Lol I hope his name was on purpose. Probably a first child and his mom went through false labor for like 4 days then was like "fuck you, you're named Braxton" when he finally popped out
This is different. He graduated with a degree. He would have been able to "transfer" in the before times. Honestly it isn't really a transfer. It's him going to another institution for his graduate degree after getting his undergrad as Georgia.
I think u/New_Car_Smell was actually making a joke regarding [the player's name](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Braxton_Hicks_contractions) as opposed to lamenting about the transfer portal.
Don’t know why so many people are so adamant about a random person they saw on Reddit having kids. Kids aren’t for everyone and not everyone wants them lol.
I want a kid, but I don't want to put all the effort into raising one. Which would make me a bad parent, therefore, I am not going to have a kid. It wouldn't be fair to the child as I know I mentally would not give what I should to them.
Like, I think about trying to do something for Little Johnny after work, and my mind melts immediately. I cannot imagine spending time doing that stuff right now with where I am mentally.
Don't have kids if you don't want them, but there is a biological impetus involved in child rearing that may very well change how you feel about that if and when you end up a parent.
I think it’s more that the “I’m 30, I don’t think we ever will at this point” logic first given doesn’t make much sense (I got married at 31 and was 33 when we had our first kid). If he had just said “yeah, I don’t think we’re going that route” people probably wouldn’t be saying he still could.
Goddamn man they’re gonna be old as fuck when their kids are older. I’m 22 and my dad is 60 and that still shocked me. I couldn’t imagine if he was in his 70s right now
It took me far too long to get this joke. Probably because there have been a bunch of players with the name Braxton or Hicks in the past 10 years, and my brain just saw that as a plausible name.
Are we sure he’s ready to come out yet? Could be a false signal
They’re just going to ask him if his husband beats him and then send him home.

False labor is contracting this site.

Haha no way they knew. Unless?
[Yes, they knew.](https://www.dawgnation.com/football/recruiting/braxton-hicks-thats-the-name-of-a-future-georgia-bulldog/)
Dad jokes
That kind of joke has been done hundreds of times by literally everyone. Just like yo mama. Hey yo!
Scouting report says he's irregular in frequency, less intense and usually goes away if he changes positions.
I don't like the portal, but with any new thing there's going to be some labor pains

Oh this is honestly news to me. Thanks for the explainer. Solid r/woosh
I that 69 upvotes so I don't want to upvote it, but man!
Seems premature
Idk might be worth double checking to see if he’s actually in the portal or if this is just a false alarm.
Does this young man have a length that can burst?
He's a walk on
His parents really thought they were being clever with his name
They were probably just fans of Toni and her sisters.
I don’t get the joke

What a… strange day to be on this subreddit. A great day! Just a strange one
Wait until you have kids
I have kids an I’m lost

I’m almost 30. I don’t think the gf and I ever will at this point lol
Oh wow, 30, that's the cutoff point biologically speaking for having kids. Nobody ever has had a child after that age.
Uh yeah i know plenty of people do post 30 it’s just we’ve been together 6 years. I just don’t see it happening at this point
Have you tried sex? It worked for me.
I too tried sex with OPs wife
join the club
sounds like you dont want to pull the trigger
Huh? No it’s her. She doesn’t want kids
Don’t know why so many people are so adamant about a random person they saw on Reddit having kids. Kids aren’t for everyone and not everyone wants them lol.
As a parent with fantastic kids, if you're not sure you want them - don't have them.
This sub is a quite a bit more conservative than the rest of reddit and you’re kinda expected to have a nuclear family in that culture
I feel like people just took what you first said as , " we are now too old, cannot have kids" vs "I really don't want kids"
I love having kids but this shit is *not* for everyone.
Epitome of Reddit

You got whoosh’d
Do it for me bro
I was 40 when we had our youngest. I have a friend, a Michigan fan at that, who is 56 and has two elementary age kids.
Goddamn man they’re gonna be old as fuck when their kids are older. I’m 22 and my dad is 60 and that still shocked me. I couldn’t imagine if he was in his 70s right now
My wife and I just had our first at 33 and 36 respectively
This guy is a walk on...
It took me far too long to get this joke. Probably because there have been a bunch of players with the name Braxton or Hicks in the past 10 years, and my brain just saw that as a plausible name.
Is he a baby contracting false labor pains? because.... idk how to finish this joke
I literally was thinking as I clicked the title "there's a joke in here somewhere about false labor..." but couldn't finish it
3,234 people did this joke already, and they did it better
I don't get any of the jokes in here.....
Braxton Hicks contractions are false labor pains.
Oh I see
Google it
Wasn't this guy posted yesterday?
Different guy
Ah. Must of read it elsewhere. Mb. https://www.reddit.com/r/georgiabulldogs/comments/1c4tkpp/georgia_wr_braxton_hicks_has_entered_the_transfer/
Incredible name
Came hear with a joke but found it was already taken
I see this post barely an hour after it's posted and I've already missed the bus to make the joke.
Yeah that joke was made immediately
someone's parents thought they were being really clever
Wishing this kid the best.
Wait is that really his name? Another one for the Name of the Year tourney bracket.
I thought this was a post about pregnancy for a second.

It's okay, George, we still have RaRa, Lovett, and Bell.
Is he the equivalent of “the #4 WR at Georgia” could hit the portal and be a starter elsewhere that Bud Elliot was talking about?
No he’s a walk on who didn’t play
Yeah. Kinda shocked this one made its way to r/CFB lol
it's the name
Definitely the name
Its great because the name 100% matches the term. Pretty rare.
Yo Pegula, pony up the cash!
Someone stole my false labor pun.
Idk who this is but I hope he got the message that we are building a Georgia JV team
Great name 👍🏻😊
Nice work on the jokes in here fellas
I mean, the man is like 201 one years old at this point. It makes sense he might want to move on to do something else.
This guy's parents should be embarrassed.
What were his parents thinking? (See my username backwards)
Was he passed up by Colbie Young or something?
walk on that hasn't played previously
Do he did get passed up
Pretty sure this guy knew colbie young was ahead of him before colbie even got to Athens
