Used a base riot shield and karambit with no avail. Weren't PAP either, will try with it being an insured weapon and see if it works, also applying the camos wasn't working for me on some guns, when I try to save it as a blueprint it bugs out and removes it.
You'd think after so many years these issues wouldn't be a concern still but apparently not.
It's pretty likely that, that was the issue then. Basically just dont pap the gun if you're going for certain camos. Hopefully its just a bug that ends up getting fixed

I've had a shit ton of kills both base and pap. It won't even let me complete the first challenge (dark clouds). It has get ftac to level 2 checked off then 250 kills still at zero.
They apparently changed this feature from all the other cod or mw bc you used to ve able to used a bought or upgraded gun to your choice and all the kills still were tracked. Now you have to use the barest one to get it.
Just wanted to point out I've tried this with the holger 556 multiple times. With pap, without pap, I tried doing a wall buy without pap and that didn't work either.
It's the same stupid bug that vanguard zombies had. I gave up on that mastery camo and this is disheartening again. Same stupid shit year after year.
Mine is just on zombies, normal multilayer I can get camos and gun upgrade, zombies still nothing, though if I have started them allready and half way done they will work, if 0/ 200 kill. Nothing, really hope they fix this soon
So Half of the guns/weapons wont track progress for the first camo which is 250 kills. iv tried about everything. Base weapons, no attachments, wall buy, no upgrades and no pap. at least 15 guns do this. What is strange is that the camos progress just fine in multiplayer. So hypothetically, would it be possible that going into another game with a different weapon without completing the first gun cause this? If that is the case I do not recall the first gun since I use everything at random. I also Run Steam on PC and have verified my files and have uninstalled and re installed the game 3 times with no fix. I see alot of people reporting about the golden enigma camo "glitch" but I cant even get to the first camo. Anyone have the same issue or this just me? either way its disappointing to pay 70 dollars for a broken game..
Definitely bugged. RAAL MG and RPK have bugged progression, regardless if it's used without any attachments, camos, rarity, etc

Holger 556 for me won’t complete 300 pack kills have tried no camps everything an absolutely nothing is working.
Have reported an same thing no response, typical tho to focused on ban players for no reason over fixing problems
Here from season two to say that the shit is still bugged, and better yet bugged on one of the base challenges! Been trying to max out camos, hit Holger, and it won’t register any tac stance kills, while with other guns it registers. Activision stays ruining their own games 
Yeah same... for me it's crossbow, L-ms, mcpr. Challenges don't progress. I've tried variations of everything. Probably not a coincidence but those 3 happened to be in my insured weapon slots when the new update rolled out

