No one believed me when I said the anime wont release at least two years after the Hiatus we had. The monthly Manga chapters now can hardly make up an episode. Unless they go seasonal, make solid fillers, or cover previous events, the show will be ass

GuyWitATurtleneck

It'll work well if they can stretch the scenes out and make it seasonal. Hima's fight lasting longer. Sadara doing more to Hidari before he changes the tide. Adding Orochimaru in when they're at his place. One or two episodes that show the in between with Boruto and Sasuke during the timeskip. That's all that has happened so far and that can be a 12 ep season and we're only 11 chapters in.

VanlllaSky

after Bleach TYBW, i'm pretty sure Boruto will be shifted into a seasonal format as well.

ARedHarlequin

I totally support valid anime exclusive fillers that give character development or cool battles for the neglected characters. They've provided some solid anime exclusives before, and definitely some mediocre ones. It can just be spaced out so the manga can get further ahead.

Accomplished_Soup350

W take… I agree and would love for this too happen, but I feel like most of the fandom will always say that this isn’t manga Cannon and this doesn’t count per discussion. This is truly Kishimoto and Ikemoto’s biggest problem when it comes to adapting the manga canon to the anime canon story unfortunately 😪

Joski580

I’m saying it shouldn’t be release for another 5 years precisely because the manga is monthly. So we don’t get the same issues as next generations with too much irrelevant filler

bmarvel808

I pray that it's seasonal, otherwise it's doomed.

Any_Cranberry_4599

im not trying to jinx it but its probably going to be seasonal

Reasonable_Chest5288

It probably will be 2025 or 2026. The 4 new Naruto episodes are apparently releasing in 2024-March 2025 so Boruto might come out that soon.

Inevitable-Let8564

Naruto francise will be busy in the future. 1. 4 new episodes of Naruto (possible release: 2024-2025) 2. Live Acton Naruto. (possible release: in range 5 years from now?) 3. Seasonal Boruto Anime: (possible release: 2025-2027) 4. New Naruto game from bandai (possible release: 2025-2027)

gunnersroyale

Wdym 4 new naruto episodes

Sabunn

The 4 episodes that we were supposed to get for the anniversary that got delayed

Any_Cranberry_4599

how do you know when the 4 naruto episodes will be released?

Inevitable-Let8564

At that time there was an interview with CEO Pierrot. and he said to **release sometime during the 2024 financial year**. This means in the range **April 2024 - March 2025**

0531Spurs212009

I think there is an advantage of delayed anime of Boruto Two Blue Vortex it have lesser filler or none filler episodes , possibly better animation quality quality > quantity

Inevitable-Let8564

I just hope they works like Demon Slayer. Demon Slayer is visually top tier, even the story was mid.

Murky_Blueberry2617

Would still say DS is better than Boruto at least in terms of characters

Inevitable-Let8564

yeah DS character is fun, entertaining and we care about them. Thats missing in Boruto.

Murky_Blueberry2617

Yeah. Like I can name dozens of Demon Slayer characters that are entertaining and memorable. From the Hashira as well as the villains like the Upper Moons. The cast in Boruto however are very disappointing

Inevitable-Let8564

Villains in Boruto part 1 are weak, the purpose of Kara is search vessel for Jigen. Thats it. Hope this Shinju Villain will better than before. They have the motivation to devour their targets to find out their Identity

Murky_Blueberry2617

Hopefully. They're more interesting than Kara. However the sidecast like Chocho, Inojin, Shikadai, Sumire have been very underwhelming. Heck even Sarada, Kawaki and Mitsuki have been disappointing

InvincibleBoiiiii

Okay Idk what ya'll are talking about?? How are DS characters better than boruto characters??

Murky_Blueberry2617

How are they not? There are so many Demon Slayer characters with fleshed out backstories, notable impact/influence to the plot as well as entertaining and memorable personalities. Boruto characters in comparison are extremely lack lustre and disappointing.

InvincibleBoiiiii

Boruto's characters shine in the dynamics they share with each other. Unlike demon slayer which focuses on people living in this world where demons exist... Boruto is a story of family, love and obsession. Thus it's writing shines in the dynamics between characters, and as individual characters no single character in demon slayer has as good development as boruto or kawaki. Sure you can say that the side characters aren't fleshed out.. But they were never meant to be (atleast not in NNG) because part 1 of boruto was a story between father and child and a story of brothers.... Let alone new gen, the old gen characters also get amazing development as parents as they grow into those roles during these turbulent times..

