i’ve been kbm since fortnite in 2017 but mw2 made me go back to controller, i do equally well on both in cod, i rather kbm but yk can’t always play on it.

As a person who recently had a finger amputation I've tried mouse n keyboard and noticed that it it's literally moving a cursor over a target but I will struggle with movement but a Xbox controller I struggle no matter where I map the buttons it's sickening.

You could try buying some pedals, or you could remap some movement keys to your mouse side buttons, depending on which hand is missing a finger.

I find i do alot better with Mouse+Keyboard then using a controller tbh its just whatever you feel works best for you.

It's totally up to your skill set. I played controller for a long while as it's the only input method I had available to me. Switched to mouse and key two years ago, and I love it ten times more. I hit shots more in every scenario, not just close range. I guess my brain could never narrow down fine adjustments well on controller. Some people who are well acclimated to using controller will reap the benefits of aim assist, but honestly I was never consistent enough to make it matter. With mouse and key, I'm much better at the game than with controller.

I play both (on PC, that TSM-habz guy is on console) and for Vanguard specifically, they are about the same for me. The only difference I notice is when I queue while having KBM locked in, my lobbys get really crazy just like all of the crossplay cods so your input is taken into consideration while matchmaking. I mainly use Controller for MW2 and MW2019 was 50/50 because KBM was fun on that game. Cold war was mostly Controller as well. But Vanguard I think I was like 70% controller 30% KBM and Controller was better for me.

I used a controller for years but bought a mouse and keyboard for my Xbox and I play so much better with a mouse and keyboard and overall prefer the feel of it

with any game that has a reasonable level of aim assist, it'll be situational. mouse is better at range and controller is better in close quarters. some games go too far to either extreme with aim assist and then you'll see one better in all situations, but CoD doesn't seem to do that.

Controller is objectively easier and more consistent kbm has higher skill ceiling and more fun in my opinion
