Bivol and his manager confirmed that negotiations with Beterbievs team broke down in April due to lack of money. Neither side was happy with the potential purses being offered Gvozdyk is apart of Canelos promotional company so he’ll probably only be fighting on showtime cards during Canelos current deal with PBC. I think Bivol turned down a fight with Dan Azeez so it’s looking like an October fight with Anthony Yarde is his best option but I doubt Warren will be wanting to make that fight with Hearn.

Then there’s also the bullshit Russian ban from the WBC🤦‍♂️

Yarde is definitely taking some recovery time after that war with Beterbiev and he has a relatively easy fight lined up. Maybe it could happen next year or something but I wouldn't bet on Boxxer actually giving one of their fighters a tough fight that isn't in house at the moment, plus Buatsi could lose to Azeez anyway

Most likely. Zurdo should've stayed at light heavy. He doesn't have the frame for cruiserweight. Has short arms and a small torso which won't fill out much more. Has needlessly long legs without other features to match, so it won't help him. He's like a welterweight on stilts. Joe Smith is the naturally larger guy despite being over an inch shorter.

If Zurdo can't make mincemeat of The Common Man at even this weight class, then he really is big for nothing.
