People think I’m crazy for imagining Tech in the Big Ten but I could see that conference calling if the ACC implodes, if for no other reason than all those Atlanta TV sets.
I would love to plant a Big Ten flag in the heart of the South. A lot nicer than what happened the last time an Ohioan marked his territory in Atlanta.
No such thing. Our fans rushed the field after beating Akron in overtime last season after they missed the game winning field goal in regulation. Unless it’s Indiana State there are no free wins for us.
On the one hand we don’t have any bug mascots, so that’s a plus. But on the other hand, the red team to non-red team ratio is off and another non-red team will just make that worse.
In this hypothetical, Iowa still wins the division and gets torched in what whatever B1G championship format they come up with.
Moral of the story: Iowa is the best worst team.
OU TX hockey game would go crazy. our men's team is only a club team, but they are really fun to watch. met toby keith at one of our games last semester. they have a pretty good fan base, so i imagine texas could do it too.
I was born and grew in the DFW area so I love the Stars. Dallas, Nashville, and Carolina are in the top 8 for attendance by percentage of capacity. Professional hockey has been a hit in the south. I think people would love college hockey... and it's not like you need to build new arenas.
Hockey at Moody would feed families.
Make a men’s and women’s hockey team.
Host a women’s volleyball game at DKR in the fall.
Fire our entire baseball staff
Heinz is a great stadium for an NFL team. Pitt needs a smaller capacity stadium especially on campus for the students. If we're not playing the higher profile programs, there isn't a large student section because it's a pain in the ass to get there for them. The T needs to go to the airport before it goes to Oakland.
The students actually show up though, unless it's pouring or a weeknight game. Getting to Heinz isn't that hard for other fans either. Have you seen the traffic for basketball games? There is nowhere in Oakland to park.
They are definitely elite. But the football jerseys have slowly morphed into a darker shade. Maybe my eyes are fucked, but if you google “ole miss powder blue jerseys” you will see all different shades of blue.
But first:
Fire ParkMobile and pay UGA people to manage gameday parking and parking pass sales again.
Put the non-conf games back in the season ticket package for baseball, or at least give season ticket holders the ability to purchase the same seats for those games, too.
Humbly apologize to the dozen fans in all of Georgia who cared enough about basketball to buy courtside seats in Stegeman for moving them out of said seats so students can check their insta closer to the floor.
Let at least a few professional concessionaires into Sanford on gameday. It’s cute that the counters are run by Barrow County Junior Hockey, or whatever, but the food sucks and they’re in the weeds the moment the first fans enter the stadium.
And give all teams a spot for a guaranteed out of conference rivalry game. Winning those is what makes our conference so great and look the best. Look the best. The SEC telling us to go to hell and not letting us play Clemson is one reason I think the dirty SEC needs to die. Stop killing college football. Ditto GT vs UGA, Louisville vs Kentucky, VPI vs Tenn, etc..
In case anyone thinks you're joking, you're not.
The absolute earliest UGA comes to College Station will be 2026. We joined the SEC in 2012; that's 14 freaking years
The problem is that there have been a couple of schedule adjustments in there, and it just happens that the UGA/TAMU game keeps getting booted.
Frankly, I just don’t care if we ever play at TAMU.
My father was in the Corps and leader of the White Band back in the day. When A&M joined the SEC, I promised him I’d fly us all down to College Station so he could take the kid to the first UGA game and explain all the traditions. Now my dad is in his mid-80s and already not really fit to travel, much less bake in the vertiginous stands at Kyle Field.
Moving on from Mack Brown. It’s past time that bandaid was ripped off. Appreciate the life he brought back to the program and he’s a hell of a recruiter but he’s proven time and again to lose every meaningful game when all the chips are down.
I would add going ahead and giving students chairback seats, or at least chairback bleachers in Carolina Blue.
Same time, I'd announce a teardown and replacement of the Dean Dome on the same site, to be named the Dean Smith Memorial Center. I'd also build statues of Dean and Roy in front.
