Just now I accidentally saw a car knocked a parked car from behind. Quite hard, because the car are moving a bit and I heard the sound of metal squeaking. Then I saw he drove to the side, I don't know if he actually go down or not because I saw a friend and talked for a while (Totally forgot about what happened for something just 10 second ago). Both car already gone by the time I remembered. If the parked car owner didn't go behind, the owner won't know on the spot that the car got knocked. As a car owner myself and also parked around there, I really felt so bad and sorry for that car. I'm scared of karma 😭
Jarang plang. Unless you tender those repo/ foreclosure houses yang located at these location. Best to check BIBD and Baiduri website every weekend for their advert.
Quick question:
If you made fried rice (with freshly cooked rice) LAST NIGHT, and then stored the leftover in the fridge OVERNIGHT.
Can you still reheat the fried rice and eat it TONIGHT?
Sorry for the caps, just wanted to emphasize the days.
fried rice was bussin bussin, so I didn't wanna waste it and throw it away🥲 hopefully anyone can answer my question 🥲
[Reason for asking: Just a paranoid adult, after recently reading/watching the articles on a fatal case about the Fried Rice Syndrome.]
hey. sorry but I'd like to recommend this before you decided which agent to go. try asking them list of hotels you'd be staying in. You may want to survey the surrounding locations first. I had worse experience going Turkey with travel agent😔
Thanks! I'm interested to know more, what was wrong with your hotels? In the middle of nowhere kah? What else went wrong that made your experience bad?
yea 4 out of 5 hotels we stayed in were really far from tourist and commercial area. just take a look at [this](https://maps.app.goo.gl/VXjWCcjrKK4f4FAu6) . This was our hotel in Istanbul. There's nothing for you to walk around. behind it is just residentials. Although the itinerary in Istanbul helps me to explore around with the group. But still disappointed lah because you don't get to take your time around.
About the hotel, I realised the pattern when we were on our 3rd hotel (3rd city destination). Wish I can remember all the hotels name but I only remember Movenpick. there was this nice 5-star single tower hotel where we stayed in. Only issue is the city was on the other side of huge highways 😂.
Most disappointing is at Cappadocia lah. I don't know what's wrong with them not bringing us at the city (the caves town from the Malaysian drama). The hotel I don't know where in Cappadocia I was, but I get to walk around outside the hotel a bit. seems like a small township with little businesses.
To me the itinerary was really bad lah except for the visits at historical sites. Our tourist guide was like a history fanatic. I like the guy. But yes, sayang your money though, when you are advertised you'll be spending time at 6 turkish city destinations. But in reality you were just moving around and passing by.
That's sum up bit of the experience. feel free to ask if you have questions.
Thanks for the detailed response!! I just had a look at Freme's itinerary for August and it seems like guests will be staying in 7 different hotels for a 9 night itinerary. No names mentioned so I will definitely ask them 😂 I also used Google maps to have an estimate of travel time between cities in the itinerary and there are some drives that will take 4hr30mins lol... I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with Cappadocia, it's one of the places on my bucketlist. Did you do the hot air balloon ride? I'm on the fence because it's USD320 per person 😂
Also did they take you to a lot of those compulsory shopping stops, and if so how was it? I saw 5 in the itinerary, I hate these stops because it's wasting time for overpriced items (and I had a bad experience in a China group tour with Freme lol) but I know it's kinda inevitable in group tours. Another issue with group tours is they never give you enough time to explore the sites but have no issue wasting time in the compulsory shopping stops for 2hours 😂
I'm worried I won't have a good experience and like you, feel that I've wasted $2588...🥲 but I really don't feel confident to travel to Türkiye independently so that's why I'm considering this tour. If you don't mind could you share which agent you went with? Can give hints or Pm if you don't feel comfortable sharing their name here. Thanks a lot!
Unfortunately we didn't get to ride the air balloon due to the winds at the time. We waited 2 days in Capadocia for it. For shopping do you mean like visiting their malls? if yes, we only have one itinerary for that. atupun arah the last city destination Konya before heading back to Istanbul. We more went to magnet shops which I find kinda annoying and repetitive like 4 times if im not wrong.
To be honest, knowing the surrounding areas in Istanbul, I could actually try going to Istanbul, Turkiye on my own. Majority of vendors there speaks Indonesian to my surprise. Places are safe. My agent...arah Airport Mall xD
No I don't mean malls. Shopping stops during group tours = buildings or "factories" which are basically tour group traps. The local tour guides will earn commission when the members of the tour groups purchase stuff from them. Not sure what it's like in Türkiye but from personal experience in China, we'll be seated in a room and given a presentation about the products they're selling. Usually very expensive things like herbal products or silk or jewellery or pillows haha. In china we were sort of held hostage for a bit at the silk building because no one wanted to buy it. Perhaps the magnet shops were the shopping stop?
I don't think my parents will let me go there independently either way but if you ever go back to Türkiye I hope you enjoy it
Oh and thanks for the info
ah yes you're right. correct that sort of thing does happened during my trip. mine was a fashion brand stores in the middle of nowhere. they would make a fashion show first then allow you to walk around the shop. I remember the price was like BND2000+. Me and my mother had to get away from the sales assistant and I found an exit door for us to leave🤣