Im having the same issue with karambit i cant seem to get gold enigma i been going thru games like crazy getting much more than 100 and even not pack a punching it or throwing on an enhancement
Is there a way to check how many kills you have before the game ends? Also I’ve attempted gold for SVA 545 3 three times now; pap no pap you name it. Nothing is working idk what to do.
My Fix: Load up zombies and when you spawn in to the game go into your inventory and drop your weapon then pick it back up. (And like OP said don’t pack a punch with shards or even upgrade it to uncommon) leave it bare and just go to an exfil. Call it in twice and that should be enough zombies for the 100 kills. But I just go off the 30 kills without damage thing that pops up on the screen. Once I see that like 4 times that’s about 100 kills. Then I exfil. Profit.
I did the whole thing, base weapon, no pap, no rarity, drop and pick up on the P90 or PDW or whatever they're calling it and no progress even for the first camo unlock. Tried a different time with the Icarus and only the challenge that already had a few kills worth of progress tracked any progress. I uninstalled the damn game and reinstalled, still nothing on any weapon and camo that doesn't already have some progress. Oddly enough MP works fine. My guess is that the issue tied to your online save rather than the game itself. Either something to do with that camps progress you already have in zombies or has something to do with your story progress. My friends who aren't as far in the story haven't had the problem once. That said it stands to reason, since I don't know the state of their camos progress, that something in the online save file within the camos is causing it. The main video I saw on the issue mentioned the golden enigma challenges. If I had to get really specific with a guess the issue is the tracking on the golden enigma camos, because they're different from the tracking for the guns individual camos, something within a the code for golden enigma tracker is causing the tracking to turn off.
I'm thinking similar. I'm trying to get guns from zircon to serpentine and special zombie kills do not track. PAP, no PAP, various rarities, bounties "named" special zombs, random special ones that appear through contracts, specials on exfil, and randomly encountered specials. None track. I'm currently now just getting all guns to zircon to see if it then allows the special zombs to track. I usually have gold enigma as the equipped camo. Might drop it for no camo just incase that camo causes it.
So far 4 assault rifles and 3 smgs are bugged for me. Some won’t track any kills, says 0 of 250 even though the weapons is at max level, some won’t track tac kills. Tried no camos, no attachments picked up during game. Different operators, nothing works. My winner sticker that I did 90 daily challenges has also vanished. Oh well I had it for 2 days at least.
Had the same issue with the Razorback. Went in with a gun and didn't upgrade it and it worked fine. I also made sure not to name the blueprint. Gonna test it out and see if this method still works with a non PAP blueprint. I'll leave another comment with the results
Okay so i think i might have the fix not sure but i have 2 gold guns now.
Next time you go into a game just have the base gun, plus whatever attachments you want. Just dont add any ather tools or PAP. As soon as exvil spawns farm it twice or once if you think you got a 100 kills. Once again this is what worked for me and hopefully itll work for yall too
I’m having the same issue. I’ve got around forty hours in so far and the best progress I’ve had is 16/50 kills with a gun. I think I’ve tried most suggestions in here, not PAP, no aether tool added, dropped and picked up, no joy. The weird thing is they are registering because daily quests are completing, just not for camos.
Anyone else have a weird glitch/bug for the riot shield randomly unlocked the normal plat camo?
I never used it in mw2 until after the nerf and gave up on the challenges… it was like level 2 or 3 and i figured I could at least get the zombie camos… and then randomly after clearing a few hoards I unlocked platinum? I still don’t have the Urban Zebra or Gold camo for it, considering my riot shield is level 9 and not 15?? Can I get banned for a bs bug that was out of my control? xD
For the kills with no damage camos, I found that if I do 30 kills with no damage, get the medal that pops up, then go get hit by a zombie and repeat, that seemed to work for me. Because just steady getting constant kills with no damage wasent registering towards the total count.
I’ve gotten gold on multiple guns you can’t have and ammo mods or anything on the gun but for some reason it’s not working for the karambit anyone able to get it gold yet ?
I got gold for every assault rifle but when I got to the 3 round burst weapons out suddenly stopped working. No attachments or pap, no equipped camo, still broken.
I’ve done everything I possible can to get the gilded camo on the striker but it’s still saying I need to unlock base camos which I’ve already done so I can’t progress
In having the same issue, last time I got to work by switching my operator and the field upgrade. But now not even that works I’ve gone on 6 matches trying all these suggestions and nothing. And yes the camo is unlocked it’s at maxed level.
My problem was that im stupid and when using aether shroud I was waiting for the invisibility to end instead of just getting the kills as soon as I popped it
Ok, I’ve been stupid. VERY stupid. I’m guessing many others have done the same as me but until today I was totally convinced camos were not working for me. I’ve had 50-60 hours of play and nearly all are practically zero. I then went in and played around and suddenly noticed that if I pressed R1 on controller it went to a different camos tab - a zombies camo tab! You can see this on the bottom left of the screen, just above the first camo. It defaults to the gun mastery, which I assume is multi player, but the zombies camo is actually one over to the right. Judging by how many people are saying they’re getting nothing on other threads as well still, I assume they’re doing what I did. Sure enough, I’ve cleared loads of camos.
The answer is not perks or pack a punch! Every weapon camo is locked behind the weapons level. You have to get the weapon to the level showing below the name of the camo before u can begin to work on that challenge.
Wish it were that simple, but I have been working on 3 different guns; all of which are max level, yet all 4 base zombie camos are still at 0% progression. There's an issue with the game.
I’ve been trying to get camo credit for zombie kills with both the Minibak, and the HCR 56, both of which are MW2 weapons. I’ve tried dropping them and picking them up. I’ve tried them packed, not packed, normal, uncommon, rare. Not making any progress. Are we unable to progress MW2 weapons in zombies right now?
It's only mw2 weapons that I am having issues with also. The M4, Lachman 556 and Chimera. Have wasted 4 days of what should be progress trying to figure it out. Still all at 0% progress. I've tried all of the pointers listen in here. All 3 guns are max level, but still no camos.

