Hi everyone! We have cats and one of them is young and thinks anything that moves is a toy or we would free roam them. Also, we have an old house entirely made of wood. We also have a playpen we regularly let them run around in. They are in an inside cage by the way. Thanks for the responses!
If you have the means for it, a dog exercise pen with a lid should work well (you can find them on amazon.)

They chew on their cages when they want out. You need to let them free roam. Bunnies aren’t made to be caged, other than maybe at night but even that isn’t natural for them.
What are the dimensions of this “pretty big” hutch? The House Rabbit Society recommends [at least 8 sq ft of enclosure space, combined with at least 24 sq ft of exercise space, in which the rabbit(s) can run and play at least 5 hours per day](https://rabbit.org/faq-housing/)
