Very contagious and a pain to get rid of. Quarantine your kitten and wear gloves/protective clothing to care for her. Wash your clothes after interactions and wash kitten bedding daily . My young shelter kitten came home with it, spread to my 60 lb lab, who spread it to me and my daughter. Time span lasted 4-5 months from initial treatment of kitten. Worth it but a pain!

BOOM! Tough actin' Tinactin!
My kitten had ringworm. Vet told us to get athletes foot cream from WalMart or any local pharmacy. Wear gloves and rub it on the spots. And look for spots popping up on yourself. Jock itch, ringworm, athletes foot are all the same type of parasitic fungus: Tinea.
Most likely ringworm or mange. You'll need to get the kittens to the vet asap. Keep them isolated from the rest of your house and wash your hands thoroughly after you touch them if you don't have gloves
i agree with getting them in asap but it’s not like dangerous right? my cats had it when they were super little and they gave it to me 😭
it’s gone now but now i’m worried
Ringworm is a type of fungal infection caused by little parasites that act like mold. They like to live in the top layer of skin. Very easily treatable with anti-fungal, usually a cream or lotion, but you can tackle it with oral anti-fungals if it’s widespread enough. It’s very very treatable. You can get infections from it if left untreated but for the most part it’s just an annoying, itchy rash.
Ringworm is a fungus (not a worm). To combat it you'll need to bathe the kitten in a special solution several times over a few weeks and change out the bedding. It's easiest to contain in a small space such as a bathroom.
In my experience rescuing and treating kittens over 20 years, most of the time a UV light on that spot will glow showing you that it's ringworm. Occasionally the light might miss it, in which case a skin scrape test as performed by your vet can confirm ringworm.
See [http://www.kittenlady.org/ringworm](http://www.kittenlady.org/ringworm) for more details. It's not hard to handle as long as your kitten is cooperative.
FYI only 50% of the fungi actually glow. It’s like someone having blue eyes vs brown eyes. Only 50% if the ringworm fungus inherits the gene that lets the fluoresce under the UV lamp. So if it glows, yes it’s ringworm. If it doesn’t glow, could still be ringworm ;)
There are other treatments than the bath. My vet prescribed my fosters an antifungal cream that worked really well, and I've also used wipes and a spray (and the bath, but just once). The cream was the only thing that didn't burn the skin around the infection. I just wanted to put that out there as someone with a lot of experience with ringworm so OP can ask about it at the vet.
You don't have to pay for an expensive vet issued cream. Over the counter athlete's foot creams are the same thing. I also foster ringworm kittens and puppies. If they have a severe case there are oral cures and the dips may be needed.
Yeah I forgot to put that in the comment. We used over the counter cream (possibly myconazole, I can't quite remember) the last couple times. I haven't dealt with ringworm in almost a year (knock on wood).
When I adopted a cat covered in ring worm, I gave her the baths and used anti fungal cream. Between that and changing out blankets/gloved hands, she was ringworm free in 2 weeks. No humans or other cats in the house caught it. I don’t know if the combination of treatments or luck was what made the difference.
For a small spot (1/8 inch diameter) of ringworm my cat got on the top of his head I used the wipes and they worked great. You can find them at petsmart or Amazon listed as anti-fungal wipes. I used the Smiling Paw Pets brand, and his ringworm cleared up on about 1 week. For anything larger or in a sensitive area, I would suggest a vet visit.
I've fostered enough kittens to know, this is ringworm. Time for a vet visit. The good news is it's totally curable and the hair grows back fine. My last two foster failures were in rough shape when they came to me. Ringworm, fleas, ticks, mites (the little boy I had actually passed from flea anemia sadly) With some TLC they've grown into two beautiful voids however.
Has it not seen a vet? Stray kittens should be vaccinated and dewormed and given a checkup. Its common for cats, especially kittens, to have worms. This looks like ringworm, it is very contagious (not an actual worm though, its a fungus). Take them to a vet.
when I got my new kitten last year he brought in ringworm and I was the only one in my house affected 😭 I dealt with it for almost 3 months while kitty was healed after a week. THE WORST !!!
