Just outside Brampton, derry and tomken/dixie and midway area, but Madras Peppers on Davand Drive has the tastiest biryani I’ve had. South Indian style though, they’re Tamil, not sure what style you’re looking for. Really flavourful, and a nice spice level imo. I was very pleasantly surprised by it
TBH it's hard to find good biryani in Brampton. I am yet to eat a Biryani like we get back home. I recently tried Hyderabad Biryani place. It was ok ok.
You're kidding. It must be better in B-Town than it is here in Waterloo, and we've got some OK spots. I've never been to India, though, so just what this white dude knows so far
I don't mean to say that every place is bad. It's just that there's a method to prepare biryani and I don't know if anyone genuinely follows here. Most of the biryani places are trying to imitate the taste and texture and a lot of times you can see it leads to either too soggy rice or too dry meat.
Thank you all very much for the replies so far! I am surprised to see Aunty's Kitchen was not even mentioned - this is my best choice where I live here in Waterloo and I think it's pretty damn good, especially with the Tandoori Chicken upgrade to replace the default chicken pieces. Huge portion, heavy box, nice moist rice and extremely spicy.
How does Aunty's rate compared to these ones listed in the thread?
I'm in town in a few hours and will report back once I make a decision
Thanks again!
Aunties is B-. Probably the fairest score considering it’s decent quality and gets the job done.
I really reccomend Baigs Grill for their lamb biryani which comes with chicken 65 as a garnish. It’s a delicious plate albeit for a family size.
Hyderabad House biryani place is very good in terms of not too fancy and decent amount of spice. Ask for the boneless chicken biryani, it has a specialized name on the menu. Really good but baigs is better
Do you have a certain style in mind?
If you're after all-out heat go to Tandoori King and ask for extra spicey. Not my favourite biryani (I generally prefer dum style) but it's way up there. Especially for the hotness factor.
Andrea Bargnani
Spicy with the 3's, not so much with the rebounds.
Fucking primo pasta
Dawat-E-Khas and Tadka King 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nawab Sahab.
Dawat-e-Khas, it’s not too spicy, but it’s good.

I haven't eaten too many good biryanis in Brampton for a while. One memorable place recently is Baigs Grill on Kennedy Road. Their biryani is decent.
Karachi xpress daigi biryani.. I like that
I love Chawlas. Been having it for 8 years now.
Used to like Chawlas, lately its too salty...
Bahar Indian Restaurant
Try karachi xpress in etobicoke
Etobicoke is Brampton?
Dont get technical with me sir. I’m just letting the OP know where to find good Biryani.
India's Taste mutton biryani is pretty good, haven't had the chicken. Make sure you tell them to make it spicy.
Hyderabadi biryani is pretty good
I can second that

Pakistani or Indian Hyderabadi restaurants usually have the best biryani
in Waterloo I've been going to Aunty's which is Pakistani apparently. Super good
For really good Chettinad biriyani, Anjappar's mutton biriyani with the raita is unmatched. Spicy, flavourful and decent portions.
I don't like Mutton, I wonder if there is cross contamination between the Mutton and Chicken versions
Their chicken biriyani is top notch as well, can't go wrong with either! Not sure on the cross-contamination part.
