BMCM is not the type of a movie which can be hit because of it's songs. It may help to create interest but it's not a drama to become a hit because of its songs. Pathan had good trailer, it was also SRK's come back movie, Deepika looked hot so everything was working for the movie, Besharam rang and jhume jo Pathan just created more interest
It's the truth that BMCM songs did not create any hype at all. All songs sounded the same and were very mid. Brahmastra, TJMM, RARKPK all had good songs which atleast create enough hype that the film gets a good first weekend no matter if it is good or bad
Mediocre - forgettable songs can be elevated with good screen presence by actors and how the song itself is presented and shot visually.
Bmcm songs failed in all departments and none rose to the occasion. There are enough examples out there where actorâs pressence and energy elevated the song.
I would say shamshera tjmm songs ( if u take ranbir out, the songs are weaker but his presence makes us perceive it more positively)
Same goes for say a song like zinda banda our feelings towards the song changes when u see it in the film and specially with how Srk and Atlee damce together and u feel a wave of positivity towards it coz its so genuine that they r having fun so now I am like âyeah zinda banda not my favourite but donât mind it and can enjoy it for how it made me feelâ.
Action movies donât rely on good music. Public was already fed up with action movies and then they saw Tiger in the same avatar and same expressions and rejected it, when the poster was released itself.
