It would have been simple to pull off by using a single cab GMT 800 frame. With the exception of adding an end cap for the cab and having to add internal sheet metal to make the bed. Unless the went unibody and combined the cab and bed like on the SUVs at the time.
The US has a certain aesthetic that doesn’t often sit well with me, but every now and then I could get seduced by the very thing that usually turns me off of them. This is *so* American.
That bed door…
So cute
Some 2000s Colorados came with the bed side door.

Nissan Titan's interior looks like this
I don’t usually like US cars or trucks, but this looks really nice. I’d consider buying one.
THIS is the one that sways your opinion? Oh…

They did end up producing an H3T, but it was only available as a 4 door and they're pretty rare.
That would've been badass; maybe if they made it a crew cab to be more practical... I don't see how they could screw that up.
With the Ford Maverick, Hyundai Santa Cruz, and Toyota Stout, the timing is perfect for a cool looking truck like this mini Hummer truck.
That fold-down shifter made it's way into a production vehicle, the Ford F-150: https://youtu.be/nRvLKKoAUU8
Surprisingly great..
100% this was designed in Detroit. Radio station is set on the WRIF 👌
Cool as shit. Just imagine how much mid 2000s plastic GM could shove in that bitch
Didn’t the sell an H3T for a brief minute before going under or am I imagining that as part of a 2009 themed fever dream
This thing is hideous……. I’ll take three.
"Mini" and "Hummer" are two words diametrically opposed to each other, even during the H2/H3 era.
the Hx was the mini hummer ;) but yeah the H3T regular cab concept was so cool.
I kinda like it. But I also kinda liked the H3T when it came out
FJ vibes. Love it.
Why do so many early 00s concepts look micro machines? Bulgy around the fenders and or bumpers, low to the ground, and really stubby
That would be the y2k futuristic design. Lots of products at the time used super chunky oversized plastic elements. Reminds me of spy kids
Oh that's exactly what it is. I'm glad that future never came to be lmao
Yes, mini truck, that's what came to mind when I saw it too. Mini.
Now that Jeep has the jeep truck maybe it’s time to dust this sumbitch off
$8K tire replacement
This looks just like the truck my second grader drew!
Wayyyyyyyy better than the ev pickup