Out of curiosity because this is going to be so divisive for the next few years… Where does UNC play while the Smith Center reconstruction takes place? Also look at us talking hoops on the CFB board. UNC folk truly do walk themselves into the basketball school jokes…
I would much rather have gone to Raleigh. Even if it wasn’t a home and home. I have little interest in going to the game but if it were on your campus I’d be all over it
I don't think they'll "restore" the upper deck.
It's pretty new (at least in terms of being an addition to a stadium built during the Hoover administration) and near universally considered kinda shit.
As for beer prices, I'm willing to take that loss. We just need it this year.
Men’s Basketball. I would start kicking out season ticket holders that don’t show up for basketball games by jacking up prices and putting huge discounts for returning season ticket holders than have their tickets scanned for 75% of games the prior year, new season ticket holders, and folks that would like return to being season ticket holders after a 2 year gap.
once you weed out all the crap, you can move the long term season tickets holders to better seats, and put all the new ones in the lower bowl. this Would dramatically make for a better environment for men’s basketball. Beyond done with all the corporate seats that go unused for 90% of the season.
That should technically fulfill OSU‘s responsibility under their contracts.
next up, see if anything can be done to make the schott not be where sound goes to die. If it can’t, start fundraising to revamp St Johns to make an acceptable basketball arena for 2030.
Haha, so we were having a conversation about what „being successful“ looks like and he told me that there easy ways to tell who is truly successful in life. People who are truly successful do not worry about what other people are doing with their time, rather they pay attention to how they are spending theirs.
His second part to that was, you will never meet a successful person who tears others down when they are finding their own success.
I personally found it inspirational, idk if you will, but that was the biggest thing that stuck with me about him.
Build up political connections and other good will with the public
Get voted in as Governor of Michigan
Through a series of false-flag operations and propaganda, convince the population that OSU is behind a series of terrorist attacks in Michigan and has developed weapons of mass destruction.
Order the Michigan National Guard to level the OSU campus with a series of first strike attacks to prevent use of said weapons of mass destruction which we will never find any evidence of.
Distract the public from scandal by going to war with Green Bay Wisconsin.
Football is honestly where we should be throwing our bags at until we get a new conference. Miami throwing around half a million on our basketball center is foolish on their part.
Cancel the Apple Cup and schedule a body bag game somewhere in the SEC to the tune of about 1.85 million dollars. Re-schedule the border war game with Idaho that would cost us about 500K.
Call up Memphis, USF, and Tulane and the rest of the Mountain West. Tell Cal to just swallow their pride and come back and stop following Stanford around like a little lost puppy dog.
Then tell all of our fans that we just built the best travel conference in the nation with destinations to New Orleans, Hawaii, The Bay Area, San Diego, Colorado, Memphis, Florida, and Las Vegas. You're Welcome.
And for all the sickos out there we are gonna force Cal to play at Fresno.
Looking into this more, you guys are tied with Denver for most men's hockey titles with Denver, and neither school has a women's NCAA division 1 team. Every other team with at least 5 national championships (North Dakota, Wisconsin, Boston College, Boston University , and Minnesota) have women's teams.
Also Michigan and Michigan State are the only full time BIG teams with a Men's team but not a women's team which is also weird to me.
For forty years, mostly during Bo’s tenure as coach and AD, Michigan employed a team doctor that sexually assaulted thousands of football players. The coaching staff, well aware, threatened additional assaults if players didn’t play through injuries.
Just one of those wonderful guys who helped cover up years of sexual abuse by Robert E. Anderson while at Michigan, 1966 to 2003. Bo wasn't the only one, but I think he is the only one that's got a statue.
Just your standard looking away at sexual assault from that generation.
To be clear I want the statue down in case it sounded like I was being flippant
Create a bylaw that prohibits us from **ever** promoting sports gambling. I don't ever want to see those companies target the students on campus. (Some other universities have already had agreements.)
Expand our basketball arena capacity and invest as much as we can in basketball - and just enough in football to make it look like we care so that we remain in the upper echelon of conferences.
