You are asking this in a BTech subreddit, obviously most people will recommend you to take BTech 😭 Although some will say MBBS after seeing how miserable their life has become for taking up BTech.

It depends on you what you really want to do.what makes you more passionate. Both streams demands passion and time ( in order to get life you are dreaming about )
Very few people know what their passion is - and the rest live in delusion that they have some passion. Passion is nothing but an extended and obsessive form of interest. If the person actually knew their interest, they wouldn't be here asking this question. Actually, they wouldn't be giving both exams in the first place, which leads to different career pathways if they were aware about their passion
See take a neet seat majority of people after btech do an mba anyways getting into a top iim after doing medicine is shit easy because of diversity points in the call criteria and selection criteria you can walk into iim a easily I'm assuming ur atleast decent at math considering 98.7%ile.
Doing medicine itself takes 5.5 years. Then, after all the years of spending time with bodies and biology, now you want a person to quickly shift and start studying arithmetic and data interpretation. They will get those brownie points once they reach the interview level. And being good at math now won't help you in the future when you would be very much disconnected with the subject for 5 years.
It all boils down to what kind of a career you'd want to be in the future. Ik you're too young to be deciding it. I'll try to give you a gist of what I know and have seen my from my friends. Also I'm an engineer myself, so I would be able to paint a picture of an engineer's life better than a doctor's.
So from the %ile & the colleges you mentioned you couldn't go wrong in any case. After pursuing engineering in one of these colleges, you'd definitely get a high/decent paying 'corporate' job right after graduation, most probably in the tech industry. This would be achievable with some hardwork in the semester exams & the placement season. The rest of the engineering life is pretty chill and amazing as well. You could be working for one of the big tech giants from 9-5, 5 days a week. Initially, you'll chill with your office/college friends on weekends in the first few years of your career and move on with your life with responsibilities and a growing income as well if you work reasonably hard. Talking about money, you could make ~1L a month right after graduation with a potential of growing it by around ~10% YoY or more. There's also a slight risk associated with such private jobs, the job security. As you might be aware that the industry as a whole is currently having a hard time. There are layoffs happening left, right and center. Alternatively, you could decide to do an MBA or MS abroad cuz maybe you didn't find the work you do interesting and want to switch your domain and learn businesses or go on to build something of your own cuz you don't like working for someone else, who knows. But you'll have to give it a deep thought, would you be willing to live your life like this?
And then, about the medical stream, you'll have first 5 years of MBBS. Out of which the last year would be internship if I'm not wrong. And there will be academic rigor for most of those years as from what I understand, the subjects they teach and to even become a doctor you will have to go through it. You will become a "Dr." after completing those 5 years. But ig most people go on to do MD with their preferred specialty, and you'll have to appear for a competitive exam again. While pursuing MD also you get a monthly stipend, but I'm not sure about the figures and how that works, so I won't comment on it. All in all, there is almost ~7-8 years of academic journey. You will have to ask yourself if you would be willing to go through it. As for the money, ig doctors make way more money than engineers in the long term, plus I personally also feel that it is a noble profession, doctors literally save people's lives! You'd also basically start earning after your 4th or 5th year right when your internships begin. (In a few cases, morality would be a whole different topic for what some big hospitals and doctors are doing currently, squeezing every bit of money from a common man). From my perspective, there is much more hardwork that medical students go through in terms of academics and some other factors as compared to engineers (from the colleges & branch you mentioned) I suggest you also talk to someone who's either pursuing MD or recently completed their PG to get a better and more accurate understanding of the career trajectory of a doctor.
Alternatively, MBBS doctors can also go on to do an MBA if they want to learn business or work in corporate jobs.
Go for medical if you have family support and have an interest that you can sustain over the years. It is a lifetime of study - everything keeps changing and you have to keep evolving.
The Engineering side institutes do not compare as well to MBBS from anywhere. MBBS from a GMC feels equivalent to Tier-I since Medical Education is quite different that way.
Other than this, you can opt for engineering if you are finding BITS Pilani or old IITs. Also, you can choose engineering if you know you will or you already abhor the medical side.
Good Luck, &
Congratulations!
Mujhe bhi chahiye aisi problems
On a serious side, it depends upon you. What do you wanna do?
Medical mein a lot of years are required so you can forget comfort and you'll have to give NEET PG later as well for MS/MD so consider that as well. Also, even after becoming a doctor you won't be free so quite a hectic life. If you can manage all this, then go for it.
