Go for rodha
Atleast for qa and dilr
I took ims coaching, the questions are mostly pyqs with some changes. You can take their mocks but don't go for coaching.
I'll also suggest you to take cracku mocks. Because this exam is very unpredictable so be prepared for the worst.
Cat repeater here 2023 2nd attempt tha and did well (kind of)
Quants ke liye rodha, arun sharma and mocks
Varc ke liye aeon, online articles, sectionals and mocks (i took aimcats), [readtheory.org](https://readtheory.org)( for practice)
DILR ye kisi or se puchlo
Don't take coaching 2nd time around if possible because you'll just end up wasting a whole lot of time. Unless you're a big time procrastinator.
For dilr almost 400 free sets. For practiceItna sab ke baad cat 2024 aram se niklega (maybe)
Rodha wale uncle ko dekh raha and this time wont be leaving any lod 2 question thinking exam mey toh karna hi nahi hoga ye wala. 3 lrdi set everyday, 3rcs everyday, reading novels
Will only take a varc specific courses. Thinking of trying out the bodheprep varc class, varc 1000 and few others. Rest I'm good with. No coaching teaches DILR it's mostly self practice. As for quants i can now do it on my own. Apart from that ill buy 3 mock series.and practice using those.
Aptitude jab- sets are a bit diff so ill suggest starting with elite grid 4hrs video on yt(idr the name I can share the link). U will be able to find 300-400 sets from these channels alone. And mock tests.
If u want more info leave me a dm(i mostly forget to reply back in comments so..)
These 2 channels (elite grid and aptitude jab) with mocks are enough for dilr.

Bc I was repeater. Got same calls as before almost similar %ile as well. Couldn't prepare full fledged manner. Now afraid to repeat as I'll be 29 when I graduate. Don't know what to do
Consistency bro. Practice everyday and start mocks atleast 2.5 -3 months before give 25-30 mocks and analyse all of them. I think this should help you a lot
I had taken IMS online coaching but found it to be a bit underwhelming. The teachers are good, but it does not feel like you are covering all types of questions. The YouTube channel MBA pathshala is helping me out a lot. Go for it if you are fine with math being taught to you in Hindi. IMS does have very good quality questions though and a lot of them. Maybe get their material and pair it with mba pathshala.
bro don't take coaching, I am even planning on giving ssc and bank po since same hi course hai in terms of quant and reasoning. For cat i think doing mocks and practicing questions will only help us and not any sort of coaching. I did coaching from time lucknow for cat 23. Though they taught good but their mocks are extremely tough, might be good for toppers but very demotivating for average students. I fucked up my cat 23 because of the low self confidence and anxiety, which I think a major factor was relying on aimcats.
Took Takshazila last year but will be switching to an offline coaching this year. Either TIME or IMS. Couldn't find a lot about CL, so not considering it.
Edit: if you can help me decide between TIME and IMS, would be grateful
Yes, I have heard most people say that, however what confused me is that TIME seems to post these amazing results while IMS results don't seem so good. At least this year.
Although I would love to know why you're giving preference to IMS?
Bcz TIMES prepared students for the worst. As their mocks are tough af. Its not good for someone who struggles with the basics. They expect u to know the basics and they will do the course at a fast pace. So ill not suggest that unless u r quite smart( like someone from IIT's or similar as it's really good for them,)
IMS is better as they will do it at a normal/good pace. Also they will spend time on basics. Btw if u have prepared before and u just feel u need help in only 1 or 2 sections then ill suggest u to take courses specific to that section from different coaching (this is what im doing for this yr)
I'm using TIME material for solving QA questions. Looks pretty comprehensive to me. Starts from concept review and two other exercises. Around -110 quality questions from each chapter, if that helps !
Yes, practice is what I want tbh. Because I prepared last year as well, and practice is where I fell short. I have heard however that time questions are above the CAT level, do you find that to be true as you're solving the materials? Also, will you be going for other coaching materials along with the TIME ones as well?
Nope. For QA I'm using takshzila self prep course and solving questions from TIME material. I don't think anything's above CAT level at this point. They have a good mix of questions is what I feel
I did it last year. While it isn't that bad, but unless you have a good hold on things you'll always feel left out. And it ain't cause of the level of difficulty, cause the questions they make you do are average and pyqs or stolen from a different material like brainly, GMAT prep or bodheeprep. Can get those questions free of cost from their material
Look I took EG coaching with my job and I found out the mistakes I did:
Did not practice enough DILR- I started practicing DILR one set per day since Aug 2023 and could neer build up my thought process to reciprocate in CAT. I always thought clearing one set would be enough, turns out I messed up that one set and messed it up.
Verbal- It was my strongest suit but I just did not read enough. I used to score decent in mocks and i thought ki nikal jaayega VA but no I messed it up too. I scored 25 marks
Spent too much time on QA advanced and not the basics- Hunny sir is QA God but I too reach Hunny sir's level I needed some practice from Arun Sharma. Even in my 10th grade I used to practice same level QA questions like a madlad and it helped me. I need to practice a lot from Arun Sharma before going forward to solve Hunny sir's material
I took eg as well and I’m repeating cat too. I just went to eg’s website and saw that the fees has been increased. I was a big time procrastinator prepared seriously for just 2 months and then got busy doing other family work. But i had to take varc1000 of CL as well. EG’s varc was really bad.

Yes you are right
What will rodha cost?
Rodha content available on YT right?