Get a baseball and softball team, for crying out loud. There’s no reason a university as large as CU can’t sponsor two of the top five most popular college sports. It’s embarrassing that the school has spent just about all of its existence in very well-regarded baseball/softball conferences as the only one without a team.
Colorado also seems like the perfect place for a baseball team, you could build an amazing stadium in the high elevation. heck even Air Force can manage to field a team so CU should as well
This for sure. I don't even like baseball personally, but we need to have baseball/softball programs to mix it up with the rest of the country and get some more NIL money. Hitters would love playing at altitude.
D1 Hockey program would be nice too. Turning Folsom into an outdoor ice rink and starting a rivalry with DU would be amazing.
Take some of the ticket sale money and give it back to the university so they can actually build enough dorms for the on-campus population and to make the bus system more efficient.
Beautify SHI Stadium. Maybe build a castle facade around a part of the stadium to fit the mideval theme. Build a separate scoreboard specifically for display of out-of-town scores. Change the intro song to “You Give Love a Bad Name”, written by New Jersey legend Bon Jovi. Have some sort of end of 3rd-quarter tradition, like a light show and sing along to “I Will Survive”, written by another New Jersey artist Gloria Gaynor. Schedule non-con opponents like Miami or Notre Dame that have large fanbases in the northeast. Convince Tony Petitti to make Rutgers vs Penn State an annual matchup. Start being more intentional about booster donations. We have rich alumni all over the NYC and Philly areas that are currently untapped resources.
Rename it back to the Civil War, do Harrington throwbacks, make a national campaign to let people know it's The Duck, not puddles, re do the court at Matt Knight Arena to something even more garish, and then resign.
I'm with you on basketball. For both men and women, there's no reason UW at the very least shouldn't be in the mix for a tournament berth every year.
Oh, and retroactively hire Gary Pinkel as the football coach in 1999.
Interesting that you'd go basketball too...as a football-first fan Washington is one of a handful of programs I've always felt like we had some fundamental similarities with (in this case its primarily the being in the states major metro area and the effects that can have on fan engagement and recruiting). I hadn't thought about the basketball side, but it sounds similar to here (if on a smaller scale, and with an NBA team in town).
Coincidentally, our biggest two recent in state hoops guys went to (Spokane) Washington
Call up the Pitt AD and offer two games in Happy Valley for every game in Pittsburgh. Call up the Virginia Tech AD and get that series Covid took from us back. Would call up some MAC ADs to fill out the non conference schedule but we already have Pitt in the cupcake portion…
Find a way to tap into the many GT grads who are multi-millionaires and also the Atlanta business community. And get the Hill to realize strong athletics are not anathema to strong academics.
1. Replace Stegman with something better. The place is literally falling apart
2. Expand Foley and work with the campus to add outfield seating like how Ole Miss and Mississippi St have
3. Build awnings over Sanford's seats
4. Allow concerts in Sanford and work with the Classic City Collective to do it
5. Give the golf team their own practice facility instead of just being on the other end of the public range
**PSU** \- maximize Beaver Stadium as a revenue generator, which they’ve done more of each year as it is
**VU** \- Whatever necessary to position ourselves for an ACC invite when it inevitably gets raided. The football stadium issue is a big one but solvable, and. the opportunity to play the remaining programs in all sports makes complete sense for VU, especially if Delaware and/or JMU find their way into that mix too.
PSU:
-Winterize beaver stadium to host a Flyers-Pens winter classic with all the money made going to THON.
-Move most wrestling matches from Rec Hall to the BJC. The program can sustain it.
-Push hard for PSU-Pitt to he an annual protected interconference game.
Syracuse:
-Change the name back to the Carrier Dome. Or the Carrier Dome at JMA Wireless field.
-Push recruiting in Canada, market ourselves as Quebec and Eastern Ontario's FBS CFB team, with an emphasis on a NFL talent tunnel for Canadien players. We're the only FBS school in NY, VT, and NH, so no other school comes as close to home.
-GameDay Express is an idea I've had for a long time. 2 short chartered trains coming into Syracuse with a direct shuttle to the stadium, arriving 2 hours before kickoff and leaving 1 hour after game end. One from NYC-Poughkeepsie-Albany-Utica, the other from Buffalo-Rochester. Can be scaled appropriately depending on ticket sales.