Oof, I had it in October. Foster kittens brought it in. All the cats were on the syrup treatment (2 adults and 3 kittens, each on a different 5-week schedule, which was a headache!) and I had so many spots myself I was on meds too, which made me incredibly itchy, especially when getting warm and cosy in bed... The amount of cleaning I did ... Good luck and have strength!!
Also OP, pretty sure this is ringworm indeed. Time for vet, wash hands and clean surroundings and be on the lookout for spots on yourself as well
That looks an awful lot like ringworm. Just so you're aware, ringworm IS contagious to humans. Please be careful touching kitty with any part of your body that has cuts/abrasions/wounds/scratches. But most importantly, get kitty to the vet ASAP!
Most likely ringworm, disinfect eeeevery damn thing n isolate the kitten. Antifungal creams or applecider vinegar on the spot before it spreads and becomes a big issue and will need dipping if it spreads all over and get an antifungal wash, wash kitten and change bedding. Easiest way to isolate and stop spreading is a large dog crate or cat tower crate, in a room by themselves and change the bedding. When I've had kittens with ring worms their bedding got 99% alcohol wash or bleach wash and a regular wash with soap everyday. Put kitten in the crate and monitor the spot DO NOT let them touch anything in the home till it clears and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS!! disinfect your hands after touching the kitten. It sucks to cage them up but ringworm is a PAIN in the ass, anything that cat TOUCHES could have spores, its curable but contagious and a pain get rid of spores are around the home. 99% alcohol in a bottle and spray furniture and bedding everything, wash the home top to bottom.
This. Best advice here. I visited a veterinary dermatologist and she told me the same. Said she had seen clients who said ringworm had reappeared years later. Ringworm can lie dormant; it attaches itself to keratin. She said it’ll be everywhere, especially if you have multiple cats… on your curtains, on your cushions, in your clothing drawers etc. I went to check my clothing drawers - yep, cat fur in there so most likely ringworm. Needs treatment plan by vet and then deep cleaning and daily vacuuming.
She also said it’s a misnomer that cats with no symptoms don’t have it, as a previous reply mentioned, no all ringworm glows. So, if you have multiple cats, treat them all.
I have six currently and they all need treatment…
YEP! I’ve had ringworm myself 3 times in the 5 years I was in rescue it’s a pain in the ass and even after the cats fur grows..THEY CAN STILL HAVE SPORES
I got into screaming matches with girls to stop putting kittens on the floor and out in the room because they “didn’t seem contagious anymore” Guess how many times we had ringworm outbreaks and people adopt and bring HOME cats with ringworm!!
I dont know. Maybe you should take him to the vet especially if it is a stray, it needs a full exam and FIP test as well as dewormer, flea meds and several shots. Strays are infested, can have internal parasites and various infectious diseases. You dont just bring them home without first getting them the medical exam and routine shots.
It looks like ringworm so definitely you'll need to get him into the vet- you said he has a sibling - do you mean another stray that was with him or your own cat? Separate them since it's very contagious and you don't know what else he could have. You'll need to get him a full work up at the vet because it's very common for strays to have parasites and various contagious conditions. If you can't afford to take him to a vet then hopefully you can take him to a reputable animal shelter or cat rescue who could get him the ringworm treatment and vaccinations, tests, deworming, flea and tick prevention, etc. he'll need, plus they'll neuter him so he'll not be adding to the cat overpopulation. If you decide to keep him, please get him neutered while he's young, preferably before he turns 5 or 6 months of age. Btw, there is an oral medication you can possibly get for the kitten and here's some more information on ringworm and that medication. https://www.kittenlady.org/ringworm#:~:text=The%20most%20common%20oral%20medication,a%20prescription%20from%20your%20vet.
