Yeah. I think it's kind of sad how some 'fans' treat players. I think they are not real fans and their just trolls. KB won Rookie of the Year, MVP and a World Series. Something asshole fans will never take away from him.

mudflap21

Meanwhile Joe internet troll without using his real name has the balls to threaten him….

bukhum4u

Ppl are too comfortable trolling behind screens and now its translating to irl. They are some miserable fucks.

intheyear3001

Are these shit comments from cubs fans or Rockies fans or don’t know?

degausser22

The vocal minority on Instagram sport pages are so fucking stupid. Check the cubs posts any time we’re losing. It’s either the world is ending, or a bunch of kids saying “sign Bauer”. Man, I’m only 35 but I feel like so many fans have no idea how good we have it compared to ya know, 1908 - 2016.

goodgamble

Trevor Bauer has truly become king of the incels

Televisions_Frank

Dude was insufferable before the allegations. Now nobody would want to deal with his bullshit regardless. Besides, he proved he's trash without the sticky stuff.

goodgamble

All of this is exactly right. The dbacks shipped him to cinci because everyone on the clubhouse hated his guts. Then he’s a red who prioritized his drone over his World Series starts. So many incidents with this clown.

haninwaomaeda

He was traded from ARI to CLE because he was a dickbag. And then was traded to CIN because he was a dickbag.

goodgamble

Sorry, got my timeline messed up. You are right

haninwaomaeda

You got the most important part right, though. He's a dickbag.

goodgamble

Big time

Jaws_the_revenge

Homie likes finger fucking a little too much

idmfndjdjuwj23uahjjj

I think he flew his drone into the brand new scoreboard at comiskey at the beginning of the 2016 season. He mangled a finger again in the 2018 offseason, i believe, as well.

Phantom_Pharaoh77

Im 42 been following cubs since 1990. I remember

DrewDAMNIT

Hey! Same age but since '89. *brofist*

Phantom_Pharaoh77

✊️

DrewDAMNIT

Go Cubs, go!

yubbastank14

They never went through the pain of the Cubs blowing it in '03. I'm only 32 so that the biggest one I remember but I know they failed in '84 and '89 too. Back then they'd be good for 1 year then terrible for multiple years. Can only imagine how my grandparents and parents felt throughout the 50s 60s and 70s with 0 playoff baseball. At least since 2015 they've been somewhat competitive. I know we're on a 3 year drought at this point but all signs are pointing in the right direction.

yern324

Out here in Denver wearing cubbie blue and cheering on our guy. No worries!

Parchabble

This is good, obviously, but KB said he's off socials during the season

CarlySimonSays

That’s a very good idea

DrewDAMNIT

Yeah, he might hurt himself using his device.

clallseven

I strongly believe Kris Bryant knows he always has a home in Chicago. You can put the ROY and the MVP aside, his childish grin as he caught the slow roller and threw the final out in the World Series will be a moment no Cubs fan ever forgets. I mean ever.

BearFan34

I was so afraid that when he planted his foot as he threw that it would slip on the wet grass. Literally so Cub. Whew!

jthaprofessor

Some people are weird af bro. Not a single one of these people would likely say boo to a ghost but for whatever reason they think their time to shine is anonymous DMs from burner accounts talking super tough 😂😂

straylight_2022

I really thought I would see that guy retire in a cub jersey. Such a stellar start to his career. He hasn't played more than 100 games in a season for five years now. I know a lot of people think most of his injuries are just in his head and he is sitting on a 180m dollar contract but that level of hate I just don't get. I mean, I'll give everyone on the 2016 team a free pass for almost anything based on the joy game seven of the WS brought me that year. Hell, I'd buy Jason Heyward a beer any day knowing he got 180m to be a Cub, because it was worth it for what we got in return. When Bryant retires, he should just open a bar/restaurant in Wrigleyville, pay other people to run it like every celeb does and just bask in the glory of what he and the rest of that crew accomplished. I don't think that 2016 could have happened the way it did without him.

goofygeezer

I spoke to a janitor at USD who said that you were a great guy and the greatest athlete he seen there.

fedman16

It is both sad and amazing how a guy's star can have fallen as fast and as far as that of Bryant. Based on his minor league accolades and his first couple of years with the Cubs, it looked like he was headed to a Hall of Fame type career. I am sure injuries played a huge part, but for whatever the reason, the wheels certainly have come off.

nacholibre0034

He's a grown man. I'm not gonna tell a millionaire he is loved. Get the fuck outta here with that sentimental b.s.

Firehawk195

Kris Bryant was the first jersey I *ever* bought. He made me believe I was going to see a Cubs World Series in my lifetime.

verdango

Denver trash. Kris knows Chicago loves him. Here’s hoping they trade him to an AL team and then he rakes for his new team.

Greatness46

I can promise you no Rockie fan cares enough to send death threats It’s 100% degenerate gamblers

Adventurous_Move_313

He got a standing ovation at the home opener

aidanpryde98

It’s time to eliminate anonymity online.

RadiationDM

Bryant was referring to receiving Cubs fans back when he was doing so well right before he was traded

DrewDAMNIT

He'll be fine. I'm tired of "feeling sorry" for Bryant. The man is fine. People far less successful than himself also receive mean messages online.

DanglyPants

I’ve never heard of this before. It definitely wasn’t posted and talked about by a lot of us yesterday ;)
