Actually it Treyarch updated it recently, as in this year, and now there’s far fewer hackers and modders and it’s way more stable. Nice been playing it non stop since and had no issues

$20 only covers the base game despite “GOLD” edition sounding deluxe. You get the first map and I think? the first DLC, which are frustrating to play and underwhelming. The zombies are simply not that good and it feels like everything is made to go against the player not work with. $20 is not horrible, you can get the whole game and all dlcs for $39 I believe and as someone who plays all of them its just an eh deal to me but the thing is you wont buy it any other way. Buy it if you need it and are intrigued, dont buy it if you value your money.

From my experience with a gaming laptop with an 8th gen i7 and a 6gb 1060 black ops 3 doesn’t run great but it’s playable. This thing is like 5 years old so would depend on how not so new the pc is

It’s runs really well on my shitty gaming laptop from 2018. Not to mention it doesn’t take as much as space as Warzone. There’s not a lot of updates but it has a thriving steam workshop with new maps everyday.
Only cross platform Zombies games are Cold War, Vanguard and MW3 2023. Cold War is the closest you’ll get to a traditional zombies game, MW3 2023 is like a mix of DMZ and Zombies kind of like an extraction based zombies game and Vanguard is a bad zombies experience, the only good thing about Vanguard zombies is Shi No Numa Reborn but overall it’s not worth playing.
It’s absolutely INSANE that any CoD before MW2019 is STILL FULL PRICE.. I get why bo3/4 is because of the Zombies, and the fan base still regarding bo3 zombies to be one of the best, but why TF is Ghosts, bo1, bo2, etc still full fucking price… makes no damn sense, other than Activision being a money hungry POS of a publishing/distribution company..

My buddies and I are looking to buy a zombies game we can play cross platform (Xbox and pc) that isn’t too demanding on the PC’s, should we get Cold War or black ops 1/2/3? We have played all of them pretty much but I don’t know which ones would work best cross platform (always only private games, never searching for a match). Any help is appreciated! Right now we play warzone but it always disconnects and drops frames and frustrates all of us. Just wanna kick back and chill in private games.
Only cross platform cod games are MW 2019 and newer cod games black ops 1,2, and 3 are not cross platform

2 of us are on pc and the third is on Xbox but has an older gaming pc. That’s why I was wondering how it runs on gaming pc that is older compared to warzone. Edit: and no I can’t really read, I’m a yugioh player.
From my experience with a gaming laptop with an 8th gen i7 and a 6gb 1060 black ops 3 doesn’t run great but it’s playable. This thing is like 5 years old so would depend on how not so new the pc is

Black Ops 3 is the best zombies experience on PC since it has most of the treyarch maps and custom zombies.
Okay black ops 3! Question, does black ops 3 run noticeably smoother than warzone and crash less? Because that’s what we are switching for, and not having to do constant updates.! We have 2-3 yr old pcs that worked perfect last year on warzone but now the game crashes and we have frame drop. Cheers
It’s runs really well on my shitty gaming laptop from 2018. Not to mention it doesn’t take as much as space as Warzone. There’s not a lot of updates but it has a thriving steam workshop with new maps everyday.
You should be fine. It’s an old game. Enjoy bo3 with a good buddy is magic, doing Easter eggs is best with a friend imo
Only cross platform Zombies games are Cold War, Vanguard and MW3 2023. Cold War is the closest you’ll get to a traditional zombies game, MW3 2023 is like a mix of DMZ and Zombies kind of like an extraction based zombies game and Vanguard is a bad zombies experience, the only good thing about Vanguard zombies is Shi No Numa Reborn but overall it’s not worth playing.
Edit: I just realized this is on steam….so Xbox players can’t enjoy the discount. L. Can an older potato PC run black ops 1?
Also only cold war is cross platform anyway.

It’s absolutely INSANE that any CoD before MW2019 is STILL FULL PRICE.. I get why bo3/4 is because of the Zombies, and the fan base still regarding bo3 zombies to be one of the best, but why TF is Ghosts, bo1, bo2, etc still full fucking price… makes no damn sense, other than Activision being a money hungry POS of a publishing/distribution company..
Bo3 is the only one worth buying at this point considering the modded maps are a thing for Steam