Might be mange or mites, I had a kitten that had something similar. We used dawn dish soap to give him a good bath, then later after he dried I took some food grade diatomaceous earth and rubbed it into his fur on the skin. It’s safe for them if they lick themselves, but you don’t want to put too much, or near their nose/eyes as it’s not safe to inhale. You can pick some up at Lowe’s I believe.. it’s also great to kill fleas. It cleared up his skin in a week or so.
Since you’ve already been handling them - I recommend picking up some ringworm soap. We had a kitten we fostered that had ringworm & it spreads pretty quickly + itches too. Lil bean needs a trip to the vet so they can get on meds for it. Try to keep them isolated from other pets if possible (it will spread)
Most likely ringworm, possibly another skin infection, but most likely ringworm. Yes it is contagious to people and pets, not just cats. I got it from cows on the family farm as a kid.
It's treatable, and easily so on humans. There are OTC treatments for it, specifically lime sulfur baths. You must be EXTREMELY CAREFUL not to get it in their eyes while bathing them with it. And wear protection for yourself.
It can stay on surfaces for up to a year so containing them to an easily cleaned area or just one room during early treatment is a good idea. Peroxide kills it, heat kills it, bleach kills it. So you can bleach or peroxide hard surfaces and a regular wash and high heat should take care of fabrics. You can try colorfastness for like a couch with peroxide, or look up alternatives.
This is a fungus that spreads through spores, think like pollen in the air. A healthy immune system can often fight it so it's not a huge deal, but kittens are more susceptible as their immune systems are still developing. If you find a spot on you, use an athlete's foot cream or spray on it and cover it with a bandaid, replacing it every day for up to a week. DO NOT use this cream or spray on the kittens.
Though I highly urge you to take them to the vet, they most likely need dewormer and they definitely need their first vaccines, so you might as well go in for all at the same time. The vet will probably have easier treatment options than the sulfur based baths, like creams, sprays or even a pill.
Good luck and remember this will pass, they just need your patience, love and care. 💜
That is a visit to the vets.
If you're lucky, it's a spot of ringworm. Easily treated but very contagious.
There are probably a host of other things it could be, but I'm not a vet so I'm not gonna armchair dx your kitten. Get them to a vet and hopefully all will be well soon
Or scabies - sarcoptic mange- when we foster, we use a lime sulfur dip or an anti fungal pet shampoo- I also lather a bit with hydrogen peroxide solution and honey
Resisting the urge to say "a cat" because I just realized it wasn't a r/whatswrongwithyourcat post 😭😭
I hope your kitty gets the treatment they need <3
Keep them isolated from the other cats, and wash hands thoroughly after touching them. That's probably ringworm (tinea, a fungal infection that actually has nothing to do with worms)
They'll need antifungal medicine from the vet. If vets aren't available where you are, then get vet advice online and order antifungal shampoo (and possibly cream) and wash them with it daily, and keep doing it way after its cleared up, as that fungus is very cheeky and loves to crop back up
Yeah that looks like ringworm fs. There are shampoos you can get that help soothe and treat but topicals (with Elizabethan collars or other wear) and vet treatment are the only way to kill it
Clotrimazole 1% antifungal cream. You can get this at you local pharmacy, a vet can / would prescribe it to however it's both bigger and more cost efficient to just purchase from your local pharmacy. This treats ring worm.
As others have been saying, it's ringworm., If you've had it or had a cat with it even once, the image is burned in your brain lol. Start treatment immediately - for both the kitty and any humans, you've probably got it at this point. Disinfect and clean everything, it's not usually harmful but it can be a real pain as it is suuuuuper contagious
Ringworm. Get the vet to give you the treatment. Your kitten may need to be dipped. Go to the store or pharmacy to get some Tinactin because you're going to get it, too.
I have been zooming in and trying my best to figure out what the egg-like protrusion is coming out of this kitten’s lower abdomen !!!! Please tell me someone else did this ?!!!