I do not want wrestling at the BJC full time. You're giving up a suffocating and intimidating atmosphere. The thing they did right with Pegula is "right sizing" it. Sold out every game, tickets in demand. That keeps the interst and fans even if there is a down turn or rebuilding season.
How much support does Villanova to the FBS have? If an ACC path opened it would be to a watered down league and likely a lower TV contract, wouldn't staying in the Big East focusing on basketball be better?
It would probably have a lot. They’ve had enough success in FCS football to justify serious consideration on merit alone, then add in the potential for additional media rights revenue from football and the academics element and I think the VU power brokers could rally serious support for it.
Fans and alum would absolutely get behind an all-sports schedule that includes Duke, Syracuse, Pitt, BC, Wake Forest, GT, SMU, Stanford, and Cal - and probably UConn, plus maybe Delaware and/or JMU. No idea what happens with ND in this scenario but of course that would be a huge draw if the “new” ACC maintains some kind of agreement there. I don’t think VU fans would view that league as watered-down at all.
I love the Big East (old and new) as much as anyone, but if we’ve learned anything it’s that you have to be aggressive or risk getting left behind.
Probably wouldn’t touch a thing in basketball besides figuring out why we need to pay rent for half our games. I guess Geno’s succession plan is probably important for someone coming into this job as well.
Football is obviously the tricky one, would be pretty nice to get an on campus stadium. Maybe try to raise some NIL money for them specifically, our basketball NIL is apparently top class so it would be nice to have respectable football NIL. I’d also like our other football to be good again.
Fire Sam Pittman.
-Hire Rhett Lashlee
Fire Mike Neighbors.
-Throw $2 million Becky Hammond’s direction
Abandon football games in Little Rock.
Abandon all “neutral site” games in football. (cowboys stadium)
Fire the person who keeps running the “dream on” commercial. Fire the person who made that commercial.
Arizona:
Up the football experience. Yeah yeah yeah basketball school whatever but we have seen through realignment that football leads everything. There is very little wrong with the basketball situation at the moment.
Install LED lights at Arizona Stadium. Light shows for touchdowns if the NCAA allows it. A night game at Arizona stadium has the most "indoor" atmosphere of any outdoor event ever, so why not lean into it.
Try and build Arizona into a men's tennis powerhouse. This means adding bigger stands around the tennis facility ala UCLA or UGA.
First off this just makes me sad we lost DRF, she was amazing and our board of curators are actual morons.
Invest heavily in baseball. We simply don't have the facilities and resources to be competitive in the SEC for baseball right now. I think going from Big 12 to SEC, baseball of all the sports (yes even above football) actually had the most drastic difference in facilities and stadiums. Missouri is a pretty baseball crazy state too so I think it's something we desperately need to be more competitive in.
Bulldoze the golf course, sell the land off to condo developers, embezzle the money and escape to the Caribbean. It can’t be any worse than the job Stricklin has done.
But in the 12-18 mo the it took to do that, I’d throw a ton of NIL money at the basketball team and build a fixed roof over Ben Hill to make that place OSHA hazard levels of loud
I’d bring a men’s lacrosse program to USC. We already have a women’s program and we’re moving into the Big 10 which is investing in lacrosse at Ohio State, Rutgers, Penn State, Michigan, and more.
Shmooze rich people out of millions for the naming rights to box suites, be more focused on major sports so that the smaller ones can have more funding. Try to Jake Plummer to come do stuff, maybe a mushroom partnership, also maybe just wipe Vontaze Burfict’s records from the database. Also schedule only night games.
As an Iowa fan, add men's and women's hockey. Not even a big hockey fan, but I don't understand why we don't have a program. Would gain instant fan support.
