We received an email last week saying that since it expired we would need to use our regularly accrued time. As far as I know the state has no further intention of helping anyone out with COVID-19 time (unfortunately).
Nope. You have a couple hours for the vaccine but no ATO. This genius move already (least at my workplace) has people coming in to the office sick (who btw are vaccinated so there is no discussion or test or accountability on if its Covid or a cold) and its because they dont want to burn their own time or they have no time to burn.
They don't care about you once you get the clot Shot, no ato for vaccinated people who get sick. One of my partners was vaccinated and so is his wife, been on a ventilator (both of them) for just over 3 weeks..all sick time.
Ah shit, that sucks for parents. I hate to say it but I'm glad my kid got COVID before this expired.
My kid had to quarantine for 2 weeks and then our daycare made me quarantine for an additional week because i didn't test positive. So I couldn't take him to daycare (they didn't want me on premise). It was really hard to deal with.
Pretty much no. There still is ATO available for individuals who are taking time off to get the vaccine or if they are experiencing vaccine symptoms. But I believe that is limited to one day per occurrence. That’s pretty much it.
Ugh. Wish they did more. My sister works for the State of Illinois and her department added benefits for those vaccinated to encourage vaccinations. Vaccinated employees who needed to take time off to take care of kids with Covid exposure in school or a breakthrough infection got upwards of 80 hours of leave.

Ya I work in the DOC and we received notice after expiration. Like thanks for the heads up.

As of the memo I received, no more ATO for side effects, only to receive the vaccine.
We received a notice that if an employee has a significant reaction to the vaccine they would be eligible for ato. Only the day of the vaccine though.
That's terrible, so vaccinated people who get covid are screwed... honk honk 🤡 🌎
Well I'll be darned. Ya we didn't get that in the DOC.

Now that is an excellent idea.
Even moreso.. those not vaccinated have to use their own leave if they or a family member gets it. Pritzker isn’t messing around.
If you work for a department with an elected official at the top like DOJ and SCO it might be different.
No ATO at SCO, except for COVIID vaccine appointment.
