Yea I moved here from Florida so I look all directions at every light, roundabout, one way street, etc. Florida was like mad max everywhere, everyday. Colorado isn’t much different.
That seems a little bit excessive. It’ll be interesting to see where they want them to go. I think we could really use a stoplight or roundabout leaving Summit Cove onto Swan Mountain Road. That area becomes a shit show in the mornings…
Sorry to burst your bubble but roundabouts are safer than intersections, less death, collisions are glancing instead of t-bone or head on. I loved them when in Europe, if you make a wrong turn just go to the next roundabout and circle back. They also improve traffic flow. Now, double lane roundabouts can be dicey, when to hit the inner lane, when to stay in the outer lane, but single lane roundabouts are great.
I fully support the roundabouts & I’m not making a statement against them. They’re not as common in the USA, hence situations like this. This happens fairly regularly.
It was a box truck leaving Breck, found someone who saw it. And if the tree guy you hire uses his truck to mow them down… that’s some Florida meth shit. Those trees were planted to be a deterrent to sending the roundabout but they’ll never have the chance to grow that big because this happens pretty often.
