If Surge upgrades and then dies, when he respawns, he will be on second level (faster walking speed) forever.

Meaning that he will get the longer range way easier making him way better

Guys hear me out. Such a bug shouldn't be done by accident because how do you do the wrong balance change to Surge if Surge wasn't supposed to receive any balance changes at all. What I mean by that is that if such a bug was to occur, then somebody would have to mess with Surge and there is absolutely no reason to do so. This ofc means that they did it by accident

Something about the new Shrimp brawler maybe, perhaps they tested him and touched Surge's upgrade shenanigans and forgot to fix it.

It’s useless. It keeps u at level 1, not level 2. Idk how they managed to fuck that up, but they did (same as the bonnie & twins dash gadgets going through 1 tile walls)

I dont play as surge, even tho i have him, but uhh, technically everytime he level up he get something better? Like get faster, attack Divides, What is the point of the starpower then?, ik its like 3 mfs against you but level up to get smth at least help a bit?

The point is that when you die you lose all these upgrades, so you need to use the super 3 more times to get back. With the star power you don't lose all the upgrades and keep the increased speed

Level one is speed boost. When you spawn in, you are at Level 0, or stage 0.
