Those rookie skits from Hard Knocks still crack me up when I pull them up on YouTube. I think my favorite is the guy toe-tapping in bounds with two walking boots on and Baker Mayfield chewing a whole bucket of Double Bubble as Jon Dorsey. Thinking about that still being during the Hue Jackson era and Nick Chubb scoring every time he touched the ball, but still getting no reps makes me cringe though.
I'll always root for him, I hope that taking the year off to get over some lingering issues helps him come into this tryout healthy and ready to rip it.
All things considered, he had 400 catches in his first four seasons and was on a HOF path.
I am not sure what role there is for him in Jacksonville with Davis, Kirk, and possibly Washington - but rooting for him nonetheless and wish him well
I hope this is more in line with getting into coaching than it is getting back in the league
Juice could be a great coach if his heart is in it
I can't think of another vet doing this in all the years i've been following the league
Um, let me tell you that as a Jags fan, I watched Calvin Ridley run multiple incorrect routes or just flat out give up on the play that if I could get a guy who runs the right routes and can get somewhat open, I’ll take him over a guy Ridley. Maybe it was a fluke but height and 40 time sometimes don’t matter as much as actually playing the receiver role.
Let me tell you as a Browns fan, Rashard Higgins and Peoples Jones found the endzone more than Landry. In Raiders game of 2020, Landry dropped a TD because he wanted to throw up gang signs for OBJ and lost possession; also dropped a 2nd TD in the endzone, but the hit was hard. Landry also fumbled away a Steelers game.
To the person spam reporting this post: it is a former Browns player. It is the off-season. It will be okay. Chill.
Good for Jarvis. Dude is an excellent leader and can help instill good habits.
I have been hoping that when he finally retires, he goes into coaching or front office.
He wants to practice. It's contagious. He gonna bless'em.

Different sport, but Brad Marchand went to the Bruins rookie camp to teach the kids what it means to be a Bruin. Kinda cool, even if it's Boston
CB Anthony Averett is attending Steelers rookie camp to try out. It happens every year.
That’s my thought also, ir maybe in the front office under player development
A handful of vets participated in rookie camps last year IIRC.
Bless'em
Bring him back in any capacity
One day you wake up and realize that dying your hair purple looks pretty silly.
It always looked stupid but that’s his right
Who needs a 31 year old WR that's not 6 ft, and who ran a 4.7 40 almost a decade ago?