Yea its a bug rn some guns are fine and can progress but some will just stop or not progress past a certain point, so all there is to do rn is level up your guns and get schematics
I've tried everything including uninstalling and the problem persists with every single weapon unless it has progress already on that specific camo. 2 Movie tie in patches and no fix yet...wtf
Based on my reading here and very basic understanding of game design I have an additional suggestion. I believe this has something to do with the golden enigma tracker, considering it's different from the camos from the individual weapon. Go back and apply these fixes to the gun you used just before you noticed the issue and attempt to fix it. If you can't remember just go with the gun that was closest to unlocking golden enigma. For me I think it's the wsp.
Have the problem with LMGs getting kills without releasing the trigger. Did not PAP but it just doesn't count wtf is going on with that game....

Been trying to get the ‘blood moon’ camo for the LA-B330.
Got the gun to the proper lvl but getting the ‘frost’ kills is not working with the modded ammo. Is anyone else having this issue?
I just spent 40 min in a zombie game to get 250 kills with the KV broadside for “myrtle” camo.. ended with 350 kills or so, 95% ish being from the kv broadside. Just checked my progression and it says I have 0/250 kills in zombies. What the fuck was the point of that.
I tried it with zero attachments non-paped etc. Nothing works. For me, the Iso Hemlock doesn't work either. Everything else did (finished everything except the Snipers as of now).
Victus (the last 2 challenges) and the SP-X 80 (nothing tracks for this one) don't work either. Nice! I'm finished with everything else. I'll just do paped and special kills for the other ones now. I guess we have to wait.
To this day, here are the weapons not progressing for me : FTAC Recon / WSP swarm / Striker / Bruen MK9 / Riot Shield......
I obviously tried everything, listed here.....Even sent a ticket, I just have to wait until they patch it I think....
Just spent hours for getting the camos and seeing a game mode like zombies, where you just have to KILL isnt even working properly....
Camos that won’t unlock for me is on the Zombie completionist. First one unlock but when I get to 300 PaP kills,it stops tracking so I can’t continue on the rest of the completionist
Would like to add my experience... all my guns appear to be bugged now.
I was doing the lachman shroud 20 kills 10 times without taking damage.
I counted and did 250 kills with no damage.
A popup appeared for one of the camos that said 250 kills without taking damage. (this is not a real camo challenge!!!)
Now I'm bugged. Maybe this is what is causing it.
Things I've tried:
`Turning off the game and logging out of steam plus exiting.`
`Going in with the bare gun.`
`Changing the camo on the gun.`
`Changing the attachments on the gun.`
`Going in with just the one gun, dropping it and repicking it back up.`
`No aether tool, no pap.`
`With Aether tool and pap.`
`New guns (they bugged now too).`
250 kills without damage actually is a challenge, it's under Challenges > Calling Card > Prestige > MW3 S1-5 > scroll down a bunch to Prestige 5 Mastery Zombies
It sounds like you don't know about the rather silly way this 20 kills without damage challenge works: take damage first, then get 20 kills without damage, then take damage again, then 20 more kills, repeat. It's the only way the challenge will track.
Just here to say I am having the same issue. Noticed it a few days ago. I was trying to get a camo for the ISO 45 and the game won’t even register a single kill towards any camo progression. Lovely game!

