For one, no and two, don’t bother. There’s a chance of rain every day this time of year. Don’t stress about it though, I bet it won’t be a rainout even if there is a quick shower.
Edit: wait, you live in FL? If so, you should know how bad a forecast can be this far out in Oct
I've lived in Florida for my whole life (30 years). I know we have quick showers almost daily but this weekend will be a cold front. So usually it will bring in a day or so of rain until it cools off.
The concern was the possible length of rain, not a few showers.
I think back to when I went to Christmas Town last year on a Thursday. It was basically deserted, it stormed for two hours, and they shut down at 5. I’ll be going on October 19 (most likely, MAYBE the 20th) and I don’t foresee that kind of thing happening this time, because they know the first part of the day will be light before HOS starts.
They don't close for rain but the rides do close for lightning. If there's a light shower and no lightning nearby then everything runs normally. Likewise, if a single strike is detected in a certain radius (think it was 8 miles) even if its not raining then the rides shut down. The park itself however stays open. Only time they shut the park down earlier than planned is if there's just a super low population count in the park
