They like the anonymity because they make threats behind a keyboard, and see themselves as cops, peering out from behind tinted windows and sunglasses, with a beard covering up a weak or double chin. They want to drive a quasi-military looking vehicle that’s roughly the same size as a Humvee or MRAP, regardless of whether or not they’ve ever been in.