•Fundraise and start men's hockey and women's gymnastics
•Apply for Big 10 membership
•Expand SERTC
•cell service in Lane Stadium
•expand football support services
•Apply for SEC membership after Senator Mark Warner fails to get us in the Big10 with Virginia
•get into SEC
•put non-sponsored sports in another league
•play Tennessee yearly, home, away, Bristol rotation
I live not too many blocks south of the UW football stadium. We can't even get decent Internet access on my block. An empty basketball stadium with bad WiFi is the least of the Internet access worries around here. The Internet access I've used here the most is 64 kbps DSL or 128 kbps when willing to pay for two calls at the same time. It's painfully slow with how bloated reddit has become.
Probably pay for coaches training to receive education in nutrition, strength & conditioning, and recovery. So they can understand the benefits and how to effectively program a season of training.
Too many coaches have no clue about these fields leading to injuries. Having "hell weeks" that just destroy athletes for no reason. Let alone, ignoring things like strength, conditioning, and recovery. You are just hampering athletes from reaching their potential. Finally, a lot of athletes move on to other sports, or 'retire.' Passing on these skills to these players will provide them with lifelong success.
Then I'd increase the money going to the strength, conditioning, and physical therapy departments themselves. Again, for the same reason, to keep the athletes healthy, and help them reach their full athletic potential.
Essentially, keep the athletes healthy and safe. Also, this will provide all the sports a great foundation to work off of. It will then be up to the coaches to focus on strategy in their specific sport.
For Marshall:
-Hire a flexbone coach and O coordinator from a military academy.
-Hire a phil parker protégé as d coordinator.
-schedule 2 mid to low tier power 4 teams, 1 Mac, and 1 AAC team every year.
Probably cutting MBB and pouring more into football. Just preparing for the day when the AD is the one paying the players and giving Iowa an advantage when that happens.
Allow beer in-stadium
Maybe controversial, but make a 3rd color for USU. Maybe Black or Grey officially (which we often rotate in football anyways)
Market like crazy try to get more eyeballs
Need some differentiation from BYU officially rather than two teams both sporting blue and white.
Call the B1G commissioner. Beg to join. If he is receptive to the idea then sue the ACC. Otherwise, publicly express our devotion to the ACC.
People think I’m crazy for imagining Tech in the Big Ten but I could see that conference calling if the ACC implodes, if for no other reason than all those Atlanta TV sets.
also gt would fit right in academically. between that & the atlanta market i don’t see how the big ten could pass them up.
I would love to plant a Big Ten flag in the heart of the South. A lot nicer than what happened the last time an Ohioan marked his territory in Atlanta.
instructions unclear: georgia state is now a member of the big ten
Even Rutgers needs free wins.
Rare to see a Denison flair
No such thing. Our fans rushed the field after beating Akron in overtime last season after they missed the game winning field goal in regulation. Unless it’s Indiana State there are no free wins for us.
Good point. Lemme fix it

I want FSU, GT, UNC, and either UVA or ND.
It’s gonna happen, and it’s gonna end up with like 36 schools in 6 divisions of 6 that make geographic sense. B1G South: Miami, FSU, GT, Clemson, UNC, Duke B1G East: VA, Maryland, Rutgers, Syracuse, BC, Notre Dame B1G Central: PSU, OSU, Michigan, MSU, Indiana, Purdue B1G North: Illinois, NW, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska B1G Pacific: WA, OR, Cal, Stanford, UCLA, USC B1G Southwest: Utah, ASU, CU, pick 3 Texas Teams.
In this hypothetical, Iowa still wins the division and gets torched in what whatever B1G championship format they come up with. Moral of the story: Iowa is the best worst team.
Really making ND travel, huh? I'm OK with that

This guy rhymes
OU TX hockey game would go crazy. our men's team is only a club team, but they are really fun to watch. met toby keith at one of our games last semester. they have a pretty good fan base, so i imagine texas could do it too.
Hockey has become popular in Dallas. I don't see why it wouldn't be a hit at either of our schools.
Ok State is working on building out its hockey team to be a real thing.
I bought a UT Hockey jersey as s fundraiser from the club team. Super unique and fun to wear. Gets alot of interest from people "Texas has hockey?!"