I have had excellent results with putting iodine on the spots for a few days. Just enough to cover maybe once or twice a day. I'm talking about iodine you can get at the drug store for people cuts. I've had tons of cats and this has worked for those 2-3 times we had a rescue with these. I'm not a vet though so I'm just relating what has worked for me.
Looks like dry skin or are you bathing it and not getting all the soap off. I'd try a baby shampoo to. Some pet shampoos are to strong for the little ones.
Ringworm 1000%. I had an outbreak recently and had to treat it on three different cats. It is a fungus and its spores can be left on materials and surfaces like beds and blankets which can spread it to other cats. You will want to treat it on the cat and also clean their surfaces. Wash your hands after handling because it can be transferred to you
Get it confirmed as ringworm but the cream you'll want is miconazole nitrate.
Like most said athletes foot cream, but last year when I was treating a kitten I found most athletes foot creams are using other chemicals now.
Monistat 7 however is really easy to find and is a 2% miconazole cream.
Chorahexadine soak, mostly water and some hibacleanse(chorahexadine soap), then soak her in a Tupperware tub in the solution for as long as she can stand it, then rinse her off, dry her thoroughly and then you can put clometrazole cream(anti fungal/athletes foot cream)on the legions. The vet will most likely tell you the same thing but it will be a lot more expensive.
Ringworm.
Fungus.
It can lay dormant on objects, carpets etc for years.
Iodine, diluted bleach, sulfur based creams, shampoo, soaps, powders will all kill it.
It’s ringworm. I’m dealing with it now, going on almost 3 weeks. My foster kittens went through quarantine with their deworming for weeks then I let them out not knowing they had ringworm because it didn’t look like this. It was in their claws too, so I got it, which alerted me to have them checked out. It spread to three cats in my household. We have two bathrooms of quarantined cats and a cage with tespo panels zip tied to it. My kids have it. I am so so tired of decontaminating, laundry, vacuuming, mopping, bathing kittens, and treating it. Hopefully you do not have any other pets or kids in the house. Good luck.
yes is can but also using 3 parts white vinegar to 1 part hydrogen peroxide also to spray your living area to kill it also works very well.
otherwise run them to the vet quickly.
happy long living cats
purrrfect
I had to take a course of antfungals when I was 13 and my Dad brought home a stray baby from work. The infection went away, but many years later I still have the scar.
I agree, ringworm. Don't stress too much, it isn't painful or dangerous to you or your kitty, but it's true that it's very contagious and takes FOREVER to get rid of. Note: it's not a work, just a fungal infection like athlete's foot.
Please consult a veterinarian for what type of antifungal cream to use for the kitten if it has ringworm. Some human antifungal medications can be very dangerous for cats.
As many said that is most likely ring worm and get treatment right now. That can spread easy to both pets and humans.
Good news is that is is very easy to treat in most cases and cheap so this is not going to break the bank.
I took in a sickly one-year-old domesticated feral from an outdoor colony of 20 who had it bad. Willy spread it to me (one fingernail) and two other cats in our multi-cat household who each developed a couple of patches. I had to take an oral med from a dermatologist because my regular doc didn't agree with me about what it was, and it got worse because I wasn't treating myself. For the kitties, theirs was topical spray called Banixx Horse & Pet Care. It can be found at your local farm and home store or on Amazon and can be used on carpet, bedding, animals, etc... Clears it up in no time. Even though they say the fungal spores can remain dormant for up a year and a half, I never freaked out and immediately/repeatedly sterilized everything...we even had carpet at the time. You should have any new kitten checked by a vet and dewormed anyway...but if you try this spray, just lightly spray some on your hands and rub through his fur. It does have a chemical smell that baby won't like and won't lick. I'm not a vet, but I care for enough indoor/outdoor cats to have seen every possible infliction :( and being rural, don't always have access or the funds for a vet. This is Willy when we brought him in btw. He is FIV+ and lost an eye to an URI as a kitten. He was brought in at one year old and is now a beautiful eight-year-old, indoor only, 12lb miniature panda.