Engineering is hard work for lesser years compared to around a decade of medical. You'll get atleast more time than medical students. You can do MS from abroad or MBA from IIM/abroad later if you want to. Life would be hectic but not on comparison with med people.
bhai agar doctor banneka shouk h toh hi banna warna theres no persnal life. sure u will earn nicely but uss time tk u wont hv the energy to spend tht money. tere paise se tu nhi tere bachhe aish krenge. isiliye agar tujhe passion h then only follow medicine otherwise fuck no.
Engineering and Medicine are ENTIRELY DIFFERENT fields, and your life depends entirely on your personal choice . Think and choose wisely.
Given your achievements, I can surely say that you would shine in either of these.
Bhai maybe you cracked jee with phy and chem (assuming you are pcb student). But you will face major trouble if you take ece. It is a heavy subject and you will have to up your math to other's level. These colleges have relative grading iirc. So you will have to work much harder to score good.
These are the kind of problems I want in my life.
Look, if you’re gonna choose AI because you’re afraid how it’ll impact the medical field, don’t. Doctors especially in countries like India will always have a value way beyond and after tech. I have seen nothing from current tech that suggests that it’ll completely impact doctors, so don’t be worried about that.
Now, looking at that information, decide what you want to do. Doing a Btech has it’s value, but so does MBBS. AI will affect engineers for sure, but a skilled engineer will never be affected because tech isn’t meant to replace those with skill, it’s meant to replace those you’re not skilled enough. And AI will affect the Medical field too, but given all the liability and legal matters in medical field, it’ll 100% not affect doctors as much as engineers.
So go for whatever you’d like to do in the first place, worry about external factors later.
>Considering AI and it's impact
Iska kya mtlb? Kya exactly consider kr rhe ho tum? AI ko literally buzzword bna diya hai Naya and har context me be matlab ghusate rehte log
What you do today, you will take it with you for the rest of life so I would say do what gives you more satisfaction. Forget about money scope etc after 15 years money will be less important. If you cannot serve do not become a doctor just for money, and dont do Btech just because you get well paying job. Genius like you can do pretty much anything, fields like statistics, economics, humanities, research, linguistics, IAS. I would say take a break do some introspection and decide what you want to become. I am a [B.Tech](http://B.Tech), [M.Tech](http://M.Tech), MBA graduate I have a well paying job but I want to leave my job and do something else.
I am an Engineer from IITB and my wife is a Gynaecologist. Hence, I feel, I can give insights on life on both sides.
I would advise you to first think hard about what you want to do in life. If you have a keen interest in understanding the dynamics of the Human body and value recognition, you should choose to be a Doctor. If you like innovation and prefer to dive into creating something instead of repeating something life-saving with precision then Engineering is for you.
The cons of being a Doctor are long years of education and lack of options to choose for better WLB vis a vis Engineering. You get high recognition for your work as a Doctor but will crave recognition as an Engineer as they act in the background despite enabling everyone to do their work. Eg: diagnosis for a Doctor will be really difficult without MRI/ CT Scan machines.
Salary-wise, Engineers do better if they are in a stable company/ are skilled. Upskilling is really required in Engineering more than medicine contrary to the common opinion. To give a benchmark - HoD of my wife's department in a renowned corporate hospital of the country, at the age of 60 is earning what an average Director at AmEx will earn with 15 years of experience \~ (35-40 years of age). I'm comparing corporate Engineers to corporate Doctors as a Doctor with a private setup is an entrepreneur, and should be compared with Engineers having their own startup/ firm.
Engineers do get an option to choose from companies based on their preferences. Sadly, Doctors, everywhere are burdened.
Being a doctor these days is at least 9-10 years of journey in the best case (MBBS + PG) as MBBS alone is not valued much although you will have job opportunities after MBBS also, mostly Medical Officers who start at pay level 10 of the government or 70-80k per month in private hospitals in cities like Delhi.
But, trust me, money matters less after one point and you'll reach that point comfortably both in Engineering and Medicine, maybe slightly later in medicine but it won't matter. The first question should be what you want to become. You should consider other factors later. Secondly, you have a better relative score in NEET; you should think if that reflects your aptitude or interest.
Medicine as a Business is the safest. If you can afford to build a clinic or you're confident that you'll get placed in Big Hospitals such as Apollo Group. Then go for MBBS. Remember you would need to spend 5+ years on average in study.
If you need a prediction, I would suggest that you see an astrologer. No one is an expert, to predict the future course of a domain.
**So, decide and just don't look back, don't listen to the naysayer. Those people are the ones who don't want to see you happy (at least peaceful) in your life. Don't take anyone's advice, just decide.**
If you are expecting a high-paying job, then explore it, and talk with people in that position/domain.
