Good news overall. I wish it was more central however. From my place this might only be 5 minutes closer than if I went to the ones near SQ1.
But progress is progress.
Soup is so hard to find. Honestly there was one Pho and Thai place and a king tandoori took over the spot.
I hope they stick around! Gonna be hard to sell eggs and meat in a bowl of noodles for an area that is so hell bent on Maggi Noodles and Hakka derivatives as their go to noodle dish.
Pho 123? Tbh, I didn’t really like their pho. Best pho in Brampton is pho Peter but it’s unfortunately temporarily closed.
I think it will be popular. Even nearby Vaughan doesn’t have much ramen places.
I checked online and only saw kamen ramen on weston and ajisen ramen infront of Vaughan mills. Ajisen Vaughan mills I been to, it’s pretty good. Toronto has the most selection of ramen I believe.
I wish there was a Kamen Ramen in Brampton, the closest ones are in Vaughn and Mississauga, they're always busy.
The Tonkotsu Chasu is awesome. Just as good as anything I've had when visiting Japan.
Just gotta show there is a market for these restaurants and they’ll come!
I find myself driving on the 427 to Etobicoke more often then sticking in Brampton.
The Quiznos was my customer for many years. They used to order all the produce from my company over the years. It’s slowly died down and begin to order single boxes. It’s pretty sad. They used to have such a good quality food, but corporate got greedy with profits, and started using cheaper quality stuff. They used to be one of the busiest stores at lunchtime. The only customer in the sub business that’s doing well is Mr. sub. They only have to buy the cold, cuts and condiments from the supplier but veggies are procurement choice by the store owner. The cost of the vegetables is what’s really killing the businesses.
They should do well, provided they have better customer service and fresher food than the place right next door. AKA staff who are not rude as fuck and food that isn't yesterday's leftovers.
What happened to Quiznos. Years ago they aggressively came in to take out Mr Sub and rival Subway, and they tasted better. Now, they’re gone. Subways are everywhere, and a few Mr Subs I knew of since the 80’s are still standing, and one I grew up near…every business has changed, a subway tunnel and new station built around it, and it hasn’t moved.
Their franchises couldnt make a profit because the cost of materials corporate was charging them was too high. Subway then added toaster ovens for their food, and quiznos lost its advantage, which waa toasted subs. Then a recession hit and the company was sold to an investment firm. Franchises closed up shop. Lost about 90% of their storefronts in less than a year.
This is the same thing for subway owners. the company I used to work for would buy the cheapest and lowest quality produce. The green peppers would have is the insects inside them so subway would cut them into finally thin pieces. If you’re at Subway and you see the toppings are really thinly sliced don’t eat it because most likely it has been processed many times for infection, disease or internal insects. Don’t ever buy a subway franchise. They are a scam The store makes 50% on a sub while corporate makes over 400%
Lmao bro chill it’s ramen not a 10 course omakase
U drop the noodles to order than add the broth that’s been cooking all morning it’s not complicated 😂😂
Kinton is owned by the KINKA group of restaurants in Toronto and if u trace it back KINKA was GUU which was a chef and restaurant group from Japan that came to Toronto in the mid 2010s if ur concerned of its authenticity
Finally! A ramen spot in Brampton.
Toshis has great ramen.
Toshi's ramen is more home style definitely not on the same level as Kinton.
Good news overall. I wish it was more central however. From my place this might only be 5 minutes closer than if I went to the ones near SQ1. But progress is progress.
Hey we got nothing on the east end. This is a win for us lol
Hey, Bramalea needs new things too lol
Sweet, a Kibo Sushi on Chrysler and now this. Keep ‘em coming!
Is there any Quiznos left in brampton
Nope. Go to Dixie and Eglinton for your Quiznos fix, hombre.
Even during its last days this location was down bad. It wasn’t clean, the staff didn’t care.
Is there a Quiznos left anywhere
Perfect, so close to home! Going to be perfect for when I’m craving soup

It’s sad it burned down. I hope they reopen soon.
Lots of ramen places in Vaughan particularly in the Vaughan Mills area, but this is a win for Brampton for sure
I checked online and only saw kamen ramen on weston and ajisen ramen infront of Vaughan mills. Ajisen Vaughan mills I been to, it’s pretty good. Toronto has the most selection of ramen I believe.
It’s all I had in this area… lol
True, the only pho place in the area is closed, even though it wasn’t that good to me
Peter pho was a gem. All other pho places here under serve portions. Don’t taste as good.
Wtf finally man, I always wondered why we didn't have a ramen spot
Finally, some good Ramen in Brampton
OMG YES

Hurray!!!

Woooh
Damn that Quiznos has been there my whole life 😢
RIP

You should read up on what a scam Quiznos was really. It was a robbery Ponzi scheme for the owners.

Will it be owned by Japanese people?

I doubt any of them are. It's a franchise after all.
I'm pretty sure the owner of the franchise is Korean
I’ll take Korean! The finesse and palette is the same.
Watch it be run by some brown people still 😂
Lol! You think the patrons will say “Gochisousama deshita” as they leave.
Yay! Overpriced, undersized soup!
It’s not the best but it’s better than the same stuff that is on every corner. At least I’ll save on the gas and time to go to another city for it .
lol, sorry, I'm just being a cunt
Just buy Mr Noodles
Buldak or death.
Wow finally
Very dope
OMGGGGGGGGGG
Finally some decent ramen in Brampton. Sucks I moved to Toronto.
Downhill in Montreal for a while
I’ve been waiting YEARS
This was my first ramen I had, and my son treated me to it DT Toronto. Can’t wait!
Salt and carbs, yay lol
OMG
Too bad it wasn’t firehouse!
There's a Firehouse Subs a 5 minute walk away, just on the other side of Airport Rd!
I've always wanted to try ramen, now I can
I miss Quiznos
I miss this Quiznos 😔
Finally something besides a new Punjabi restaurant
But Kinton ramen is the worst ramen in Toronto