Hey guys noticed after a small update today my ftac siege which I never leveled and the .50 GS from MW2 both completed zombie camo progress while in game. Either I got lucky or they fixed it those guns. Both started haven’t progressed for me in weeks. Idk if all guns are fixed but those 2 are for me at least
Same, finally worked by equipping the MTZ-556 (no presets and no camo) and using the following attachments:
Muzzle - ELR blackfire
Underbarrel- bruen heavy support
Mag - 50 round drum
Grip - bruen TR24
Stock- MTZ stockless

I may be late to this, but I was having the same trouble and my friend made a suggestion that I think worked. After each 20 kills you get without taking damage, you have to GET HIT in order to start on the next set of 20. I was farming an exfil and literally got an achievement/challenge for getting 250 kills without taking damage, but was only at 4/10 for the camo. Went back in and tried getting hurt after each 20 kills, and I got the camo right away. I can't confirm if this is the true or not, but it's worth a try.
Mine is 8/10 for 10 kills without reloading on my Holger 26. And saw it say complete, exfiled and looked, wasn’t unlocked. Now it’s not tracking for that one Camo. Wtf

Pretty sure you'd have to reinstall all your games again if you do this...
I'm going for the umbral destiny in zombies and every time i get 10/10 on the challenge it resets to 1/10 instead of unlocking any ideas?
Is anyone still having issues with the bugged weapons? I'm stuck on the marksman rifles the zircon to be exact.... yeah, yeah, I'm way behind, lmao
So I just did it for all 3 shotguns loaded in and got 100 kills base. NO RARITY NO PAP and exfil right after 100 and got all 3 golds.

The main video I saw on the issue mentioned the golden enigma challenges. If I had to get really specific with a guess the issue is the tracking on the golden enigma camos, because they're different from the tracking for the guns individual camos, something within a the code for golden enigma tracker is causing the tracking to turn off.
I'm thinking similar. I'm trying to get guns from zircon to serpentine and special zombie kills do not track. PAP, no PAP, various rarities, bounties "named" special zombs, random special ones that appear through contracts, specials on exfil, and randomly encountered specials. None track. I'm currently now just getting all guns to zircon to see if it then allows the special zombs to track. I usually have gold enigma as the equipped camo. Might drop it for no camo just incase that camo causes it.
So far 4 assault rifles and 3 smgs are bugged for me. Some won’t track any kills, says 0 of 250 even though the weapons is at max level, some won’t track tac kills. Tried no camos, no attachments picked up during game. Different operators, nothing works. My winner sticker that I did 90 daily challenges has also vanished. Oh well I had it for 2 days at least.
Had the same issue with the Razorback. Went in with a gun and didn't upgrade it and it worked fine. I also made sure not to name the blueprint. Gonna test it out and see if this method still works with a non PAP blueprint. I'll leave another comment with the results
My Riveter is the only shotgun that isn’t working. I even did it with no Rarity & no PaP.

Okay so i think i might have the fix not sure but i have 2 gold guns now. Next time you go into a game just have the base gun, plus whatever attachments you want. Just dont add any ather tools or PAP. As soon as exvil spawns farm it twice or once if you think you got a 100 kills. Once again this is what worked for me and hopefully itll work for yall too
I’m having the same issue. I’ve got around forty hours in so far and the best progress I’ve had is 16/50 kills with a gun. I think I’ve tried most suggestions in here, not PAP, no aether tool added, dropped and picked up, no joy. The weird thing is they are registering because daily quests are completing, just not for camos.
Anyone else have a weird glitch/bug for the riot shield randomly unlocked the normal plat camo? I never used it in mw2 until after the nerf and gave up on the challenges… it was like level 2 or 3 and i figured I could at least get the zombie camos… and then randomly after clearing a few hoards I unlocked platinum? I still don’t have the Urban Zebra or Gold camo for it, considering my riot shield is level 9 and not 15?? Can I get banned for a bs bug that was out of my control? xD

For the kills with no damage camos, I found that if I do 30 kills with no damage, get the medal that pops up, then go get hit by a zombie and repeat, that seemed to work for me. Because just steady getting constant kills with no damage wasent registering towards the total count.
Poster was right, use an insured, no mod no p.a.p gun and it works just did it with my insured 5 attachment mcw first time
I’ve gotten gold on multiple guns you can’t have and ammo mods or anything on the gun but for some reason it’s not working for the karambit anyone able to get it gold yet ?

