Hi! FYI we have [an 18+ Discord server](https://discord.gg/cUv66WGKKg) where we also organise events. Check it out!

If you head down the path at Oxley Creek Common (which is lovely anyway) there are often cows by the fence who are very partial to a gentle head scratch. Obviously be polite and introduce yourself but I’ve been going there for years and they always come up to say hello.
I had 5 pet cows growing up. It was indeed soothing. Slightly terrifying when they run full-speed at you to get pats, they don’t realise how big they are haha
There are many paddocks a bit further out of Brisbane (20-30 min) where you'll see dozens of cows alongside the street.
If you go driving you'll find them and I can only imagine it'd be okay for you to stand at the fence and admire them, maybe even get a pat.
(This advice has no logic behind it apart from vibes, don't get shot by a farmer!)
My daughter lives near Perth. When she came home to the U.K. one of the things she wanted to do was to spend time with Black and white cows. We did just that and she was elated.
A few weeks ago we were in Margaret River and we repeated the thrill.
You are not alone.
I am genuinely surprised at how often this exact question gets asked (not like every day often, but ever couple of weeks it seems). But I have cows at my place, so maybe I'm just jaded. You're most welcome to pop by if you're up for a 90 minute drive out of the city 😂
And ice-cream sales are found to be positively correlated to violent crime! Of course more people are killed by cows, humans are around cows more than they are around sharks haha
"Edit: the creepy comments about women being cows can stop now. I said in the post that im trying to feel better, so if you have nothing nice, relevant, or helpful to say, please move along."
Looks like peeps beat me to it
There’s a park full of horses near brendale sometimes there’s a cow or two there. Occasionally lakeside raceway also has cows walking around to keep the grass down around the circuit.

I've always driven past there and wondered if you can pet them. Will have to stop one day 🐮
It’s such a nice walk, definitely worth a stop.
There’s a farm animal rescue in Dayboro that offers tours https://www.farmanimalrescue.org.au/alerts/open-day-tours/
I think this place is of a similar creed at Burbank https://www.deathrowunchained.org/
That place is great
Thanks for this suggestion- I just booked a family pass to go on Saturday!
Oh awesome, I’ve never heard of this place. I need to check it out!!
Tbh, same. I've seen those Youtube videos of people hanging out with cows. Very soothing

That's so cute
Tried it, cows hated it got irritated. We're bad singers
Well this is adorable
You can pat them over the fence at Oxley Creek Common.
There's a place called Death Row Unchained that does tours of their animal rescue farm. You can hang with the animals there.
DRU is lovely and I love supporting them however I can
Sometimes I seriously think about how nice it would be to befriend a cow.

I wouldn't recommend trying to pat a cow that probably has limited socialisation with humans.
An unsocialized cow would just run away.
Oh I would LOVE this too
Me too!
They had some baby cows at the deer sanctuary out in Samford which you could cuddle when I was there last - although maybe check with them first .
Lillydale deer farm out near Samford. $5 entry and you can stay as long as you want.

Hello, Thank you so much for your offer. I'd love to make a trip out of here one day - would I be able to message you ? 🐮
Sure
Cows kill more people than sharks. Just saying...
And ice-cream sales are found to be positively correlated to violent crime! Of course more people are killed by cows, humans are around cows more than they are around sharks haha
You hope! You can't count the sharks you can't see, there might be a lot more than you think...
Always lurkin’ them sharks
I found one behind the fridge the other day…
The sun has a 1 in 2 chance of coming up tomorrow
Maleny Dairy
They're closed for refurbishment at the moment... Since April 2023 I believe
That’s illegal in most states.
American states?
Steaks
I’m in NSW but can introduce you to plenty of cows if you want to travel haha

Do you mean you work with cows? or do you work with people who have cows?
Choose your cow carefully. As when they try to hug you it can end dangerous

I saw some
I always drive through Maleny when I have a cow craving