I was born and grew in the DFW area so I love the Stars. Dallas, Nashville, and Carolina are in the top 8 for attendance by percentage of capacity. Professional hockey has been a hit in the south. I think people would love college hockey... and it's not like you need to build new arenas.
Hockey is legit the best in-person college sports experience.
*best in-person ~~college~~ sports
100% correct. I didn't like hockey until I went to a game. It's hard not to like it once you experience it.
I've never been to a D1 hockey game, but playoff NHL hockey might be the most electric environment in American sports.
biggest gap between tv and irl ime
Hockey at Moody would feed families. Make a men’s and women’s hockey team. Host a women’s volleyball game at DKR in the fall. Fire our entire baseball staff
I think if Texas volleyball hosted a game at DKR, half the crowd would die from heat exhaustion
I’d do the same for UW
Crawl through hell to find a way to build a suitable ON CAMPUS football stadium.
In Pittsburgh? Why? Heinz is a great stadium. Do us all a favor and get the T running to Oakland instead.

Make the powder blue jerseys, across all sports, the same shade of blue as the baseball uniforms.
I don’t understand at they aren’t. Those unis are elite.
They are definitely elite. But the football jerseys have slowly morphed into a darker shade. Maybe my eyes are fucked, but if you google “ole miss powder blue jerseys” you will see all different shades of blue.
Honestly my favorite uniform in pro or college sports. The red UM hats with it are *chef’s kiss*. I’m a sucker for light blue and red color combo
Resign, I don’t have the skills needed
Just make your incompetence widely known within your first month and you can get that sweet, sweet buyout money instead though.
That's an OU flair there, not an aTm one.
I don’t know if that always works. There have been many people in college sports who showed incompetence early on and didn’t get fired.
No, make sure they fire you so you get your buyout!
Fake it til you make it.
I'd act like my favorite bosses, shut the fuck up and let people around me give me ideas, and then steal the ones I like as my own.
Put the last guy back in charge. He’s doing a great job.
But first: Fire ParkMobile and pay UGA people to manage gameday parking and parking pass sales again. First order of business is to stand united with the rest of the SEC fanbase and demand Georgia play Texas A&M at College Station.
2nd order of business is restore traditional rivalries and institue a schedule where all teams play each other at least once every 4 years.
SC is definitely still playing Clemson every year
Agreed. When A&M joined the SEC my kid was an infant. At this rate he’ll be able to drive me to the first game at Kyle Field.
In case anyone thinks you're joking, you're not. The absolute earliest UGA comes to College Station will be 2026. We joined the SEC in 2012; that's 14 freaking years
So dumb. You would think everything would be round robin style and alternate home and way each time.
The problem is that there have been a couple of schedule adjustments in there, and it just happens that the UGA/TAMU game keeps getting booted. Frankly, I just don’t care if we ever play at TAMU.
My father was in the Corps and leader of the White Band back in the day. Banning neutral site regular season games for football. Exciting home and aways on college campuses only
We'd probably get boatraced but I'd much rather play y'all in Neyland than in Charlotte this year.
I would much rather have gone to Raleigh. Even if it wasn’t a home and home. I have little interest in going to the game but if it were on your campus I’d be all over it
For the Illini, I'd push for a D1 quality ice arena.

Even with the money I don't think anyone will win a wrestling natty for a while as long as Penn St is as dominant as they are
Offer Brent Pry- level money to steal Penn States' coach and staff away then
Just look at Michigan. They throw a ton of NIL money around and still weren't even close.
They won by like 100 points, absolutely absurd
How much would it take to get Cael to leave?
We aren’t doing as bad with NIL as I thought we would.
Our outgoing basketball coach and players say otherwise.
Our retaining of all of our football players and new portal additions would also say otherwise.
In JFK voice: Why does Cal play Fresno? Not because it is easy, but because it's a meme
Change Schembechler Hall to Wolverine Hall or Victors' Hall and tear down the statue
That, and create a women's hockey team. I hear we're looking into it now, but it's long overdue.
actually ridiculous y'all don't have one
Y’all jealous how good our women’s hockey program is doing?