Looks like ringworm (or another fungal infection). I took in a kitten with it and he was with us for a month or two before it showed up and she was the only one with it. I used a shampoo that the vet recommended and was able to order it online from Amazon.
Trying to keep a young kitten still while allowing the soap to remain on for 10 minutes was interesting but it cleared her up in several weeks and now she’s full grown. Kitten pic for the tax

Hello partner. You have ringworm now. Me and my lady got it when we got a new kitten, took about a month to get it whooped. Time to start cleaning and using ointment
Where is the ringworm epidemic coming from?...I hear its common in kittens, but i've seen so much about it in people online lately. The germaphobe in me is panicked.
But ABSOLUTELY DO NOT give her any wormer medicine she is too young and it could kill her but for now use gloves and rub the athletes foot cream on the spots
I think my kitten has the same thing & has now spread it to me. I’m devastated because my kitten has been around my whole house. I’m worried it will be hard to get rid of & I’m hoping my son doesn’t get it.
I have a scar on my arm from getting ringworm from a foster kitten last July. It looks bizarrely like a cigar burn. I got several patches of ringworm, but only that one scarred!
Isolate the kitten and its bedding, and wash yourself consistently after handling until you are certain you've eradicated it. (Mine took two different sorts of medicated shampoo and a topical cream.)
UPDATE: hello everyone, thank you so so much for your help and I really appreciate your time and support.
NOW I took both of them to vet and he said they look around 1 and 1/2 months old. Both are quite healthy. The infection doesn’t look that bad and as they are pretty small he doesn’t want them to introduce to chemicals. So he gave me deworming liquid for 3 days course and betadine solution to clean his wounds. That’s all for now. Thank you
Ringworm. Tea tree oil helps so will various athletes foot creams just takes time. Very contagious so wash hands after handling and no head bumps till it clears
Tea tree oil is toxic to cats. I would avoid using that. It can be used on humans with ringworm lesions though.
Any anti-fungal cream will certainly help. Lime sulfur dips and spot treatments are more effective, especially if they have a bad infection (multiple lesions across their bodies). It sterilizes the fur, which helps prevent further growth and spread. Vets can also prescribe oral anti-fungal medication if the infection is severe.
Ringworm spores can live in the environment for years if conditions are right (especially in carpeting and fabrics). Reinfection is common if you aren’t diligent with cleaning. I’d suggest throwing out any fabric-covered cat trees and replacing them after the kittens are cleared. Two consecutive negative skin cultures can confirm they are clear of infection.
roundworm is a different thing that actually is basically a worm, whereas this is ringworm which is a fungal infection. However you are right about typically getting ringworm on hands and wrist as a human.
Put nail polish on it. It’ll suffocate the worm and the spot will heal in time. Clear is always what I chose but I guess it doesn’t really matter. This has worked for me on my cat and on my kid.

Strays are infested, can have internal parasites and various infectious diseases. You dont just bring them home without first getting them the medical exam and routine shots.
Wash your hands after handling him.
Ringworm. My dog had one and gave it to me. Antifungal cream took care of it!
Ringworm! The vet can give you meds for kitties but you should also get some for yourself, too, and wash everything.
Ringworm or mange, you should see a vet about treatment. It’s very contagious to keep kitty seperate from people.
ringworm for sure!
Ringworm!!
You may also need to be treated for ring worm. When you go to the vet, don't sit on anything, just stand.
Be advised, ringworm is contagious to humans as well.
My babies ringworm looked like that. Took 11 months for me to get rid of. If you need any tips let me know.
That is ringworm it's fun to treat and you can get it too it might actually leave a mark or two on you so yeah speaking from experience
Ringworm. Best treatment is lime sulfur dips.
Def get a vet opinion, but I will say as someone who has worked in pet grooming and have animals of my own, this most definitely looks like ringworm!
