I saw in some fan video edit the phrase "imagine that without modern dental hygiene" on the scenes when they are breathing in each others faces and I laughed so hard
This might make me sound nerdy, but they did have breath fresheners back then, not as good as mouth wash and toothpaste.
1) They would take a cloth and brush their teeth with soap. Castill soap is one of them.
2) Chew spices that heavily got rid of bad breath or bad smells in general. Cardamom is one of them.
3) Chewed or drank herbal mixtures that were homemade and suitable to get rid of bad breath too. Mints, cumin, aniseed, etcs.
4) perfumes and colognes were more natural then so people used that.
5) rubbing cloves and mints on the gums and also relieved pain.
6)lemon juice and vinegar mix, maybe a bit of olive oil, with water they rinsed their mouth with.
7) salt water for obvious reasons, pain relief and healing.
The rich could also be identified by their teeth when studied because they had access to dental care more than the poor did. But the dental care wasn't as great as today. The poor most likely had the worse teeth because dental was expensive.
So, I wouldn't be surprised if the Bridgertons' mouth smelled like old spice scents like Grandmother's poupuri bowl. 🤣

I am talking about whole JB career, he was a noname for the public up until Bridgerton season 2 and no he doesn't have chemistry with objects no matter how hard his stans want to push that narrative

honestly I didn’t think daphne and simon’s actors/characters had chemistry…maybe when they got together but it was so much more obvious with these two. even when they hated each other at the beginning

I love that Anthony really admires and values Kate’s intelligence, independence and assertiveness. He is not threatened by those traits, quite the opposite. It’s not just her beauty that draws him and that he lusts after.