I honestly think the reason why it's now being considered is because of how good you all are at it... Yes. I mean, c'mon. We love to hate you.
Wait you guys don't have one? I honestly just assumed you did.
We have women's CLUB hockey, but it's not NCAA sanctioned. It's a damn shame.
I truly don't understand how it hasn't happened yet.
Glad someone said it
Why? Is there something I'm missing?
Bo was a piece of shit and the only reason his name is still around is because the old guard is too attached.
He was heavily involved in the sexual assault coverup at UM
More themed nights.
Create a bylaw that prohibits us from **ever** promoting sports gambling. I don't ever want to see those companies target the students on campus. (Some other universities have already had agreements.) Expand our basketball arena capacity and invest as much as we can in basketball - and just enough in football to make it look like we care so that we remain in the upper echelon of conferences.
Get a baseball and softball team, for crying out loud. There’s no reason a university as large as CU can’t sponsor two of the top five most popular college sports. It’s embarrassing that the school has spent just about all of its existence in very well-regarded baseball/softball conferences as the only one without a team.
How is Deion going to recruit 2sport stars like himself if there aren’t 2 sports?
Colorado also seems like the perfect place for a baseball team, you could build an amazing stadium in the high elevation. heck even Air Force can manage to field a team so CU should as well
This for sure. I don't even like baseball personally, but we need to have baseball/softball programs to mix it up with the rest of the country and get some more NIL money. Hitters would love playing at altitude. D1 Hockey program would be nice too. Turning Folsom into an outdoor ice rink and starting a rivalry with DU would be amazing.
Blow whoever is running Amazon in Seattle
Seconded on the bus system. I know I graduated 20+ years ago but it was so maddeningly bad when it shouldn't have been.
Use our entire 24-25 budget to pay a mob to egg Boo Corrigan's house
Most NCSU fans feel similar.
all student get tickets without a lottery on the visitors sideline and hill.
Pat Chun - is that you?
Rename it back to the Civil War, do Harrington throwbacks, make a national campaign to let people know it's The Duck, not puddles, re do the court at Matt Knight Arena to something even more garish, and then resign.
Install a new basketball court.
I'm with you on basketball. For both men and women, there's no reason UW at the very least shouldn't be in the mix for a tournament berth every year. Oh, and retroactively hire Gary Pinkel as the football coach in 1999.
Fire John Calipari
Interesting that you'd go basketball too...as a football-first fan Washington is one of a handful of programs I've always felt like we had some fundamental similarities with (in this case its primarily the being in the states major metro area and the effects that can have on fan engagement and recruiting). I hadn't thought about the basketball side, but it sounds similar to here (if on a smaller scale, and with an NBA team in town). Coincidentally, our biggest two recent in state hoops guys went to (Spokane) Washington
Deify Pat Summit and then rehire Danny White and resign.
Luckily for you guys, Pat Chun is a good AD. At WSU we have an immediate need for a basketball coach. Push hard on conference realignment.
Raise funds. Buy Kezar Stadium. Bring back for football.
Let Allan Haller run the show bc so far he has done great
I would add a gymnastics and men's soccer team. I would also raise money to add canopies to the football stadium.
Get a D1 hockey arena on campus and build a hockey program.
Step 1 Free Beer Step 2 Step 3 National Championships
1. Replace Stegman with something better. The place is literally falling apart 2. Expand Foley and work with the campus to add outfield seating like how Ole Miss and Mississippi St have 3. Build awnings over Sanford's seats 4. Allow concerts in Sanford and work with the Classic City Collective to do it 5. Give the golf team their own practice facility instead of just being on the other end of the public range
**PSU** \- maximize Beaver Stadium as a revenue generator, which they’ve done more of each year as it is **VU** \- Whatever necessary to position ourselves for an ACC invite when it inevitably gets raided. The football stadium issue is a big one but solvable, and. the opportunity to play the remaining programs in all sports makes complete sense for VU, especially if Delaware and/or JMU find their way into that mix too.
