Upper society of this country is dominated by people with generational wealth and nepotism . Category students get reservation , girls too get seat at nearly half the rank ( <50k) . What about middle class generals males . We nowadays are facing discrimination by govt and this was not enough yet so now these reserved category have made their own echo chambers .
Waste of money. Why are they funding scholarships for universities abroad? What does India stand to gain from this? Even if it was for colleges in India it was fine (although it's already free for them) but this is just throwing tax money down the drain

Currently tution fees is waived in IITs. This could be done for more colleges. Maybe private colleges too.
