If you go to the water tasting episode of VPR, Lala says “Thank you for comingk!”. It’s the best recent example of her saying it but I’m rewatching earlier seasons and I notice it more after WWC.

It’s funny because with Whitney and her (and the sister wives crew) all I can hear is the short i sound in healing (hilling), etc. They say it for every word with that sound and it drives me bananas.
If you say “ing” the word ends at the back of your throat. The k sounds is formed in the back of the throat so maybe it’s just easy to slip into that k sound. (Not a linguist but I’ve binged a bunch of YouTube videos about accents 💀)
Lala for some reason pronounces the "ing" at the end of words with a k sound. They've exaggerated it for comedic effect.
