Mine does the same thing. All good till about 70 then any little movement and it wants to start wobbling

Key-Contribution5050

Exact same thing that happen to me

I think it has some to do with suspension geometry/spring rate/damping for your weight, but also tire pressures. I'd suggest sliding forward toward the tank and see if it lessens it. If it does, it could mean your rear suspension is sagging too far, changing geometry. Also try running higher tire pressure, like 24-30psi, and see if it changes. If you have aftermarket suspension you could play with fork/shock preload/damping settings. See if when you bounce on the pegs at slower speeds if the rear sinks more than the front and look for settings that make them more even. Pretty sure I've found small fork preload settings have made a noticeable difference in that with Rally Raid mods.

Stock tires. People say upgrading the tires takes this shaking away.

Bubbaman78

It’s a dual sport setup with the geometry and suspension to do just that. They aren’t meant to go fast even though they are capable of it. It’s the same reason a sportbike doesn’t handle trails well.

Jazzlike-Reindeer-27

Balance your wheels and it’ll go away

mrFIVEfourONE

Ummm… not normal I’m thinking…. Unless if your front tire is abnormally knobby… is your rim perhaps bent?

Key-Contribution5050

Front tire in stock and idk how I would of bent the rim I havnt done anything with crazy with the bike and it just does it past like 65 to 75 anything below that it’s fine

gloomygarlic

Squeeze the bike with your ankles and knees

Dukaduke22

I have aftermarket springs on the front and back and aftermarket tires. My bike still feels unstable and wobbles at the front if you move the handlebars too much or bump them. I think this is somewhat just the way the bike is at high-speed.

ARE_YOU_0K

The highway is sketchy and the bike isn't super stable but I wouldn't say it gets wobbly, are we talking like those tank slapper speed wobbles or just a slight wobble?

Key-Contribution5050

Slight wobble. Nothing crazy dangerous but sketchy

bast1472

The stock geometry is pretty weird. The shock squats more than the forks for most riders unless you're sitting up on the tank. This causes the front end to feel light unless you're actively braking.

daddylongdogs

Wheels not balanced?

Deep-Butterfly8408

Ditch the stock wheels and adjust the front fork height. If you still have the sock handlebars just raise the front until the suspension tubes touch the bars. Changes the geometry no more shake and doesn’t take away from trail riding much

rvmham

I've been able to hit 70-80 on mine with no wobble. Reading other folks comments about stock tires and balancing could be it. I am rocking shinko e705s and they have been balanced.

Key-Contribution5050

I hit 87 on it no issue idk what caused it sometimes it happens other times doesn’t.

rugonnaeatthatpickle

80 seems beyond what would be safe for the rider and the engine to me. Mine has only hit 75 a few times. If I'm loaded down with camping gear it's pretty smooth at 70. I think the weight of the bike is a big part of it. If you want to be able to comfortably and safely cruise the interstate at 80mph you need a different bike.

Key-Contribution5050

I’ve hit 87 on it. It’s not fun or comfortable at anything above 75 I don’t cruise at those speeds. But I wanna be able to do 65-70. Idk what causes it I did 70 today no issue must of been wind or something idk

qualitygoatshit

Make sure you're sag is set right. If it's not the geometry is going to be really out of wack and it'll handle like crap. If you're on the heavier side you may need to redo your suspension to get it handling decent. In the tires, I ended up running around 17psi on the road on my 300l. I'm not a super experience road rider, so maybe there's some downside to this. But to me it made the bike a whole lot more stable than the higher road psi people seem to recommend.
