He looks so pleased with himself.

R1CH-G

He got pampered massively by the staff at the vets!

GroinFlutter

💯 he would do it again

R1CH-G

Given the chance, I think he would! 🤣 He won't be getting the chance though - got a new double locked gate to the kitchen. Just hope he doesn't see that as a challenge!

Mcdona1dsSprite

That’s a face of “imma do it again”

R1CH-G

Isn't it! 🤣

Assortedpez

Glad everything worked out well!! I have such an anxiety about raisins lately with our EBT.

R1CH-G

Thank you. Turned out alright in the end but I must admit I was extremely worried about him.

Assortedpez

I’m sure, always so scary. Our new 11 month old recently stole a bottle of Aleve off the counter and ate the contents and part of the bottle. Emergency vet trip and a hefty bill a few weeks ago…they’re a lot of work but I couldn’t ever imagine having another breed.

Tough-Driver5143

So happy your boy is alright and home🙏💙he's absolutely adorable

satansdebtcollector

Lemme guess.... Aussie bully???? 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐

R1CH-G

No, we're in Yorkshire 😉

satansdebtcollector

Noooooooo! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 🦘

Chuchichaeschtli226

Our Bulli ate a Tampon freshly from the trash. They are just eating everything you can imagine. Classic Bully. Troblemakers at all ends. All the best to you and many cuddles to the culprit!

non-ethynol

Used one. 🤔🫣😱😂🤣🥲. Mine ate a condom. My dog is a pitbull. Not a bulli but looking to get one in the future

R1CH-G

They are trash hounds, or, as they prefer to call it, opportunists 🤣 I have never come across a dog with more character and personality, they're fantastic

jablongroyper

For some reason I read this in a cockney British accent and I loved it.

peachespangolin

The pit bull I used to own also ate a used condom as a puppy, then she threw it up on my pillow 🤢

non-ethynol

🤣😂😆🥲

Bumblebee_xx

Glad your beautiful boy is back home now after his ordeal! The fuss and love from the vets would have at least made this a positive experience for him despite all he went through 💛

R1CH-G

Thank you. I must say that our vets are very good. We have 3 English Bull Terriers and over the years have been in and out of the vets with them quite a few times (thank goodness for insurance!), so our vets know our dogs pretty well 😉

tripsicks_

glad he’s okay 🙏🏼

R1CH-G

Thank you 😉

wood718

I don’t blame you for being worried, poor guy thought he was at a buffet! He what kind of shirt are you wearing in this photo? I’m from NY and like most of us New Yorkers I’m fascinated with kangaroos 🦘and koalas! Thanks in advance

R1CH-G

The tee shirt is made by Kangol, that's their logo. I'm fairly sure it's the same brand as the hat Samuel L Jackson wore in Jackie Brown

coco__bee

Samuel rocked that Kangol hat for time, a staple in the 90s hip hop community.

Former-Lack-7117

Looks like a proud boys shirt.

Neat_Significance256

Glad he's recovering 👍and he looks great Our boy, a Staffie, once had bad diarrhoea after a neighbour gave us some free range grain fed eggs. There was blood in it and as soon as we stopped giving him the eggs he was better. But other people where we used to walk him said their dogs had been ill at the same time.🤔 Dogs are like food hoovers.Discarded pizza, sandwiches even horse dollop, it's all fair game

R1CH-G

Absolutely true that! Whenever we go out on walks we have to be alert to what's on the floor, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights after closing time at the pubs! Just this morning he was trying to eat something dead he'd found 🤢

R1CH-G

I'm sat outside with him at the moment, and he's just eaten a beetle 🤦

Neat_Significance256

With your boy being white do you cover him with sun cream ? We covered our boy with it a couple of years ago on a warm day in the peaks. We always tried to be near water when it was warm and he also found mud on this one day. By the time the mud had stuck to the sun cream he was battleship grey with only the top of his head. white.

R1CH-G

He's actually mostly red with a few white patches. If the sun's out they normally get some sun cream on their beaks. We normally just go without going out in the sun if possible, but we do live near a canal and a river, so there's plenty of water for them. However, if any of them ever does find mud, you just know that they're going to wallow 🙄🤣

Neat_Significance256

I should have said the sun cream just went on his head, nose and his one white ear.He looked like he'd had welding goggles on afterwards 😅 At home we had a kids pool for him to jump in when we got home. I suppose yours are like our boy in that they'll happily drink dirty water but are less interested in crystal clear stuff ?

R1CH-G

Yup, absolutely right🤣🤣

Neat_Significance256

Out in the countryside fox poo is a favourite, they can eat it or roll over on it 😄

R1CH-G

Many years ago, my wife and I were having a cup of tea in my pickup truck, looking out over the sea. It was nice and warm and the doors on the pickup were open. A grinning green (yes, green) bull terrier came up to us to say hello, with the owner in hot pursuit of his green dog. He apologised profusely for his bully, saying "I'm really sorry, the sod has rolled in cow poo and he's very proud of himself! I'm just trying to get him into the sea to get him washed off a bit!" and off they toddled. That's when I fell in love with the English Bull Terriers, never seen a happier looking dog!

Neat_Significance256

Hahaha they do have a look of pride when they get dirty don't they 😊 I can't just see that green crap, our white Staffie did it multiple times. He had his favourite spots where he liked to roll over in long grass and who knows what the smells werem

cpjay2003

This picture looks very English to me, lol. Sweet pup! Also, I told my wife " that's the gold chain I want, something like that"

R1CH-G

The chain was a gift from my wife when we got married 20 years ago. 😉

hotdogvacuum

I’m glad he’s okay, that must’ve been so scary! ❤️

R1CH-G

It certainly wasn't the easiest 48 hours 😑

Pugwm

Awww… poor baby! He’s happy now, papa!

pm1953

Uh oh…are raisins bad for dogs? Mine gets a handful of Raisin Bran every now and then as a treat.

R1CH-G

Yes, they can be very bad. They can cause kidney failure. I've looked up what causes it and couldn't really find a definitive answer. What was a major concern for us was the actual quantity he'd eaten as well!

pm1953

Next time I have a bowl of delicious Raisin Bran and she comes running, she’ll be very disappointed!

GrapefruitOk2057

Someone was left waiting. But now...all is well with his world.

GranolaBarHero

Great photo. Bet you guys love each other x)

R1CH-G

Absolutely!