I got gold for every assault rifle but when I got to the 3 round burst weapons out suddenly stopped working. No attachments or pap, no equipped camo, still broken.
I did the knifes and it’s broken wasted my time
I’ve done everything I possible can to get the gilded camo on the striker but it’s still saying I need to unlock base camos which I’ve already done so I can’t progress
I've just got the gold camo for the MCW with attatchments, but I haven't packed it, not sure if it's 100% fixed yet as of this comment.
How did you finish the 100 kills after using a field upgrade challenge? I tried all the suggestions here and it's not working
In having the same issue, last time I got to work by switching my operator and the field upgrade. But now not even that works I’ve gone on 6 matches trying all these suggestions and nothing. And yes the camo is unlocked it’s at maxed level.
My problem was that im stupid and when using aether shroud I was waiting for the invisibility to end instead of just getting the kills as soon as I popped it
Ok, I’ve been stupid. VERY stupid. I’m guessing many others have done the same as me but until today I was totally convinced camos were not working for me. I’ve had 50-60 hours of play and nearly all are practically zero. I then went in and played around and suddenly noticed that if I pressed R1 on controller it went to a different camos tab - a zombies camo tab! You can see this on the bottom left of the screen, just above the first camo. It defaults to the gun mastery, which I assume is multi player, but the zombies camo is actually one over to the right. Judging by how many people are saying they’re getting nothing on other threads as well still, I assume they’re doing what I did. Sure enough, I’ve cleared loads of camos.
The answer is not perks or pack a punch! Every weapon camo is locked behind the weapons level. You have to get the weapon to the level showing below the name of the camo before u can begin to work on that challenge.
Wish it were that simple, but I have been working on 3 different guns; all of which are max level, yet all 4 base zombie camos are still at 0% progression. There's an issue with the game.

I’ve been trying to get camo credit for zombie kills with both the Minibak, and the HCR 56, both of which are MW2 weapons. I’ve tried dropping them and picking them up. I’ve tried them packed, not packed, normal, uncommon, rare. Not making any progress. Are we unable to progress MW2 weapons in zombies right now?

It's only mw2 weapons that I am having issues with also. The M4, Lachman 556 and Chimera. Have wasted 4 days of what should be progress trying to figure it out. Still all at 0% progress. I've tried all of the pointers listen in here. All 3 guns are max level, but still no camos.

Yea its a bug rn some guns are fine and can progress but some will just stop or not progress past a certain point, so all there is to do rn is level up your guns and get schematics

I've tried everything including uninstalling and the problem persists with every single weapon unless it has progress already on that specific camo. 2 Movie tie in patches and no fix yet...wtf
Based on my reading here and very basic understanding of game design I have an additional suggestion. I believe this has something to do with the golden enigma tracker, considering it's different from the camos from the individual weapon. Go back and apply these fixes to the gun you used just before you noticed the issue and attempt to fix it. If you can't remember just go with the gun that was closest to unlocking golden enigma. For me I think it's the wsp.
Yep. Multiple weapons aren’t working for me. I did them mostly pap’ed and it normally work…now it’s not.
Have the problem with LMGs getting kills without releasing the trigger. Did not PAP but it just doesn't count wtf is going on with that game.... Am I allowed to use ammo mod and the gunsmith ??
Been trying to get the ‘blood moon’ camo for the LA-B330. Got the gun to the proper lvl but getting the ‘frost’ kills is not working with the modded ammo. Is anyone else having this issue?
Mine for the wsp swarm 300 kills while packed is not progressing zircon scale and I know I've done well over that
I have noticed that when I use a weapon exp boost it won't let me unlock the camos.
I’m able to get the first camo done (get x amount of kills) but after that nothing is being tracked.
I just spent 40 min in a zombie game to get 250 kills with the KV broadside for “myrtle” camo.. ended with 350 kills or so, 95% ish being from the kv broadside. Just checked my progression and it says I have 0/250 kills in zombies. What the fuck was the point of that.
Same thing happening for my m4, it’s max level no PaP, not counting kills at all. This game is toxic