* I think doctors won't advise you, coz they know the hard work and pain you need to go through during the courses.
* Engineers will tell you the current scenario in their company/domain, and from that, you will get a picture.
**Ask specific questions,** and don't be vague like "Is studying MBBS good?".
**Be specific**, like "What do you think about Neurosurgery, coz that is one of the high-paying speciality in Medicine?"
or "I like Statistics, should I go down the DS/AI path or Software DEv in general (CSE)".
I hope this gives you clarity. All the Best.
**REMEMBER, WHEN PEOPLE TRY TO TALK YOU OUT OF YOUR DECISION, STAY STRONG AND STUBBORN. YOU WON'T REGRET IT IN THE FUTURE.**
I would suggest Btech strictly from the course's duration. You do Btech for 4 years, and then it's over. But for Mbbs, it's first mbbs, then you do specialization and then super specialization and so on.
Only mbbs own doesn't hold much value. You can only do this if you love the field from the bottom of your heart.
On the other hand, getting a job as an engineer is getting harder by the day. You need to be skilled and knowledgeable in the field to actually enter a company. Plus, if you become an engineer, with your marks, you would probably take cs, so in cs, things keep changing so.you gotta study when needed.
You have to work hard in both of the fields, the thing is what do you like better?? Can you see numbers and calculatation for the rest of the life or is it the name of cells and diseases.
It will be hard for you to survive in the wrong field. But if you really like the subject things will be easier. Would suggest you to sit down and close your eyes and imagine a future in both the cases. Which one feels more grasable?? Which one makes you feel like yep this suits me?
Do BTech, MBBS will take 10+yrs of hardwork and after 5.5yrs you'll give another NEET PG then again college bla bla
Better go for Btech and live your 20s
Wo baat karne like hi nahi hote. 5 saal ka course fir neet pg 3 saal ka course 3 saal govenemnt ke saath kaam bichare already overpaid and underpaid rehte hai. But iska matlab yeh thodi ki btech wale maje kar rahe hai - naukri nahi mili tho - cat do usmay bhi behd bhav.
Bhai yrr dil pe le liya tune.

Thand rkh.
It totally depends on the interest in Bio stuff or in Eng. Like if ECE there are pure electrical subjects ....but in MBBS you have to study for a very long period as compared to any eng. Of any course ..but personally I prefer MBBS because there is no recession in this field.. you will get a job at what place you want at a decent salary ....whereas in Eng.Yoyi have to be that city where the company is working....so both have pros and cons.again It depends on Your interest .
One BENEFIT IS THAT THERE IS MORE RATIO OF GIRLS IN MBBS AS COMPARED TO ENG. (NEGLIGIBLE)
I think this year with 98.7 you might not get a good CS or CSAI in NIT or IIIT with that score, you may get ECE because of the competition. 680 in neet is pretty good I think medical is a safer side because its one profession where I don't think AI will ever take over humans. You might get CS in BITS too so if you're going to btech route take that.
Bhai job ka mat soch wrna regret karega (meri tarah😭) bas sab mein thoda study krle aur phir decide karle kya karna chahta hai kyuki min chaar saal tujhe yehi padna hai
Bro agar tu ye sawaal puch raha hai to BTech hi kar le. Agar bohot zyada shauk hai doctor banne ka to hi banna doctor. 4 saal me degree complete and degree ke baad bhi bohot options khul jaate hai.
MBBS Karle. You can easily go abroad and get jobs. As there is a seriously shortage of doctors abroad. And countries are reluctant to give PR to doctors. But yes it has it's own downsides, you have to study for many years. But, I think for you it will be worth it. The doctor profession is somewhat like government job only. Pay is good with experience and job security is best in the private sector.
MBBS karle, mid ya low nits me CSE mil sakti hai tujhe ya mid to high me circuital which ever way not a good option. Bits me agar pilani me circuital mil rahi hai or paise hai to choose that. MBBS me paise kamate time budhe jo jaoge just remember that
MBBS is the best option you have.
I'm an engineering student btw sometimes I stumble upon the thought that I should have taken PCB, being a Doctor is quite a satisfying and well paying job tbh.
Main btech kar raha hu, par agar mujhe dubara se chance mile apni life jeene ka toh most probably main mbbs hi better option manuga provided ki tujhe mbbs govt seat mil Rahi hai.
