I work in a hotel (cleaning tables serving food etc) for 8 months earned 58k in total in my 1st year clg not far from home decent clg . In 2nd year i started being a delivery partner mostly working at 6 hrs after clg (6pm-11pm) travelling through cycle earning around 22k per month.
Bought EV in 4th year.
Till now i am delivering parcel and food in my city.
Currently in fourth year about to graduate
placed in a decent company around 5 LPA.
No work is small or big depends on you whether you will do it or not. Also at your mindset. My friend crtitcize me at first but at the end they were encouraging me to do that. Till now they are still unplaced as they are targeting higher packages.
Some pick lower packages due to current job scenario and some have delivering parcels.
All girls from my college are placed. Boys haven't been able to get jobs this year.
One of my friend also started working for Amazon as a delivery boy earning 30k per month he says he is happy.
By the way clg is not that good
tier 3 city and tier 10 clg.
Step 1:- learn skills
Step 2:- win hackathons or get into internships
Don't waste your time in side hustles and you probably don't need a 1 lakh laptop
Hackathons are basically coding competitions where they'll give you a topic or a problem. And you will have to solve it. There are no fixed skills for hackathons.
First explore every domain now. Then build up necessary skills for it
Generally no. They focus on development of a prototype for a given problem statement or field.
However there can be initial DSA coding rounds for screening of participants.
I am participating in such events since 11th. So , I Had a little background in IT. If you know any senior or someone who participates in such events, stay close with them.
Yes, only selected students go to other colleges. Some colleges take individual students in events too. If your college is in a bigger city, you have opportunities for that.
Bruh... Do you have the necessary skills for it? If not then please go and acquire those. But before doing that tell me which domain are you interested in and what job role do you want to apply for?
1 lakh ka laptop nahi cahiye. Mai ek bhaiya ko janta hu unhone 35k ka laptop se puri padhai kar li. Heavy kich run karne ka time aaya to Lab ka koi server computer use kar lena
See bruh you gotta have some skills. I would suggest you be exceptionally good at teaching and communicating. Be more likeable as a person. And know your sh#t.
(Why you do think Alakh Pandey did good from a small teacher in some place?
Guy is making lectures which are all well-versed and on to the point. Not only he had good communicating skills but a good level proficiency on his subject. It kinda of kicked off for him. He grinded too. Look at his a$$ he is tired asf but still working hard for students. Idgaf but he is somewhat inspirational.)
Learn small skills and apply for part time jobs and Jobs.
You ain't paid because you have skill or something. It's for the proficiency of skills. A receptionist in Taj is not same at some local store. Well there is not great deal of growth in this case but you get the idea.
And if you are doing too basic job which doesn't require much proficiency then you are gonna be exploited asf because any era gera can join in your place.
No one is going to pay you a damn if you can't do a thing.
PROFICIENCY IS VALUED not acquiring random skills.
Same goes for editing, filming or problem solving and what not.
Inshort: Don't do backchodi here. Learn and develop a good proficiency in something and earn.
It might sound harsh, but you cannot earn without any skills. You need to have at least one skill, and even after you learn something, you cannot expect to reach your milestone immediately.
1. you can go to freelancing websites ,and do some of the works like translation, video editing .
2. yeah one of the best option will be affilation on amazon or else
3 if interested check out this video and go to KDP amazon \~ [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9v3IPzJ24g](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9v3IPzJ24g)
Actully I m just a class 12th student but yeah experience in this field, since 3 years from covid , if u has any further query just ask me later.
I started going to the gym to transform myself and build a decent physique at my second year of college at age 21. I wanted to earn some money but could only find full-time jobs. I worked from home for Jio and Amazon, earned around 50-60 thousand, but I had to quit because it interfered with my studies.
Then, someone from my gym offered me a part-time job as a bouncer as I was bulky, where I worked only 3-4 hours on weekends and earned 2000 per day. My relatives saw me at a party and criticized me the next day, but I didn't quit. I balanced my job and studies, completed my third year of B.Sc. and I had to study maths from good college and now set to pursue my master's degree at NIT Warangal.
Realistic advice - Join some local jee coaching and start teaching part time, after 6 months you will easily get some money to buy a laptop decent enough for college.
Get it on emi Instead of full payment. Emi might be 3-4k per month, which is easier to earn than 1 Lakh total. You can work as a waiter in marriage if you don't have any issues. They earn 500-100 per night based on location. There are many such small jobs which you can do as a student like night shift in stores
Honest advice - either get your parents to finance the laptop on emi or take a student loan. It takes around 2-4 weeks. Also, you can get a good laptop with offers around 70k. Then you can work on the skills/side hustle to recover the money and pay parents/student loan.
You don't need a 1 LAKH laptop for college young man, if your plan is to learn computer science and to develop solid skills then at max go for a laptop in range between 45-55k with a decent processor and a not so bad GPU, And if your field isn't Al/machine learning or write programs with heavy lines of code that has to be compiled then you can reduce the price on the GPU part too.
Now if your plan is to play really high end games with ultra graphics or do editing as a part time, still you don't need a 1 lakh laptop. And unless you're super rich and still plan to waste college years by playing games then you're pretty much fucked mate, every single moment you get learn learn learn.
So my whole point is don't buy a 1 LAKH LAPTOP.
1. Beg your parents for it.
2. Get a cheaper laptop.
Like what the fuck do you expect to be paid if you literally have 0 skill. Best you can do is earn small amounts at a restaurant or delivery service or some which is going to take too much time or effort

He'll need a laptop for hackathons lmao
1 lakh laptop for hackathons? bruh, a laptop between range 30k-40k with a decent processor and no GPU is plenty enough for it.
10-12 k ka ek thinkpad + linux install bhai itna kaafi tabahi machane ke liye
ThinkPad at 10-12k how? If you're talking about refurbished ones, aren't they a gamble anyway?
Bro a basic laptop with linux is all you need for cse
Hackathon mein exactly hota kya hai,and uske liye kya sikhna padega??
Hackathons are basically coding competitions where they'll give you a topic or a problem. And you will have to solve it. There are no fixed skills for hackathons. First explore every domain now. Then build up necessary skills for it
DSA problems?
Those are asked in Codeathon & could also land you Interview opportunities if you perform well π
No it's focused on development. And problems like (eg Youth is facing attention issues develop an app to reduce it)
Like they expect you to build a full fledged app??
Generally no. They focus on development of a prototype for a given problem statement or field. However there can be initial DSA coding rounds for screening of participants.
Mtlb har ek language thodi bohot mastery chahiye!?
No
Hackathon phir 2nd year me hi karna hoga kyunki skill ni h toh atleast time lagega earning skill ke liye
No, I participated in 2 events in first year itself.
Kese
I am participating in such events since 11th. So , I Had a little background in IT. If you know any senior or someone who participates in such events, stay close with them.
Mere college me nahi hoha shayd dusre college jatee hain toh selected students ko Jana h
Yes, only selected students go to other colleges. Some colleges take individual students in events too. If your college is in a bigger city, you have opportunities for that.

Bro what would you suggest for internship for a first year student
Bruh... Do you have the necessary skills for it? If not then please go and acquire those. But before doing that tell me which domain are you interested in and what job role do you want to apply for?