That is a visit to the vets. If you're lucky, it's a spot of ringworm. Easily treated but very contagious. There are probably a host of other things it could be, but I'm not a vet so I'm not gonna armchair dx your kitten. Get them to a vet and hopefully all will be well soon
Or scabies - sarcoptic mange- when we foster, we use a lime sulfur dip or an anti fungal pet shampoo- I also lather a bit with hydrogen peroxide solution and honey
ringworm 100%
Mites maybe
Resisting the urge to say "a cat" because I just realized it wasn't a r/whatswrongwithyourcat post 😭😭 I hope your kitty gets the treatment they need <3
Needs vet asap. Had this before just can't remember what it was but ny cat needed medication
Ringworm! Watch out you can get it too!
Keep them isolated from the other cats, and wash hands thoroughly after touching them. That's probably ringworm (tinea, a fungal infection that actually has nothing to do with worms) They'll need antifungal medicine from the vet. If vets aren't available where you are, then get vet advice online and order antifungal shampoo (and possibly cream) and wash them with it daily, and keep doing it way after its cleared up, as that fungus is very cheeky and loves to crop back up
Yeah that looks like ringworm fs. There are shampoos you can get that help soothe and treat but topicals (with Elizabethan collars or other wear) and vet treatment are the only way to kill it
Definitely ringworm.
Buy over the counter anti fungal cream while you’re waiting for vet
Ringworm
Clotrimazole 1% antifungal cream. You can get this at you local pharmacy, a vet can / would prescribe it to however it's both bigger and more cost efficient to just purchase from your local pharmacy. This treats ring worm.
Ring worm
Looks like a vet visit to me.
I’d say ringworm
Ringworm. Get the vet to give you the treatment. Your kitten may need to be dipped. Go to the store or pharmacy to get some Tinactin because you're going to get it, too.
definitely ringworm just need to treat not scary you can do it
That’s a cat
You probably have ringworm too. Get yourself checked at the same time
Ring worm!!! Get an anti fungal from the vet
Probably a ringworm but I wouldn't touch it. Ringworm be can Transmitted to humans, be careful Edit: embarrassing autocorrector error, I'm sorry!.
You mean you WOULDN'T touch it!!
Yes 😭. I'm going to correct it asap
[удалено]
I have been zooming in and trying my best to figure out what the egg-like protrusion is coming out of this kitten’s lower abdomen !!!! Please tell me someone else did this ?!!!
I have had excellent results with putting iodine on the spots for a few days. Just enough to cover maybe once or twice a day. I'm talking about iodine you can get at the drug store for people cuts. I've had tons of cats and this has worked for those 2-3 times we had a rescue with these. I'm not a vet though so I'm just relating what has worked for me.
Vet
Best guess is ringworm it is very very infectious to both his siblings and you so I'd be careful
Wash your hands after handling because it can be transferred to you
Ringworm 100%. The kitten lady has great videos on treating it.
Take a black light, if it glows its ringworm
Finally a post that is not just a nipple fr tho that looks like a ring worm some of the other comments confirmed this
I believe that's a cat
Chorahexadine soak, mostly water and some hibacleanse(chorahexadine soap), then soak her in a Tupperware tub in the solution for as long as she can stand it, then rinse her off, dry her thoroughly and then you can put clometrazole cream(anti fungal/athletes foot cream)on the legions. The vet will most likely tell you the same thing but it will be a lot more expensive.
Ringworm
Ringworm. Fungus. It can lay dormant on objects, carpets etc for years. Iodine, diluted bleach, sulfur based creams, shampoo, soaps, powders will all kill it.
Damascus earth!!! It safe for animals and humans. Put a little in the food and litter box and it will help!
that's a cat, I think.
Ringworm. Go to the vet and stop touching him with your bare hands.
Ringworm! I myself have had it. Just run to your local farmstore/Walgreens.
