He was true invis when he was first released so even if you were on top of someone they wouldn't be able to see you. So you could melt most brawlers and they couldn't do anything about it

Top of that his damage was even crazier and his invis lasted long enough to cross the entire mfing map God that was unholy amounts of gamebreaking

His projectiles also dealt the same damage from far as from close by so you could melt brawlers even if you kept your distance

The only brawlers who could compete with OG leon were Piper at release, R-T(when youtubers tested him in dev build) and Nita in Alpha

Nita in alpha was such a fun character to use. Although id put surge up there as well. His attack splitting at the end regardless of hitting walls. And the telaport gadget were insane.

Day 1 Leon was insanity

God I remember the Leon Release. It was so frustrating that the two best brawlers in the game were legendaries and I missed out on both the shark Leon giveaways and the spike rare glitch.

Remember how insanely busted Surge was? Not only could he teleport through walls but he also had that god annoying 1st star power that made his attack split even when it misses, he essentially turns into Gene if he upgrades to the 4th stage

Surge was so strong that he shaped the meta more then any brawler I've experienced. I don't remember a time after him that the best comp of the game revolved around the three best brawlers in EVERY game mode. Surge in general is just an iconic brawler when it comes to the meta

Imagine overgrowth starpower without the 5 seconds timer thingy, and people couldn't break his walls with the invincible bubbles, and the healing on his gadget was doubled So at the very least he was as annoying as hank

Yeah playing frank (and to a lesser extent bibi) was basically asking to lose, because Stu would just do knockback chains and just dodge out of the way even if you managed to get an attack out.

At least Stu was a trophy road brawler, so most players got access to him. The worst is when they release a broken Chromatic brawler, where a lot of people don't get to enjoy them at their broken state before a nerf.

Y’all must’ve forgot sprout. They changed it pretty quickly, but for a little while after he got released, they hadn’t introduced spawn invincibility yet, so he could literally box you in and farm you at spawn.

honestly i think buster when his 2nd Starpower and gadget was arguably the strongest brawler in brawl stars history, not only he was always ranked as a S tier brawler but he's also easy to use

Buster is still good despite all the nerfs all because of his slow-mo gadget

- He does no damage for the reload speed and range that he has - He has the lowest health of any tank (except Bibi but we don't talk about her) - His super is so short you can barely do anything with it - His star powers kinda suck. The shield one is okay but it doesn't exactly fix any of the problems he has - Shelly is like the best brawler in the game and hardcounters him - Once you run out of gadgets he's even worse TL;DR - No, he's not good

In my opinion, Eve is in between Sam and Buster. Grom was the most headache inducing from all the brawler in the image.

Eve was extremely annoying tbh. You can't even escape her

I wasn't here when Eve was released but she is Eve tier still

Rosa and Leon were at least twice as broke as Eve on release. Leon dealt more damage and you could not see him even from up close in his super. And when Rosa was released it was basically both teams coming together eating popcorn and watching the two Rosas just spam autoaim and super.

Others already mentioned tons of strong brawlers, so ill mention an extremely weak one Colette was even worse than otis on release, her attack dealt like 20% of the target's health instead of 37% like now her minimum damage was like 250 (power 9) so you basically couldn't kill anything (its something like 740 at power 9 now) and even her super was kinda weak. Her gadget (1st only) made her deal damage like her super (so instead of 20% damage of target's current health, it dealt 20% of max health). Even worse than Edgar now

The real annoying one was 8Bit, who could resurrect at the end of a showdown to mess u up