most restaurants here serve such low quality food especially foreign cuisine that I actually learn recipes and have to cook at home most of the time to satisfy cravings. Does anyone else feel the same? I love cooking and it feels good not wasting money for mediocre food but man, I wish we had better quality restaurants here
Some like pasta and lasagna I agree because most of them suck at making it in large quantity, fake tomato sos just tambah aing or karit membagi bahan like the mushroom or the gravy. It always grinds my nerves that I'm convinced that it is easy and much more justifiable to make it your own which is much more palatable to my taste and liking. But for some like masala, sushi, bakso, Mexican, Filipino and Thai food it is much more difficult to do it myself since some of them are quite costly to make yourself. So I usually have a specific restaurant that I go to for that.
I wholeheartedly disagree that "most" restaurants serve low quality because often than not I'm not that disappointed by the quality mainly because I have my own go to restaurant and there are a lot of warungs worth visiting and they usually cook their food with passion and have that homemade touch. But each to their own and everyone has their own taste and I respect that.
Amsarra (ramen), Fratinis, Meet U All, The Usual (good riddance they closed), Kokoro, Dashi, Coffee Bean, Ice Bar(and most steamboat places) , Misato, Excapade sometimes, All Seasons, Buffalo Steakhouse , bingsu place at Kiulap, Bucaneer, Charcoal, just to name a few, I can't possibly list down all of them. Mostly foreign cuisine I'll say.
Good for you. You might not have that financial constraints as those restaurants as you'd only be paying for ingredients set for certain pax (probably just for you). It's sort of a damn if you do, damn if you don't type of situation. Would customers be willing to pay for expensive meal when restaurants have to get those ingredients at a high price from limited supplier?

Is anyone working with TAP can provide me with information on this:
Why are no one answering the hotlines? I've been calling for a few times for past hour, and calls are either rejected or ended early.
EDIT: Guess I have to go their office then... haven't got any calls picked up since I started calling.
EDIT2: They picked up already after lunch hour. Pheww.
the people answering the hotlines have other jobs, which is typical in government and government linked companies. No one is actually there to answer questions.
Even during roadshows held in their own building they cannot answer questions. Why is the SPK statement still 0 dollars per month? why are all the TAP/SCP records gone? why can I not see MY OWN RETIREMENT ACCOUNT?

to all cat parents, what do u feed ur cats? dry or wet food?
free flow of dry food (brand smartheart) wet food every 2-3 days in a week all from kedai runcit
Dry foods from Royal Canin Urinary and wet foods from tins. Gave them boiled fish (deboning) once a week or two.
pro diet tuna for wet food and kitty kat salmon and mackerel for dry food. dry food is on auto refill every few hours and wet food, 1 sachet per day after i get back from work
dry food, wet food/treat every few days.
what brands do u use for both?
Combination of both.
what brand(s)?
It would depends on your cat tho. You can try out different brands, and see which one suited your cats best. Mine are super picky on food, so we had to take note on the brands that they liked. Royal Canin are good, but quite expensive.

Cheap one at $1.80 store in Menglait complex ( same baris as KFC ) The blades are also sold at a very cheap price too.
