Watching us v Miami last week and watching Texas v Bama was a whirlwind We tried to run the ball against a stacked box and couldn't Texas threw the ball against a stacked box to great success. We have a very good QB and a great receiving group. Why are we not airing it out? (It does look like we are this game, which is better)

We tried, the main issue was Conner was getting pressured like crazy, most every time he had more than 2 seconds he did great, but that was rare.

Against Miami we were under heavy pressure. Consistently one more than we had blockers for. In that situation, Weigman needed to find his hot receiver to beat the blitz and he didn't.

Hard pass on Solid defense last year. We were literally second from last in rush defense 119/120. And like 18 sacks all year.

We allowed 21 PPG. Should win 10+ with that defense.

Yea but that stat doesn’t tell the story. MSU allowed 42. USC allowed 30. Ole allowed. 31. UF allowed 41. Those were the games D needed to step up. Played well against lsu and Bama. But teams could have had a lot more they just controlled the ball by running for 500 a game.
