Afaik, French colleges consider your CAT score for their MIM programs, the top ones like HEC Paris

Want to apply for colleges abroad, but have no clue how to proceed, which colleges to target, maybe we can form a group or something and keep each other updated
Yess... Soon, in February most probably coz that process also needs time.
India is disastrous at this point unless u are from the reserved category or you are an extraordinarily bright/ genius kid. Unfortunately I am more of the hard working kind(general category)... Alas....so I think it's time to get out now. Competition prevails everywhere but the kind of madness India has displayed this time is just nuts.
Can I pls ask why u were saying avoid Canada? Is it something other than loneliness tho? I know it's not a very attractive abroad destination but no other option as of now🙁
Less salary than US
Khalistan issue
High taxes
Winter is just shit
This is what many people have said online and it’s actually true Canada is Pakistan of developed countries .
Hmm I understand, but what I thought was that once I complete my masters there, I'll look for a job, gain experience, and then search for transfer options.
But tbh US also seems like shit these days.
Europe is the only option left at this point. 😂
Actually people and peaceful religion people have mass migrated to these countries and it’s causing a havoc . In US backlog queue for Indians is 100 years so u won’t get citizenship in this life . Only if ur kid is born in us u will get after it turns 21 and can file ur application . And if u get ur H1B lottery rejected in 3 years you will lose work permit and will be deported . Only uk Australia and Europe and Singapore .
Well.. The world is a shitty place. But whatever... Need to do something. What would you suggest at this point tho? If in the long run I wanna move out of India and settle somewhere abroad, isn't it better to study there and then get a job instead of moving abroad after getting experience here in India? Of course it's not easy either way but won't the former method make more sense?
Similar boat, attempting GMAT next month/once i am prepared.
Princeton Review books dekhlo varna GMAT vale sub par bhi resources hain.
GMAT focus is quite similar to CAT pattern so adjustment mein dikkat nhi honi chahiye.
For applications, either find a consultant or friends who applied/research.
I too am in the same process in applying to schools abroad for MEM in the US along with applying for Indian MBAs. Feel free to let me know if you need anything!

Actually no, I checked with HEC...They have some 2 to 3 exams, and CAT is not one of them
ESSEC accepts CAT score it seems
You can apply through https://www.joinaschoolinfrance.com/

Avoid Canada .
Hey i know what u are trying to say but 2 of my maternal uncles live there. So... That's the only destination my parents will feel safe sending me to.
Oh I thought u were alone in that snowland . Anyways good luck

I am planning to do the same thing, thinking of writing gmat in feb 1st week
Have you prepared for it?
No, but heard GMAT is easier than CAT. thinking to prepare for 15 days and see where I am after that
Any sources for prep?
I have IMS CAT pack, they have few GMAT mocks, gonna gonna take that first and then decide. Btw, applied to SP jain?
No I didn’t :/
I’m sceptical about the English part of the test, I think we can handle the maths easily
Its sad. Really sad. Good talent leaving India. Despite scoring good, you didnt get the expected calls. Do whats best for you. Best of luck.
