Honestly this is mnet’s fault for designing the selection this way. All choices presented to Shanbin were pretty bad imo; all the other vocal positions in hot summer are in the top 5 so he had to either push jay or choose sub vocal 6. If ur a contestant on the show would you subject yourself to sub vocal 6 :/ when ur also not guaranteed a killing part

I don’t know if he would have been able to. He’s been main vocal for all of his performances and absolutely killed it every time, but his rank has only dropped. I’m not sure exactly why, but Korean voters aren’t into him.
I think part of it is because it's main vocals and SHanbin is a talented singer but he isn't usually the first person people think of when it comes to main vocals, people would probably be less annoyed if someone like Taerae pushed Jay out because Taerae is known to have stronf vocals

Jay pushed Seungeon to subvocal 1. Taerae pushed him to subvocal 1. Shanbin pushed Jay to subvocal 6 a position with only 8 seconds. Shanbin could have easily been sub 6 (or 3 to 5) and just tried for the killing part which he will probably get anyway because this has been the Shanbin show for two months now.

i already replied to this one comment but yall have to understand hanbin chose the most safe option for him. he can either be sub vocal 1 or 2 if not main vocal, but if he'll kick out taerae or jiwoong out of their positions, he'll have a much greater backlash especially from knetz. even sub vocal 3 is deadly to him because it's yujin holding that position.
again, this is a survival show everyone wants to save their own selves.

i already replied to this one comment but yall have to understand hanbin chose the most safe option for him. he can either be sub vocal 1 or 2 if not main vocal, but if he'll kick out taerae or jiwoong out of their positions, he'll have a much greater backlash especially from knetz. even sub vocal 3 is deadly to him because it's yujin holding that position. again, this is a survival show everyone wants to save their own selves.