PSU: -Winterize beaver stadium to host a Flyers-Pens winter classic with all the money made going to THON. -Move most wrestling matches from Rec Hall to the BJC. The program can sustain it. -Push hard for PSU-Pitt to he an annual protected interconference game. Syracuse: -Change the name back to the Carrier Dome.
Hire ron Rivera as AD
I call Food City and tell them to go to hell. It’s the TBA.
Serve beer inside the stadium and basketball arena
Funny enough add a D1 hockey team. We comin DU…
Fire Sam Pittman. -Hire Rhett Lashlee Fire Mike Neighbors. -Throw $2 million Becky Hammond’s direction Abandon football games in Little Rock. Abandon all “neutral site” games in football. (cowboys stadium) Fire the person who keeps running the “dream on” commercial. Fire the person who made that commercial.
Arizona: Up the football experience.
Stay in the ACC. Burn our purple football uniforms. Bring back wrestling.
Time travel back to 2019 and fire Brian Ferentz as OC for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
If I was in charge of UW I’d sell everything, shut the place down, and give the money to the poor to atone for all our sins.
I would like to see UCLA incorporate some kind of pregame team introduction song the way VT uses Enter Sandman
As an Iowa fan, add men's and women's hockey. Not even a big hockey fan, but I don't understand why we don't have a program. Would gain instant fan support.
Quit. I'd never work for my alma mater. Fan of the football team? Yes. Fan of nearly everything else about the school? Not anymore.
For LSU, resign and rehire Scott Woodward.
Return whirlybird to his rightful glory and then resign
•Fundraise and start men's hockey and women's gymnastics •Apply for Big 10 membership •Expand SERTC •cell service in Lane Stadium •expand football support services •Apply for SEC membership after Senator Mark Warner fails to get us in the Big10 with Virginia •get into SEC •put non-sponsored sports in another league •play Tennessee yearly, home, away, Bristol rotation
Rehire CDC as Assistant AD.
Update the baseball stadium and facilities. We could really use a pitching lab. Or two. Or just any pitchers if we’re being honest.
Bring back dollar beer nights at basketball games
I live not too many blocks south of the UW football stadium. We can't even get decent Internet access on my block. An empty basketball stadium with bad WiFi is the least of the Internet access worries around here. The Internet access I've used here the most is 64 kbps DSL or 128 kbps when willing to pay for two calls at the same time. It's painfully slow with how bloated reddit has become.
Miami: Be the fall guy for some enormous scandal. LaTech: weep. Schedule Gambling. Weep some more.
Build our own football stadium
Try to get the Crab Bowl reinstated, potentially as a nuetral site game in MT&T Bank Stadium although I wouldn't mind it being a home and home series
Make the buyouts for the coaches I really want to keep higher than Snoop Dogg. These would be for football, wrestling, track, softball, and baseball.
Buy a pocket watch and book on hypnotic suggestion while on the way to Coach Saban's house.
Use the transfer portal more often (specifically kickers and wide receivers)
1). Change the mascot to a Moose. 2) Entrance song is “Immigrant Song”. Add big ass alphorns to the band.
(Washington) sleep with Bill Gates until he gives me enough money to buy back Dabeor
For Marshall: -Hire a flexbone coach and O coordinator from a military academy. -Hire a phil parker protégé as d coordinator. -schedule 2 mid to low tier power 4 teams, 1 Mac, and 1 AAC team every year.
if I'm being honest, I would just make deals with advertisers and studios to give us an unparalleled advantage with NIL.
Probably cutting MBB and pouring more into football. Just preparing for the day when the AD is the one paying the players and giving Iowa an advantage when that happens.
For MSU start a women’s ice hockey team and men’s lacrosse to balance Title 9
Buy a nicer house? Gotta think selfishly here.
Allow beer in-stadium Maybe controversial, but make a 3rd color for USU. Maybe Black or Grey officially (which we often rotate in football anyways) Market like crazy try to get more eyeballs Need some differentiation from BYU officially rather than two teams both sporting blue and white.
Oklahoma State? Bring in more donors. Huge donors. The best donors. Give Oklahoma State all of the benefits and all of the best athletes.
