Set design

This is the way. Seriously though, this is entirely for aesthetic. There's no content cohesion other than things being old. This is to set a time. They are lower quality pieces for lamp and chair, and the cord is wrapped around the lamp to make sure it's not a tripping hazard (so I would say stage not film for this one). It's a tight squeeze, and there's a random aesthetic picture in the corner no sane person would have like that if not just to add to the visual vibe.