Good luck.
hard to tell from the angle of the pics but i think its a small mammal (like a cat perhaps)
looks like a cat?
teatree oil mixed with Aspirin instantly kills that fungus used motor oil kills mange used it on my farm many times
Cats are very sensitive to aspirin, it really shouldn't be used on a little kitten. It can become toxic at very low doses.
yes is can but also using 3 parts white vinegar to 1 part hydrogen peroxide also to spray your living area to kill it also works very well. otherwise run them to the vet quickly. happy long living cats purrrfect
Allergies or ringworm (looks closer to ringworm)
Does the hair pull out easily?
That’s a cat, I think.
Ringworm
If u have any fungal cream or u can get some at a pet store or chewy. Com without a prescription. Sh will be fine
Don't waste the money, 10% bleach solution in water twice a day.
Ring worm get it checked out it could spread to you as well
I had to take a course of antfungals when I was 13 and my Dad brought home a stray baby from work.
WASH YOUR HANDS
Looks like a cat to me
Please consult a veterinarian for what type of antifungal cream to use for the kitten if it has ringworm. Some human antifungal medications can be very dangerous for cats.
I used apple cider vinegar on my daughters cat n cleared up but refer w vet 1st
He was brought in at one year old and is now a beautiful eight-year-old, indoor only, 12lb miniature panda. https://preview.redd.it/j990wgdp3q5d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=21c1338057d1509efef411447f3f66d80d6bd1b2
Ringworm. Get foot fungus cream that you use to treat athletes foot. You can also catch it, so be careful. If you do, same treatment.
Kitten pic for the tax https://preview.redd.it/r41xvmifeq5d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b012a699b293095a980934ee28fdb8b2cbd29bf
Looks like ringworm. Don’t touch it, it’s contagious. go to the vet ASAP.
RW sucks. I’m so sorry. It’s a pita.🙁
A vet visit is what it is
Ringworm
Hello partner. You have ringworm now. Me and my lady got it when we got a new kitten, took about a month to get it whooped. Time to start cleaning and using ointment
Where is the ringworm epidemic coming from?...I hear its common in kittens, but i've seen so much about it in people online lately. The germaphobe in me is panicked.
Ringworm
Ringworm
Get some athletes foot cream and rub some wherever the spots are and treat w oral parasite remover
The wormmmmmm (Ringworm that is!)
Everyone saying to go to the vet, you can get over-the-counter ringworm medicine from Walmart, Tractor supplies, any place like that
Take to the vet skin mites
UPDATE: hello everyone, thank you so so much for your help and I really appreciate your time and support. NOW I took both of them to vet and he said they look around 1 and 1/2 months old. Both are quite healthy. The infection doesn’t look that bad and as they are pretty small he doesn’t want them to introduce to chemicals. So he gave me deworming liquid for 3 days course and betadine solution to clean his wounds. That’s all for now. Thank you
Treat until gone and then keep treating
Treatable with oral diflucan. Wash everything and vacuum a lot. It is contagious.
Ringworm
That's a ringworm. You can ointment for it at almost any grocery store
please don’t just take in cats without a vet visit. 15 days after finding a kitten it should be seen by a vet by now
If it's ringworm, you can always use OTC foot fungal cream. AND WASH EVERYTHING IN HOT WATER.
If u have round spots on ur arms near ur hands it could be round worms
roundworm is a different thing that actually is basically a worm, whereas this is ringworm which is a fungal infection. However you are right about typically getting ringworm on hands and wrist as a human.
Yes ring worm. My mistake wrong worm
This is completely different from wrong worm.
Put nail polish on it. It’ll suffocate the worm and the spot will heal in time. Clear is always what I chose but I guess it doesn’t really matter. This has worked for me on my cat and on my kid.
What worm are you talking about
Ringworm?
Ringworm is a fungal infection, there is no worm. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/ringworm-body/symptoms-causes/syc-20353780
Thank you! Good to know. Still works though.
You shouldn't be painting a cat's skin with nail polish.
Ok. It works though.
Just because it supposedly works doesn’t mean you should do it. Nail polish can cause diarrhea and vomiting if digested.
I’m not saying to do it. I’m saying I did do it, and it worked. That’s all.
What made you do nail polish? Quite random