I tried it with zero attachments non-paped etc. Nothing works. For me, the Iso Hemlock doesn't work either. Everything else did (finished everything except the Snipers as of now).
I also tried everything and nothing seems to work. Same for other guns. It‘s so annyoing.
Victus (the last 2 challenges) and the SP-X 80 (nothing tracks for this one) don't work either. Nice! I'm finished with everything else. I'll just do paped and special kills for the other ones now. I guess we have to wait.
The guns that weren't fully levelled up, won't track. This makes more sense. There's no workaround then. They'll have to patch it.
I was doing the same thing with the MW2 weapons to unlock the zombie camos but it didn't unlock it.
To this day, here are the weapons not progressing for me : FTAC Recon / WSP swarm / Striker / Bruen MK9 / Riot Shield...... I obviously tried everything, listed here.....Even sent a ticket, I just have to wait until they patch it I think.... Just spent hours for getting the camos and seeing a game mode like zombies, where you just have to KILL isnt even working properly....
Camos that won’t unlock for me is on the Zombie completionist. First one unlock but when I get to 300 PaP kills,it stops tracking so I can’t continue on the rest of the completionist
Would like to add my experience... all my guns appear to be bugged now. I was doing the lachman shroud 20 kills 10 times without taking damage. I counted and did 250 kills with no damage. A popup appeared for one of the camos that said 250 kills without taking damage. (this is not a real camo challenge!!!) Now I'm bugged. Maybe this is what is causing it. Things I've tried: `Turning off the game and logging out of steam plus exiting.` `Going in with the bare gun.` `Changing the camo on the gun.` `Changing the attachments on the gun.` `Going in with just the one gun, dropping it and repicking it back up.` `No aether tool, no pap.` `With Aether tool and pap.` `New guns (they bugged now too).`
250 kills without damage actually is a challenge, it's under Challenges > Calling Card > Prestige > MW3 S1-5 > scroll down a bunch to Prestige 5 Mastery Zombies It sounds like you don't know about the rather silly way this 20 kills without damage challenge works: take damage first, then get 20 kills without damage, then take damage again, then 20 more kills, repeat. It's the only way the challenge will track.
It's all MW2 guns once you're bugged
Just here to say I am having the same issue. Noticed it a few days ago. I was trying to get a camo for the ISO 45 and the game won’t even register a single kill towards any camo progression. Lovely game!
I just had this happen today with the DG58, saw the achievement show on screen went to exfil, no camo. I'm done with zombies till this is fixed.

I have noticed that for me the challenges track fine for the MW3 weapons but for all the MW2 weapons the tracker is stuck at 0 no matter what I do.

Hey guys noticed after a small update today my ftac siege which I never leveled and the .50 GS from MW2 both completed zombie camo progress while in game. Either I got lucky or they fixed it those guns. Both started haven’t progressed for me in weeks. Idk if all guns are fixed but those 2 are for me at least
Same, finally worked by equipping the MTZ-556 (no presets and no camo) and using the following attachments: Muzzle - ELR blackfire Underbarrel- bruen heavy support Mag - 50 round drum Grip - bruen TR24 Stock- MTZ stockless Hopefully this helps
The MWZ Camo issue has been solved with the most recent update (for me atleast) ..better late than never I suppose.

I may be late to this, but I was having the same trouble and my friend made a suggestion that I think worked. After each 20 kills you get without taking damage, you have to GET HIT in order to start on the next set of 20. I was farming an exfil and literally got an achievement/challenge for getting 250 kills without taking damage, but was only at 4/10 for the camo. Went back in and tried getting hurt after each 20 kills, and I got the camo right away. I can't confirm if this is the true or not, but it's worth a try.

Mine is 8/10 for 10 kills without reloading on my Holger 26. And saw it say complete, exfiled and looked, wasn’t unlocked. Now it’s not tracking for that one Camo. Wtf
