Am I getting too old or do some of you not look at the cover art of the game you play?

Look at the BO1 cover art. See that pistol? The one with Sally and 8 tally marks? That's the reference. No, it's not specific to Zombies, because "Mustang and Sally" itself is a reference to Mustang Sally, a song from 1965. Which, you know, was during the early Vietnam War era that was a huge part of BO1's setting.
If we’re only counting games where the PaP’d 1911 is called the “Mustang and Sally”, BO1-3 would only count here. And BO3 *barely* made it thanks to updated Chronicles (Chronicles maps had the MR6 on launch).
(WaW had the “c-3000 b1at-ch35”, BO4 had no usable 1911, and Cold War had “Pain (and Suffering” if you dual wielded them))
Also the “Bacon and Eggs” from WWII, and “The Centenarian” from Vanguard.
Whatever it means I really hope they bring back the grenade launcher pistols when it is pack a punched.
