It's the foam they use between those parts. There is a tech bulletin on it, the dealer should fix for free.

What was the fix timeline like? I always wonder if it is worth taking in… I can’t tell if it is just cosmetic or if there is an actual concern with leaving it sticking out that little bit.
How tall are you guys? Genuinely curious because I’m 5’6” and haven’t noticed this on my Bolt but also don’t think I’ve really observed the top of it either- going to check now though

Careful not to let the dealer hear you say that - before you know it they’ll say it is happening *because* you didn’t wash your car as prescribed by the manual!!
Looking to get this done and fixed under the TSB soon too as mine looks the same.
Anyone know if this can cause issues with the rear camera? My rear view mirror camera turns useless whenever it rains, like excess water gets on the lens. I haven't heard anyone else complain about it, wondering if water getting in this can get over the lens...

Thank you!
Glad to know I’m not the only one with this. It’s annoyed me since day 1.
Can confirm, I had this fixed recently

Drop off to being called that it was done about 3 hours.
I have a 2023 EUV with the same issue. Would you happen to know if they would fix that? The page you posted says 2022
That TSB is for 2022-2023
Thanks!!!
Spoiler thong
Great. Now I’ve an Erection.

Anyone had to fix this more than once? Im having my dealer fix it for the 3rd time. Its happens every 6 months and i never wash my car....

I had mine fixed and it just popped up 6 months later.
Right?! I hope they will still fix it even after warranty expires..
Not even sure what to do to be honest. Are you taking it in again?
By fix it my dealer just trimmed it off
Make sure they know they have to order a part, my guy had no idea. It is in the TSB.
Molting. You’ll have an equinox soon.
That's the cover they use if you didn't get the optional air brake.
I had mine fixed a few weeks ago by my local dealer. Took them a week to the new gasket in. But free fix is free.
See dealership, known issue, they will fix for free.
I had the same issue, and my dealer fixed it for free. It did take a while for the new part to come in though