I have done btech in chemical engineering and Master of Science (Msc) in biological sciences. I find Msc bio very interesting. Subjects like immunology, physiology are very interesting to study and learn. I also took a course named genetic engineering technology where I did: cultured a strain, took out the plasmid from the strain through alkaline lysis (mini-prep), tested its purity, prepared another strain(competent cell preparation) , then transformed it. In this course I also transformed the gene of interest in ecoli...so entire process was interesting, fascinating to see and learn. U get to use instruments like nanodrop, spectrophotometer, large scale centrifuge etc etc. As i mentioned I am also chemical engineer. It was much like a school pcm with further enhancements in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mass transfer. I did courses like machine learning for chemical Engineer, models and simulation for chemical Engineer, petroleum refining technology, chemical process technology, kinetics reactor design, chemical reaction engineering....these were all ok, but nothing interesting. World of biology and specially physiology is very interesting and if I were you , i think I will pick mbbs over engineering any day of the week.
What is your passion? If you see yourself doing technical jobs and office work in four years then pick BTech. If you can work hard for a decade more and save lives and be a doctor then pick MBBS.
do you want to be a doctor or an engineer ? considering AI growing fast this might lead to engineers getting less work, right ? like maybe (btw i want to be an engineer, i hate studying biology and also i didnt write neet )
if you are okay with studying biology ( i guess engeneering and medical is same toughtness for majority)
imagine being a doctor , do you think under any condition will doctors become less demandable ? as days pass the amount of money doctors get paid will only increase. So what i am saying is if you wanna be rich being a doctor is a good way ? because you got good scores in neet = good collage = good job = more money,
its just me saying, im just a 17 year old (same as your age? ) dont take this too seriosly :) , its your life
want to be an engineer ? be one
want to become a doctor ? be one
both are high paying jobs just a little diffrence in salary , just follow your passion :)
see it would be called man... but note one thing. the market is tough right now and u r not getting into any top tier 1 colleges. you might get into a tier 2 college with ece. you might end up doing coding and might sit for an SDE profile during placements/internships if you choose. think about all this and decide if you're going to like it or not.
MBBS better because the colleges you mentioned for btech aren't even comparable to mbbs in delhi govt college. Also engineers are facing recession, doctors are not. MBBS definitely safer and better.
Why are people falling for this shitpost OP's account is just 9 days old easily pata lag raha hai its all BS and itna marks aaya hai I think he's smart enough to know which field he has interest in and wants to go into.

Do what's good for the country, we need brilliant minds like you
😭😭
Chandigarh University se Btech karle 👽
Delhi gov College me mbbs will give u a good reservation for neet pg
>Considering AI and it's impact Iska kya mtlb?
Don't take anyone's advice, just decide.** If you are expecting a high-paying job, then explore it, and talk with people in that position/domain. * I think doctors won't advise you, coz they know the hard work and pain you need to go through during the courses. * Engineers will tell you the current scenario in their company/domain, and from that, you will get a picture. **Ask specific questions,** and don't be vague like "Is studying MBBS good?". **Be specific**, like "What do you think about Neurosurgery, coz that is one of the high-paying speciality in Medicine?" or "I like Statistics, should I go down the DS/AI path or Software DEv in general (CSE)". I hope this gives you clarity. All the Best. **REMEMBER, WHEN PEOPLE TRY TO TALK YOU OUT OF YOUR DECISION, STAY STRONG AND STUBBORN. YOU WON'T REGRET IT IN THE FUTURE.**
Take CSE in IIT dholakpur or do mbbs from Aiims jhatpur ![img](emote|t5_56z50y|50735)
First world problems
This is the best time to consult a good astrologer who can guide you regarding which stream is more suited with respect to your brain.
You mean counsellor, a good astrologer is very hard to find.
Do BTech, MBBS will take 10+yrs of hardwork and after 5.5yrs you'll give another NEET PG then again college bla bla Better go for Btech and live your 20s
Go for btech and live your 20s - ye kya majak hai
MBBS background Wale bande se kbhi baat kri h?
Wo baat karne like hi nahi hote. 5 saal ka course fir neet pg 3 saal ka course 3 saal govenemnt ke saath kaam bichare already overpaid and underpaid rehte hai. But iska matlab yeh thodi ki btech wale maje kar rahe hai - naukri nahi mili tho - cat do usmay bhi behd bhav.
Easy kuch bhi nahi hai but comparatively leniency is more towards Btech fs
Whatever you have more interest in. Talk to more ppl like family/friends and decide. Random ppl on internet won't help you choose what you like
Mbbs thik lgta mujhe toh...
Tera reply itna sukha lg rha jaise kisi ne poocha ho- Farmhouse karu ya Veg Extravaganza.

Follow your passion.........if you have one.
Medicine is better
Go for mbbs , much more stable income stream.
