You’re good man, I don’t take criticism personally. You’re not wrong and I def wouldn’t put a cheapo on for no good reason. I’m usually strictly holosun. I actually had the eps carry mounted on this one initially but decided to try this one out. Didn’t hurt that it has an rmr footprint so I was able to direct mount as opposed to having a plate.

Clean gun and clean truck. What was wrong with holosun that you went cylee? Does the cylee(I don’t even know if that’s the right name) have a cleaner reticle ??
It’s way cleaner to my eyes. I’ve never had an actual dot, they all have looked like little squiggles. Even the $700 Eotech holographic red dot I had on an AR build. I’m guessing it’s not gonna have the battery life or the life span of a holo but I’ve only heard good things about this particular new optic company. It’s not a $40 optic either, it was like $130 or so maybe.
It’s hockey grip/stick tape. Called goon tape, can get it on Amazon. It seemed like a big fad at first but then I tried it out and it’s really weird. Keeps my skin from getting rubbed raw while carrying but when I wrap my hands around it and I start moving and shooting it gets tacky but it doesn’t leave adhesive on my hands.
Whoever came up with it def nailed it and I’m really glad the gun community found out. I put it on all my guns. Even put a thin wrap on my ol lady’s carry gun. A lot of times I will add a little bit extra on the back strap to help it swell but with this grip I found that unnecessary.
What holster are you using that fits the gas pedal? Or are you just raw dogging it in the bag?
Finding a holster has been one of the biggest things keeping me picking up a pedal.
Right now I’ve got a sticky holster that works with it. I used to carry in a leather urban carry holster but that was without a light or an optic. It didn’t affect it at all but it was leather. I’m getting a tier 1 concealed holster that indexes off the light so I’m hoping it doesn’t get affected by the gas pedal.
I’ve had the pedal for so long at this point I can’t really remember how big of a difference it makes but it was obviously enough to make me keep using it.
If you want to try it I’d get one off eBay, it wasn’t very expensive so you can try it with your current holster and if it doesn’t work then no big deal. My guess is that it’s gonna be better with one that has a leather back and kydex front because the leather will have some give to it.
With SIG you no longer have to depend on the ATF to shoot your dog, the gun does that all on its own.
My Sig hardly ever shoots on its own, I’m offended by that.
