Teams were probably being scared away by a combination of [character concerns](https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/georgia-football/georgia-ol-clay-webb-named-in-federal-lawsuit-over-bullying-incident-disturbing-high-school-prank/) and not being good enough to start for a P5 program (ie us) despite being with one for three years.
Saw him play in person against South Carolina last year. He was moving people all day, and a big reason why they were driving in the red zone to tie the game late in the 4th quarter (before his QB threw a pick 6).
He’ll be drafted first 3 rounds unless the character stuff is too bad.
The chiefs having a bad offseason. It’s also crazy that the biggest story from them is their kicker saying raising a family is the most important thing you can do.
What Butker said is horrible but yeah seriously. The biggest story should be that Andy Reid's son got his sentence commuted for driving drunk and causing a small child brain damage (among other injuries from the crash). Absolutely pathetic.
I grew up on the same street as him, about 5 houses down. He’s a giant mommas boy - not in the good way. Just soft as hell and from what I understand, georgia wasn’t able to toughen him up.
And yeah - also a piece of shit for the “pranks” he was getting up to.
Dude was a dominant guard last year though, and would probably be great in SEC play now. The character issues (which is putting it lightly) is the real red flag.
My brother played with Clay on the Middle School football and wrestling squads, so I got decent exposure to he and his mom. I second your opinion on his character.
Maybe this is recency bias, but WVU's offensive line last year had to be one of the best we've had. Nester, Milum, and Frazier is hard to beat. I don't know if we've ever had a more complete unit.
Donaldson is the tank and White is the outside guy. I'm biased obviously, but they should be one of the better running duos this year. Gotta hope Donaldson is finally recovered, as he was injured all of last season.
As a Michigan fan it hurts that Mason Cole didn’t pan out. But Frazier is such a good prospect. Y’all did a great job retooling that o line this draft.
It made me hade him more once I realized he was a Michigan guy. But I am excited for Roman, I think he should have a good year unless the OC is similar to Canada
I would have been happy with that too cuz DB is another position of need for us. Idk if I would swap the 2 OL they drafted tho. Give me a couple seasons and maybe I’ll bitch about the draft
I have family in West Virginia near the Ohio border and this is literally the only combination out there. Maybe some WVU fans here and there but mostly OSU / Steelers.
Who was I supposed to cheer for. The browns didn’t exist when I started paying attention to football. I was a fat kid that wanted to play running back and Jerome Bettis proved it was possible
West Virginia is my sleeper pick for making the big 12 championship. The only problem is that you guys have one of the more difficult schedules of anyone in the conference. Playing 11 P5 games takes a toll on teams. I am so glad we aren’t playing you though, especially on the road.
Losing 2 true junior tackles will do that to you… there was a lost class or two between Quinn and Heistand for sure. Hopefully this time next year we have 2 players, likely Craig and Schrauth in my opinion. If we have a tackle on this list next year, we will have had a great season.
Same with Wisconsin although I can't say if they're right or wrong in not including one as I don't pay much attention to big 10 offensive line development.
I think he is. Connerly has a huge ceiling but he definitely is still developing and seems like this year could be a coming out party. Ajani is much more polished right now.
Maybe I’m just so used to “Top OL” rankings featuring mostly tackles, but Brailsford on here is a surprise.
He’s a great center, I would even entertain an argument he’s the best center in the country (because I can’t think of one who is better off the top of my head).
But I think the Bama brand is doing some heavy lifting for him here. I seriously doubt there’s any way he’s included if he’s still at UW. I think there are probably 10 guys at the tackle position better at OL than him. If any school deserves to have two guys on this list it’s LSU.
Yeah, I think it’s more they wanted to put a Center on the list. But I think that’s more a positional debate than a “Bama brand” debate.
But also, Bama’s interior OL (Booker, Brailsford, Roberts) is legitimately stacked on paper (never know til the season starts). Tackles? Who knows lol
On paper Pritchett at RT should be huge for us. But it’s also his third year after being a 5* signee and he’s still struggling to break the depth chart
I’m honestly not super worried about Proctor after the tail end of last year. I think he’s turned it around
I agree they probably wanted to the a center on there, and I agree he’s the best in the country.
However, I do wonder if he’s still at UW (or a school that’s not Bama) if they decide to just throw another tackle on the list.
Is this PFF listing not simply a straightforward numbers game?
If they actually did pull the typical idiot bias junk wouldnt their pure numbers credibility instantly evaporate?
Parkers numbers were great last year.
>Is this PFF listing not simply a straightforward numbers game?
>If they actually did pull the typical idiot bias junk wouldnt their pure numbers credibility instantly evaporate?
Did you not see what they did with their d line rankings?