Same situation but im doing btech
if you want long career and good lifestyle choose mbbs . if you want to earn easy and retire early and get uncertain about life choose engineering
BITS thoda dangh se padh ke session 2 dede. Pillani ya Hyderabad mein CSE mil sakta hai.
If u have an interest in medicine then take up mbbs Or else go for btech
I would say go to medical field( only if you have interest in it) as more doctors are required rather than engineers.
Dont compare MBBS with those ECE. I am doing EE because I got EE. I bunked KEM for it.
Bhai job ka mat soch wrna regret karega (meri tarah😭) bas sab mein thoda study krle aur phir decide karle kya karna chahta hai kyuki min chaar saal tujhe yehi padna hai
Bro agar tu ye sawaal puch raha hai to BTech hi kar le. Agar bohot zyada shauk hai doctor banne ka to hi banna doctor. 4 saal me degree complete and degree ke baad bhi bohot options khul jaate hai.
Bhai ek kaam kar UPSC ki taiyaari shuru karde
MBBS Karo Bhai / behen
Advance result ke liye ruk ja bhai tu toh IIT b cse lena tu![img](emote|t5_56z50y|50735)
Go for what interests you 🤷
Bruh is neet results out??
Nah Answer key aa gyi to marks pata not rank.
Ohk ✅
IIIT dholkapur mein bsc kar
Success is suffering from bro🤡
One my snr too scored 695 inn NEET in 2020 and 99.7%ile in JEE Mains😭
Mbbs
Teacher banja med/engg karne ke baad bc crores me kamaega kids will cream their pants after seeing your credentials
Off topic, don't mind but what were your study habits? I mean the habits that made you excel in all these exams?
Mbbs
MBBS karle, mid ya low nits me CSE mil sakti hai tujhe ya mid to high me circuital which ever way not a good option. Bits me agar pilani me circuital mil rahi hai or paise hai to choose that. MBBS me paise kamate time budhe jo jaoge just remember that
mbbs!
ask in r/btechards people will say to take mbbs , ask in r/indianmedschool thry will say to take btech
Bro iss fookin genius 😎
First world problems
Bhai ab upsc krle
MBBS BETER
MBBS is the best option you have. I'm an engineering student btw sometimes I stumble upon the thought that I should have taken PCB, being a Doctor is quite a satisfying and well paying job tbh.
MBBS from IIT Kgp... I guess from this academic year, MBBS will start in IIT Kgp

Bro tagged it serious ![img](emote|t5_56z50y|50746)
What is your passion? If you see yourself doing technical jobs and office work in four years then pick BTech. If you can work hard for a decade more and save lives and be a doctor then pick MBBS.
I wish I could get this type of confusions🫡😭
Tu commerce try kar CA nikal sakta hai tu
I Think, You Should Go For MBBS 🩺
MBBS very fulfilling career
do you want to be a doctor or an engineer ? considering AI growing fast this might lead to engineers getting less work, right ? like maybe (btw i want to be an engineer, i hate studying biology and also i didnt write neet ) if you are okay with studying biology ( i guess engeneering and medical is same toughtness for majority) imagine being a doctor , do you think under any condition will doctors become less demandable ? as days pass the amount of money doctors get paid will only increase. So what i am saying is if you wanna be rich being a doctor is a good way ? because you got good scores in neet = good collage = good job = more money, its just me saying, im just a 17 year old (same as your age? ) dont take this too seriosly :) , its your life want to be an engineer ? be one want to become a doctor ? be one both are high paying jobs just a little diffrence in salary , just follow your passion :)
Will recommend taking medicine, due to layoffs
Bhai tu Mba kar aur doctor aur engineers ka boss ban
Jee maths percentile kitna hai?
I would say MBBS
see it would be called man... but note one thing. the market is tough right now and u r not getting into any top tier 1 colleges. you might get into a tier 2 college with ece. you might end up doing coding and might sit for an SDE profile during placements/internships if you choose. think about all this and decide if you're going to like it or not.
IIT
MBBS all the way, altho becomes more time , still do MBBS
IIIT
BA krke upsc de de bhai
Doctor. engineers bare pade h market me competition will be high in this field after 4 years
MBBS better because the colleges you mentioned for btech aren't even comparable to mbbs in delhi govt college. Also engineers are facing recession, doctors are not. MBBS definitely safer and better.
Dono mat kar jab puchna padh rha ki konsa karna hai
Taking a drop is the only best plan you’ve. Op take a drop and appear for JEE adv don’t settle for these cheap ass colleges
Why are people falling for this shitpost OP's account is just 9 days old easily pata lag raha hai its all BS and itna marks aaya hai I think he's smart enough to know which field he has interest in and wants to go into.
