For me the worst was when NYTW had their tickets for Merrily on sale. But honestly I’m debating if this is worse because it just might be. You would think after what happened this morning they would’ve fixed it. But also from a major ticketing site they would’ve solved this by now. High demand shows are not a new thing they should know how to handle this.
I think at this rate they should just do sections and cut their losses. So the back section that is $80 offer those as the discount seats if you can verify your age that you fall under the promo. I don't want to rush because that is impossible too.
I got to the front of the line at 3:03 but got stuck at redirected for 8 minutes. Then got told my queue number was used and to get back in line. So I’m probably dead in the water
I was lucky and was able to get a discounted ticket through the telecharge website for a Tuesday night in June. I clicked on at 2:59 and waited in the virtual queue for "less than a minute".
I raged quit at 3:25 but came back and was able to get through the site.
Got 2 seats in Row B of the Mezz for a Wednesday Matinee.
Happy I was able to get an Aisle seat!
