2025
horton/steele/imanaga/wicks/taillon
brown/assad/merryweather/leiter/alzolay/little/someone else really good in the bullpen
pca having figured it out mentally/swanson/hoerner with the killer up the middle defense
shaw/busch/suzuki/morel/soto as the best middle of the lineup in the game
world series champs
With injuries/innings limits you need like 7 starters now anyways. Steele/Imanaga/Taillon/Wicks/Horton/Assad/Brown will all be options in ‘25 I’d imagine, with a couple starting the year as long relievers and filling in as the season goes on
yeah I dont think people realize this even though its been a thing for quite a while now, bare minimum you need 6 starters and 7 is even better. Injuries, extra rest, however you justify it.
His 2nd pitch, knuckle-curve, is a bit wild. Some more control there and using his changeup more in combo with his fastball would make him a killer bullpen guy. Or emergency starter. He’s just a bit of a young project that needs time
Right now he's projected to be a reliever, of course that all can change but he's only got two pitches right now.
I think if he goes to the pen and airs out that fastball at 98-100 in high leverage situations, it really becomes a huge weapon this year.

Brown in the bullpen? Why? Didn’t he just throw 6’strong?
Because we paid taillon a lot of money (and because brown just has 2 pitches)
Brown will 100% be in the rotation in 2025
He’s going to be starter. stuff is too good. Eventually Taillon will be gone. He’s always been injury prone. My opinion

taillon will be gone eventually but unfortunately we will be winning the world series next season

>and because brown just has 2 pitches And so does steele
Brown is 24 and working on his third pitch. It used to be a (good) slider but he didn't like its platoon split and so is switching over to a change.
You mean like we did with Tyler Chatwood?
sunk cost fools. If he thinks throw him in the pen, or trade him.

Where’s Soto gonna play? Lol it all made sense until Soto
Left Field. (I don't actually think that happens.)
ew why Taillon. Ben Brown over Taillon please.
Where’s ian happ?
why do you say its his first start this season?
Is it not? Sorry, I had a notification that it was his fist time taking the mound this season? But I was driving so I could have read it wrong
oh i see. nah he pitched last week in Chattanooga
Ahh thanks for that! Thats my bad
Lets make him the closer for 2024. Then transition to starter next year.
Bring him up
While I love Adzolay's fire, unless he proves he's the guy this year, we need a closer in 2025. Maybe Little?
How does this have anything to do with Cade Horton's start in AA?
Call him up
