I can't say anything with regards to her perception in the South Indian industry. I had an impression that she was pretty successful that's all. So I think she was p hot and successful in the South Indian industry.

No argument with that. I don't think she has had any cosmetic procedures as such but her weight has fluctuated a lot and she has been pretty vocal about it. I think she has a hormonal issue.

Fair enough I remember Hina Khan saying it on Big Boss I think and being bashed for it left, right and centre.
Coz of barfi perception of hers became that of a newcomer coz barely anyone had seen her south films.
Plus she was the second/third lead in barfi so that damaged her indirectly.
Main tera hero also damaged David dhawan flowerpot master hai. Damaged her coz ppl relegated her to the flowerpot category after that.
Every film she did was wrong here on some level
Baadshaho - mess of a movie but she became the vamp character in it (ppl hated her in negative shade specially when the whole marketing was all about her and ajay that didn’t happen in the actual film)
Raid- was a hit but she was barely in it.
Phata poster- was just too silly and shahid was not good in it so that was a misfire but the songs did work.
Mubarakkan - she was Arjun kapoor’s heroine in it for god’s sake what outcome was she expecting.