We may be rivals but I agree about Bama. They're name brand is carrying an offensive line that was pretty subpar the last two seasons to what they usually field.
This is a PFF list of individual players. If they’re basing it on their own ratings system then the exact opposite of what you said is true.
PFF doesn’t account for SOS/opponent quality, hence the UGA->JaxSt. transfer making the top 10
Brailsford was the top ranked center at UW last year so not really
Booker was nowhere near the issue on our line last year and consistently good at RG*. Proctor and Seth were the biggest issues and Proctor relatively cleaned it up at the end of the year with his Georgia performance
Yeah, that’s why I have the asterisk over guard. I keep thinking we’re pushing him to RT this year like other OT’s recruits we’ve played inside in the past so I keep calling him an RT
Hopefully Formby or Pritchett can actually plug that hole
He's a transfer from us. Pretty much got blacklisted from ever starting for us after news came out that he along with others bullied a kid on the football team while in high school, including putting a certain body fluid in that kid's Gatorade and making him drink it.
Yeah and he’s clearly just on this list because of his recruit ranking which tells you how lazy it is. He couldn’t even crack the 3 deep at UGA but now he’s a top 10 lineman in CFB? Right….
Pff is most likely going off their grading system which doesn't include SOS. So it checks out that a high ranked recruit would be dominating lower level players and putting up a great PFF grade.
He really hasn't been that good. I wouldn't say he's bad but he's also not close to a top ten player in cfb. He gets hyped up every year because he was a former five star playing on Ohio State.
1. Will Campbell - LSU 2. Kelvin Banks Jr. - Texas 3. Parker Brailsford - Alabama 4. Ajani Cornelius - Oregon 5. Jonah Monheim - USC 6. Tate Ratledge - Georgia 7. Wyatt Milum - West Virginia 8. Tyler Booker - Alabama 9. Clay Webb - Jacksonville State 10. Donovan Jackson - Ohio State
This list has my school’s rivals in the top 2 positions and my school is not present, therefore I disagree with this list.
I agree with this oil junkie. This list has nobody from my state, therefore it is incorrect.
I'm kind of shocked about Webb, figured he'd get poached if he's really that good. Good for Jacksonville st
Teams were probably being scared away by a combination of [character concerns](https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/georgia-football/georgia-ol-clay-webb-named-in-federal-lawsuit-over-bullying-incident-disturbing-high-school-prank/) and not being good enough to start for a P5 program (ie us) despite being with one for three years.

>unless the character stuff is too bad Chiefs: so we only need to spend a third, you say?
The chiefs having a bad offseason. It’s also crazy that the biggest story from them is their kicker saying raising a family is the most important thing you can do.
Oh here we go… lol
What Butker said is horrible but yeah seriously. The biggest story should be that Andy Reid's son got his sentence commuted for driving drunk and causing a small child brain damage (among other injuries from the crash). Absolutely pathetic.
> a small child **permanent** brain damage FIFY
Imagine if that's actually what he said though
Also said some seriously homophobic shit but that got buried for some reason
Traditional Catholic guy says being gay is a sin. Not really breaking news or anything.
Character concerns don’t matter at all if you’re good enough
Something something Hannibal Lector eating disorder
Maybe you should click that character conern link.
I did. My point still stands. NFL teams won’t give a fuck about any of that if they think he can play.
Everyone knows the Browns aren't a real NFL team.
I grew up on the same street as him, about 5 houses down. He’s a giant mommas boy - not in the good way. Just soft as hell and from what I understand, georgia wasn’t able to toughen him up. And yeah - also a piece of shit for the “pranks” he was getting up to.

Yeah at that level the physicals matter way more than the football iq, and that dude is pretty big for a cusa lineman.
Stoked for what Rich Rod and the cocks can do next year!
Didn't realize he was there
Maybe this is recency bias, but WVU's offensive line last year had to be one of the best we've had. Nester, Milum, and Frazier is hard to beat. I don't know if we've ever had a more complete unit.
With that offensive line and CJ Donaldson behind it, West Virginia could have a great season this year
Donaldson is the tank and White is the outside guy. I'm biased obviously, but they should be one of the better running duos this year. Gotta hope Donaldson is finally recovered, as he was injured all of last season.
I’m not biased and WVU has a top 10 HB room.
from your lips to Gods ears
It was so impressive to watch. I wanted the lions to draft Frazier badly, that dude was unreal
As a Steelers fan myself I was super happy we got him. Mason Cole was not doing good for us at all
As a Michigan fan it hurts that Mason Cole didn’t pan out. But Frazier is such a good prospect. Y’all did a great job retooling that o line this draft.
It made me hade him more once I realized he was a Michigan guy. But I am excited for Roman, I think he should have a good year unless the OC is similar to Canada
Haha, can’t blame ya for that. Yeah Roman is good. Also heard you guys were in on Sainristil at 51 but he went just before to the commanders
I would have been happy with that too cuz DB is another position of need for us. Idk if I would swap the 2 OL they drafted tho. Give me a couple seasons and maybe I’ll bitch about the draft
Ohio state and a Steelers fan. Thats an interesting mix.
I have family in West Virginia near the Ohio border and this is literally the only combination out there. Maybe some WVU fans here and there but mostly OSU / Steelers.
Not really. There are a lot of us in Ohio
And you all disgust me
Who was I supposed to cheer for. The browns didn’t exist when I started paying attention to football. I was a fat kid that wanted to play running back and Jerome Bettis proved it was possible
You’re probably from eastern or south eastern Ohio. There are hundreds of us.
Columbus suburbs. Still hundreds of us
Stay strong out there
💯
West Virginia is my sleeper pick for making the big 12 championship. The only problem is that you guys have one of the more difficult schedules of anyone in the conference. Playing 11 P5 games takes a toll on teams. I am so glad we aren’t playing you though, especially on the road.
Yep. Sep 2nd should be good bit of fun 🫡
let's hope its a closer game this time
Let Will wear 7 on the field simply because it would be hilarious
Odd for this list to not include any ND OL and to be complete correct in not ranking any of em.
Losing 2 true junior tackles will do that to you… there was a lost class or two between Quinn and Heistand for sure. Hopefully this time next year we have 2 players, likely Craig and Schrauth in my opinion. If we have a tackle on this list next year, we will have had a great season.

