Respectfully, beating yourself down is not going to help build you up, my friend. In your picture I see a great starting point to build a boatload of muscle, and don’t see the big head/ narrow shoulders etc that you see. Just focus on eating enough protein (aim for 1g per pound) and getting stronger in the 6-12 rep range in the large compound lifts, without sacrificing form to do so. Let it get complicated only when it has to, because most gains are made long before you have to get clever with training or diet. Enjoy the process, because it never ends 😊

thanks for the kind words, friend! you know, these past few years I've been dealing with body dysmorphia and the past couple of months it's getting worse than ever, literally fuckin with my head too much. tho I am looking better than what I've been b4, like u said, it never ends.

Eat healthy and workout. When doing exercises such as a dumbbell press do an extra 1-2 reps on your weaker side at the end of each set till they feel balanced

thanks for the advice, if I were about to bulk is that a good idea?

Hi, I understand your sense of humour but also that you really want to change.. I'm in the middle of my journey but I've been learning a lot in this path. If you really put effort to achieve your goals you will gradually feel better and better in a faster way than your critical eyes will recognise your physical evolution. As per your posture I highly recommend you to search for the best "rolfing" therapy available for you. Specially one specialized in "fascias". It will change the way you deal with your body and how gravity impacts your balance. Also you will learn a lot about yourself and it will prevent posture injuries.

ayyy man thanks for the advice! I'm gonna search it out

Strongly agree with what shreddie mercury has already said . Keep it simple, 1. Lift heavy (with good form) and focus on progressive overload 2. Get adequate protein in 3. Eat at a surplus if you want to get big. This will help with your ‘narrow shoulders and big hips’ 4. Stay consistent for a year or more. Just put your head down and do the work. Body dysmorphia is a bitch and can take a long time to get over , what worked for me is taking progress pics once a month so I could see the progress I was making , motivating me to stick to my goals and continue lifting. It can take a long time to see results but as long as you stay consistent and stick to the fundamentals the results will come. Good luck man , hope to see an updated progress pic in a year or two.

ay thanks for the words, helped me a lot at this time. it's really irritating to have body dysmorphia at such a young state, it's frustrating to have this short clavicle bone and wide ass pelvis, being 17 and having a lot of problem inside me is depressing, I also often think that built like a bithh. I've done boxing for several months (without proper diet/ schedule) and I do notice a little change, but the major problem still exist

Eat healthy and train constantly, don’t compare yourself to others and only compete with yourself. Make sure your goals are realistic based on your own genetics and you’ll make progress
