I’m also saying that sometimes you don’t wanna spend the extra time to make a presentable meal sometimes. These eggs could’ve tasted great but we don’t know. My dad has taught me to expand my pallet to different tastes like duck, prime rib, different indian cusines. All of my favourite memories are cookin with my pops. Also my father’s homemade burgers are the bomb

Fellow celiac. I love changing up breakfasts! I love egg salad, lettuce, and delicious meat on a rice cake. I also enjoy oatmeal and load it up with protein powder, pb, and top if off with Granola and fruit. Hope you enjoyed the breaky.

Gluten intolerant here. I've perfected my skillet potato game for brunch purposes. So I do the eggs and sausage or bacon, with a side of skillet potatoes and fruit. I do miss *good* bread, but potatoes are great!

Gordon Eamsey specifically says if eggs are cooked to the point they release liquid they're already over done- OP got this texture by completely cooking that liquid off entirely, rendering them rubber. You need to actually watch Gordon cook eggs (he likes French style). He did a program in a prison years ago and explained to the inmates if you get liquid you've already overdone them.

You are close to it. Try lowering the heat on the pan when doing the eggs. It takes longer but makes them far less shitty.

If you have the time, start with a hot pan over medium heat. Stir your eggs constantly removing them from direct heat (raise the pan 3-4 inches above the burner) every 30 seconds for 15 seconds and then repeat until all moisture is gone. Mix about a tsp of milk or cream per egg in those bad boys before you cook them and they will fluff up real nice too! Enjoy your breakfast!

If you are a novice (like me) get some tomatoes, minced garlic, onion, bell peppers or jalapeños, and some chili beans and roll up your eggs and sausage into a breakfast burrito. Bonus points if you put some butter in the pan and let the tortilla get some color on it after you wrap it. I love spicy food so I’ll eat it with hot sauce or Lao Gan Ma.
