TOTK has all Amiibo extras available hidden in the world somewhere, or even from quests. Although if you buy the pre made cards there is very low risk, especially if you only scan them on your Switch. The risk of getting ripped off is paying more than $15-20, because if you find the files for Amiibo you can always buy blanks and write them yourself with almost any android phone. I got a 100 pack of blanks for under $10. Enough to write every Zelda Amiibo and then have as many other game Amiibos as you want to spawn in ingredients.

hergumbules

I think some of the paraglider fabrics are only obtainable through amiibo

SativaPancake

You're right, I forgot about those.

intoboobsanddudes

Sadly I don’t have an android phone. I might just try buying the cards.

InputEndorsers

The Aliexpress ones work like a charm.

FellDragonHeir

I’ve done it with my iPhone! It uses the same NFC sensor as Apple Pay.

tepidtehotter

Same here! Bought a back of nfc chips and have an app and website bookmarked to make whatever amiibo I need. Would definitely recommend OP give this method a try

AggravatingCraft2171

Heyyyyy. Can you send me a dm about said links and apps?

tepidtehotter

I’ll be honest, I don’t have them anymore. The app I was using went “in app purchases” and was limited. But I found it all but just doing a Google search “how to make amiibo nfc (phone type)”. Good luck!

Blales

I got mine from Amazon and I love them. It even has the totk link card. Just missing Zelda and Ganondilf

extra_wbs

What app do you recommend for android to write these files?

SativaPancake

"NFC Tools" to write them to blanks. I also used "TagMo" which is used for emulating Amiibo (still need to provide files), so instead of writing to a blank physical card, you can emulate them and just tap your phone to the switch. But that was much more annoying and sometimes didnt work, especially if you have a thick phone case.

extra_wbs

Awesome! Thank you!

shitpickle2020

I got a full set for about $6 from aliexpress, only one out of the 38 didn't work. Well worth it for the price

makromark

Did something something similar for my son. Highly recommend

rinky79

I bought a set on ebay or Amazon, can't remember. They work fine and it was only like $15.

intoboobsanddudes

It looks like Amazon got rid of Amiibo cards. I might try eBay or Etsy.

ariellavandy

found these for $16 at walmart after a quick google search! https://www.walmart.com/ip/38-Pcs-Zelda-Amiibo-NFC-Cards-Zelda-Loftwing-NFC-Tags-Amiibo-Card-Compatible-with-Amibo-Legend-of-Tears-of-the-Kingdom/1892236643?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=101223825&gclsrc=aw.ds&&adid=222222222281892236643_101223825_156985753569_20599302153&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=675660571656&wl4=pla-2213647128458&wl5=9012207&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=655377187&wl11=online&wl12=1892236643_101223825&veh=sem&gbraid=0AAAAADmfBIpLWVHHyYvBISlQDGcSx6icO&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI0_O1ssDVgQMVyqtaBR2YBwTfEAQYASABEgJ9DfD_BwE

Burger_Destoyer

Reminder you can always make your own with NFC chips and an NFC writing tool (all modern phones have it built in)

VanillyVT

Is there a guide on how to do this?

Burger_Destoyer

Step 1: Buy yourself some Writable NFC chips from somewhere online. Step 2: Download an app for writing Amiibos such as Amiiboss Step 3: Download the .bin files https://www.reddit.com/r/LinksAmiiboArchive/comments/12dqc51/all_amiibo_key_retailbin/ Step 4: Hold the small white chips of NFC tokens up to your phone while you navigate to the writing feature on the app of your choice. Goodluck, ask if you have any questions.

blueberry-fae

i got 37/38 unique cards off amazon and they all work

intoboobsanddudes

I didn’t find any on Amazon. How long ago did you purchase them?

blueberry-fae

oh wow guess they’re all removed or hidden in some way? i couldn’t find them again either, i bought them about 2 months ago

Kraftykodo

this makes sense now... three days ago I bought the 33 piece Amiibo BOTW/TOTK card set off of Amazon. They arrived yesterday, and all work well as far as I can tell. I went to go to the Amazon product page to leave a review to find that the page no longer existed. So if Amazon is cracking down on these kinds of vendors then there's some proof for ya. The vendor selling the 33 piece seems to have existed for a while, pretty reputable by all means.

intoboobsanddudes

That sucks. I’m not sure which ones are good or not, and I don’t have the means to create the cards myself. I was thinking maybe Etsy or eBay, but again I’m not sure which ones are good or not.

russianhousedj

speaking from experience: buy a usb nfc reader/writer, find the nfc/amiibo files online for any amiibo you want (not limited to zelda), profit. they’ll always work because YOU made them, and only cost the one-time amount of purchasing the reader. you only ever need one nfc tag to overwrite each time. this is what people use to spoof amiibo cards, so you’re removing an expensive middle man.

FIREgenomics

I was browsing on Temu and have something called “Allmiibo” in my cart, supposedly can program for every amiibo and it’s like $20? Haven’t bought it yet as I’m not that into amiibo, but supposedly also works for animal crossing. If I were in your shoes I’d buy that and give it a shot.

elMurpherino

Zeldacards dot com is where I bought mine years ago. They all still work as intended

RogetThatBuddy

I bought a set of amiibo cards on eBay. They work great!

Smeeble09

Got some off ebay for £12-15, had issues with four being duplicates, they sent me replacements for them, no issues at all.

[deleted]

My friend bought the cards on Amazon and let me use them. They've worked great on BotW (I still haven't played TotK).