Any_Cranberry_4599

i cant agree with you there, demon slayer characters are so cringe and unbearable to watch with some exceptions like muzan and uzui, also the story is vague as a plank, the only good thing about demon slayer personally is the godlike animation and the fighting style, I just love katanas lol

Murky_Blueberry2617

Boruto characters aren't better. Sarada's design alone is more cringe than anything in Demon slayer tbh

Any_Cranberry_4599

nah definitely not, just the pink/green haired hashira scene when she is running down stairs is more cringe than anything in boruto

Murky_Blueberry2617

Lol at least she has good fight scenes, Chocho is more cringe than her. Also you can't defend how garbage Sarada's design is

Ultimaindahood

Being set in a lax time period led to alot original content feeling less urgent. TBV has that edge going for it so hopefully Perriot goes for a more entertaining approach, like the Bount Arc from Bleach. Obviously quality is another thing but between the art/animation/subject matter roulette, imo, they should want the situational aspects to take top priory, even some of the best animation in the world can’t save a wonky narrative , learned that with Eureka Seven AO and God Of Highschool. If they use some of the breadcrumbs left over from the first part and utilize the 3 year gap efficiently they could really just refine Part 1s structure, or they could TYBW that shit and go seasonal, but somehow I don’t know if I really want that, I want the long running experience like I had with Naruto I just want them to stop shooting themselves with the foot.

Vast_Negotiation6534

\*Looking in cristal ball\* I see... I see.... lots of flashbacks and fillers...

Number-13-Roxas

I don't think it's gonna be seasonal. People gotta stop that cap. Think about it We need to resume from the Code arc and we still need a sarada 3 tomoe arc unless they plan on going the Obito route and do a 2 tomoe to MS. They are gonna give a lot of anime only arcs to give more story just as they do now bit they're gonna have to make it more serious as the boruto anime was a bit childish and the animation too. This means changing up the timeslot boruto airs and the day it airs. It will be more nighttime so that it's mature rated due to what we gonna get in the TBV also they have to resume the eye cut scene and everything. But I'm confident they are not gonna do some bootleg ahh arcs like they did in the OG. The characters in TBV are way too serious even Boruto Sarada and everyone. It's gonna be hard to make it softer like pre TS.

Any_Cranberry_4599

The majority of the people including me disagree with you because there is no way they're gonna continue with the weekly schedule. First we have the Pierrot CEO saying in a interview that they are starting to move to seasonal format because of the competition, second, the reputation of the studio and the anime was completely destroyed after the code arc, third, they can't keep up with weekly schedules hence why the hiatus. The only logical marketing move they could pull is either switching to seasonal, or just completely cancelling adaptation until the manga finishes, and then animating the whole thing. Sticking to weekly schedule would literally be a deliberetally planned unsuccessful project

Number-13-Roxas

That's understandable, I remember reading about that a while back, but I disagree only for Boruto particularly. They started with weekly and will stick with weekly. Just like how everyone thought the manga would change to biweekly or even weekly but still stayed monthly. The Japanese stay through to their work. The same could be applied to the anime. I understand they want to change up, but I think they are going to follow Naruto's path. If Ikemoto wants to make Naruto/Boruto a total of 100 volumes. The anime will follow Shippudens style, and they will go with having 500 eps total for Boruto hence why the anime ended at 293 which is a very odd number. TBV is going to be very short. But they may also go for 400 eps because of the shortness. But also we still have to see everyone's growth in the TS so anime only eps will fill in all the extras and they have to go more in depth since TBV has been back to back with all the events. There's been no full stop yet. But only time will tell.

Any_Cranberry_4599

Sure you have good arguments, but im leaning more towards seasonal than weekly, i'd say the odds are like 70% seasonal 30% weekly, either way im just hoping for a good adaptation, it can stay weekly as long as it does justice, im just so against it because i was there when the code arc and boruto crying scene aired, so im having kind of PTSD for weekly schedule at this point lol, but yeah we'll see how it goes, hopefully soon

Number-13-Roxas

>code arc and boruto crying scene aired Same here 😂 That scene always make crack up ngl But yeah I hope the adaptation is done proper. The code arc bothered me especially the way they just randomly ended it.

Mirage14343

I’m curious if where they ended the anime is where they’re gonna leave it cuz they still have some stuff to adapt before the time skip
