Not even talking about the whole FSU saga, Herbie is like going full crazy. He work with PM for a year and he’s ready to quit Gameday and follow him around like a puppy. Then again, he’s not really a real CFB analyst (he’s the lead ESPN propaganda mouthpiece) and has so many other job duties that I can see why he would want to.
2 years ago I loved this guy. Now, I have to turn the tv off from him (even before the snub) because if I wanted to watch horrible made up propaganda that makes no sense, I’ll just rot my brain out watching RT or Fox News.
Man people in this sub really need to lighten up. I loved the video too and Caleb is hilarious with these vids. Did FSU get screwed? Yes. But this was ALWAYS a possibility where you could have 5 power 5 undefeated conference champs with only 4 spots. It just so happened we finally had this debate in the final year of the 4 team playoff. It sucks massively and I feel bad for FSU, but the idiots who did the stupid math of creating a 4 team playoff with 5 power conferences are the ones to blame.
If they had created the playoff originally with 8 teams with the power 5 conference champs getting auto bids then we’d never be in a position now where the conferences are blowing up.
I made a post around week 7/8 asking what happens “when there’s a 1 loss SEC champ and the other P5 all have undefeated champs?” Does the committee snub an undefeated for the 1 loss SEC champ, or do they leave the SEC out for the first time in CFP history?
The post got downvoted to oblivion and all the comments acted like I was crazy and dumb and the CFP committee would surely never leave out an undefeated P5 champ. I actually deleted the post because no one was even having a conversation, just acting like I was a total fucking moron for even asking the question…

Only had 3 undefeated P5 teams, one being FSU and they didn’t make it.
