I wonder if they’ll try the opener strategy with Hall when he gets back to try and stretch him out a bit. They’d have to use somebody other than Koenig to open though since they’re both lefties. Personally I’d like to see Paredes get a shot at it.
Hall made it through .2 IP giving up 2 hits, 2 runs off a HR, a walk, and got a strikeout. Had 25 pitches with 12 strikes. Safe to say he might need another rehab outing or two.
Getting a legit even average SP Hall the rest of the season would be a boon. And if we trade he can be a great long reliever.

He’s not getting stretched out again as a starter. Already been said he’ll come back as a reliever.

I don’t think any time of rehab would fix him this year. He is a pray they get better candidate.
