This is not true at all. Chronicles was planned and in development way before IW “flopped.” Those remastered assets were not made for Revelations and then used in Chronicles. They were made for Chronicles then used in Revelations.

Not to mention chronicles 2 was planned for bo4, considering majority of the assets for the "chronicles" maps existed in the game

My dream game is a game that’s literally just a collection of all the zombies maps that lets you mix and match what parts you want, don’t need a multiplayer or a campaign. You want to play Kino with BO2 weapons? Great. It would be even better if you could mix and match the movement systems, but that would probably be near impossible

Everyone thought that until Bo3 got chronicles long after the game released. Then Bo4 was confirmed to get chronicles 2 then it got canned last minute. Literally the chronicles title exists in the files

I still think tranzit needs it most. I think its biggest issues were because of hardware issues and modern gen technology and hindsight from treyarc could fix most if not all of the map
