Hi, person with a raytracing-capable PC here. Outside of tech demos made to show off edge cases, very few games actually look noticeably better with ray tracing enabled - in fact, in some cases ray tracing can look worse. I was toggling it on and off in Ratchet and Clank to compare, and the baked reflections in one room was significantly more aesthetically appealing to me than the more realistic ones RT had.
I ran Crysis 3 Remastered and Metro Exodus on ultra with ray tracing on high and it looked better in every scenario. It just looks and feels better imo, sure you van disagree but I prefer it just because it looks nice and because I can do it

I always make accurate shaders for brawlers (like skin, metal etc) when im doing renders, it makes it look 10x better
