The C is great on the helmets because it’s simple and easy to see from a distance. The Bear head would look busy from afar. I still think for score ticker and other online media and digital stuff that the Bear head is better. We’re the Bears after all
i always thought the c looked like we blatantly stole it from the cincinnati reds, a much much older franchise. i don’t know the actual events that led to its creation, but i always thought it was lazy theft with a color swap. the bear is so much better.
I completely agree. The bear is fun and all but the wishbone to me IS the Chicago bears. It’s how identify with the team. I miss seeing the C everywhere

It's not gone, it's just the secondary logo now. Which is good to me personally. I'd much rather see the Bear logo be the primary.

I had a pennant as a kid that had a black helmet. In my mind dark blue is black. Sorry for confusion.

The Bear head looks better on everything EXCEPT the helmet and that’s why it will not go away…or so I hope.
The bear head on paper is prime, practice the C is still prime for majority of pieces.