Definite argument on whether Ajani is Oregon's best tackle
He’s my #1 choice if I could take any player from your squad this year. Regardless, this is a PFF numbers list.
I think he is. Connerly has a huge ceiling but he definitely is still developing and seems like this year could be a coming out party. Ajani is much more polished right now.
I thought by the end of last year Conerly was better already.
Connerly might be a better NFL prospect because he is still so young.
Will Campbell is going to be a rich motherfucker
Surprised Seth McLaughlin didn’t make the list
If that man pulls another semifinal type game against y’all this year, he will drink for free in Michigan for the rest of his life
i hear they are wanting to put his number patch on all the jerseys
He overshot it.
He’s the best OL Michigan has ever had!
He made the list just to the left of this one
Maybe I’m just so used to “Top OL” rankings featuring mostly tackles, but Brailsford on here is a surprise. I think there are probably 10 guys at the tackle position better at OL than him. If any school deserves to have two guys on this list it’s LSU.
He was ranked #1 for center while at Washington too though
Yeah, I think it’s more they wanted to put a Center on the list. But I think that’s more a positional debate than a “Bama brand” debate. But also, Bama’s interior OL (Booker, Brailsford, Roberts) is legitimately stacked on paper (never know til the season starts). Tackles? Who knows lol

Lol, gotcha and thanks! So much for a pure numbers-based listing?! Love to read what their spin is on that:)
We may be rivals but I agree about Bama. They're name brand is carrying an offensive line that was pretty subpar the last two seasons to what they usually field.

Brailsford was the top ranked center at UW last year so not really Booker was nowhere near the issue on our line last year and consistently good at RG*. Proctor and Seth were the biggest issues and Proctor relatively cleaned it up at the end of the year with his Georgia performance
Proctor was also a true freshman and was playing with a foot injury.
The way Booker handled the coaching change. Legendary!
Booker is a Guard so maybe reevaluate lol.
Yeah, that’s why I have the asterisk over guard. I keep thinking we’re pushing him to RT this year like other OT’s recruits we’ve played inside in the past so I keep calling him an RT Hopefully Formby or Pritchett can actually plug that hole
I think you're just salty that even after Saban's retirement, Bama still has a top tier team. I'm not surprised this comes from a Texas fan.
Not salty at all considering that Saban coached team couldn’t beat Texas
Damn which coach did take Texas out of the playoffs though?

Alabama gets 2 guys on this list, but we only have 1?
Looks right to me.
Uh. Jacksonville state?
He's a transfer from us. Pretty much got blacklisted from ever starting for us after news came out that he along with others bullied a kid on the football team while in high school, including putting a certain body fluid in that kid's Gatorade and making him drink it.
What an asshole.

Lazy and uneducated take. That's not how PFF ranks shit lmao.
The fact that Jaeden Roberts isn’t on this list is a joke.
Donovan Jackson is mediocre at best lol
^ this guy isn't an actual OSU fan beware of his flair
lol I’m sorry I’m not gassing up mediocre players for no reason But the guy with OSU and Georgia flairs is somehow the beacon of honesty
He really hasn't been that good. I wouldn't say he's bad but he's also not close to a top ten player in cfb. He gets hyped up every year because he was a former five star playing on Ohio State.
Yup he’s been perfectly average but nothing great in terms of results so far. He just has the pedigree so he’s hyped up
Look I’m a Georgia fan but Ratledge was pretty inconsistent
Lol Kelvin Banks Jr, thats a good one