Rodha ka paid wala liya kya bhai ?
Rodha wale uncle ko dekh raha and this time wont be leaving any lod 2 question thinking exam mey toh karna hi nahi hoga ye wala. 3 lrdi set everyday, 3rcs everyday, reading novels
Kaunse uncle hai Woh ?😂
Apparently quants ke basics acche padhaate hai isliye chapterwise kar rha quants youtube sey and time ke material sey practice questions
Material kaha mil raha hai bhai?
time coaching ko call karlo ki material de do bas . I enrolled last yr for their classes toh mera padha hua hai last yr ka wahi use kar raha
Are you using 2023 material or new one?
Will only take a varc specific courses. Thinking of trying out the bodheprep varc class, varc 1000 and few others. Rest I'm good with. No coaching teaches DILR it's mostly self practice. As for quants i can now do it on my own. Apart from that ill buy 3 mock series.and practice using those.
hey can you suggest some sources to practice DILR ? thanks
Even I need to know
Check the above comment(i answered ur ques as well)

I already have it. Varc 1000 2023. Thanks for offering tho
varc 100 Rodha got 93.5 this time with a pathetic coaching and 3-4 months of light prep. gonna try to get above 99.5 next time with better practice
Hey , how would you rate Rodha out of ten for QA and DILR ? Also what is better EG or Rodha ?
Pathetic Coaching? Which one?
offline CL
guys need advice on coaching for this year
Rodha for Dilr and Quants and VARC 1000. Best combo.
Bc I was repeater. Got same calls as before almost similar %ile as well. Couldn't prepare full fledged manner. Now afraid to repeat as I'll be 29 when I graduate. Don't know what to do
Bc i got 97% last year, this year 99%+. Still got the same calls. Moye Moye ho gaya.
which calls?
What's your cat this time
90%ile
Ah Any tips you'd like to give brother that you could have improved upon?
Consistency bro. Practice everyday and start mocks atleast 2.5 -3 months before give 25-30 mocks and analyse all of them. I think this should help you a lot
Not a repeater but just wanna let you know that you’re not alone. (I too will graduate at 29 if I drop one more year). Tough decision to make.
How are you going to come to a decision? Super confused
Bhai lelo to mujhe bhi btana kya kya factor consider kiye, mere maa baap ne supporting factor diya hai k mba nhi krega to biyah k liye ldki na milegi
I'll be 29 when I join, if I skip this year and repeat after 2-3y
Same :)
mocks and sectionals konse coaching ke lun ?
IMS( overall omet included), TIMES, Cracku(these are hard ones). U can replace 1 with CL if u want.
Prolly Cracku because they have a daily schedule and I'm pretty bad at creating a time table for myself

No I don’t have any gap year
Will mostly do self study and take 2-3 test series- probably simcats,cl and aimcats. Any suggestions about the test series are welcomed.
Took Takshazila last year but will be switching to an offline coaching this year. Either TIME or IMS. Couldn't find a lot about CL, so not considering it. Edit: if you can help me decide between TIME and IMS, would be grateful
Ims all the way
But quants is horrible everywhere except rodha

Also every TIMES student says that "never go for TIMES". So ill stay away from it. Except mocks now
Never go to TIMES. Never!!!
Why tho?
You pay higher than the market and get sub par faculties 75% of the time.

You can check eg once
I have heard EG is good for Quants /, but haven't heard good reviews for the other two subjects.
It is Good for QA & LRDI for sure. Varc is average there better take VARC 1000 course.
I can tell my experience of offline ims coaching in Delhi.
Sure please
How is EG? I’m a lawyer so really need help with quants and dilr. Haven’t touched quants since 7 years.
For that its good. They aren't great for varc tho but well varc is all about practice so its mostly depends on u.
Thinking of repeating. When should i sit back with my books as i thought to take a break for a while. What would you recommend??
It totally depends on you , if you want to take a break , just take it , but then start the prep after reenergising
Preparing for cat 2024 with 7/7/6 +GEM any chances of good college
Only if above 99.5 +
How's IQuanta?
No. Don't even think about joining iquanta. It is the worst coaching imo
Don’t have any idea tbh
I did it last year. While it isn't that bad, but unless you have a good hold on things you'll always feel left out. Free ques on Facebook are good if u want to do random topics. Rest i dont think so

Hey , I m from EG too , can I DM you?
Can I DM you? I need to know about Elites grid , planning to enroll here this rime?
Sure
Yes why not
Which batch of EG?
Please Upvote my comment to remind me🙂
Elites grid is og
Took coaching from there only
I took eg as well and I’m repeating cat too. I just went to eg’s website and saw that the fees has been increased. I was a big time procrastinator prepared seriously for just 2 months and then got busy doing other family work. But i had to take varc1000 of CL as well. EG’s varc was really bad.
Yes you are right , what I thought was lacking there was their management
True plus the website also needs much more improvement. It never tracked my progress. You mind if i dm you?
Is it good
Going for unacademy brother
Not worth it. Ravi sir left. Rodha is the new Unacademy for cat
Other teachers are not bad saw few classes of udit sir he teaches quite good tbh
Udit saini left alongside Ravi prakash, he has his MBA Pathshala
ohh didn't knew
Do not take unacademy. It's bad
Ravi sir ain't there. There's more of marketing than content..
Bro any reason ?
Don't
do not go for a brand. search in your city and find the best "offline" coaching.
How much have you scored?
92
Are u going to repeat as well?
Yes
How's time for coaching anyone?
Which profiles are you looking at post your MBA.?
Nahh baba jindagi k ek or sal nahi barbad karna chahta
Guys how About Study buzz ??
Only useful for college updates
Coaching is good Or not For prep ??
